Lots of comments about my choice to use jump cuts this video instead of timelapses. I know the majority of you prefer timelapses, I was just tired at the end of a rough day so I got lazy and did jump cuts because they're faster and easier for me to do. This was an exception, you will continue to get timelapses most of the time (with the occasional video exception here and there because at the end of the day I'm human and burnout can be real sometimes).
Just played my first ever game and won, but only because i watched maybe 100 hours of your gameplay before having a go lol

Agree with you, this game has some issues going on, sometimes when you have double the amount of troops as the other guy and you still can't carve him out. Yet sometimes other guy is same size as you and they literally take a big chunk of you with a single attack then everyone else gang up on you and it's over.

Curious: Do people use 50% of their armies for expanding into free space at the start of the game in all game types or just battle royale? Personally I find a more measured approach can be appropriate for team games (maybe 20% at a time, twice per cycle or something like that)
50% is fine but once you border on bots you should be careful before you get rekt

I do agree tho. I have a harder time in team games when starting with bigger sends
@@davidmorris8319 Well you slow down your expansion but also build up more troops when you do multiple small sends in my opinion. I think larger sends work better with battle royales cos you are further away from other players so have time to recover and also people are less aggressive early on than team games
his old opening was 20% frequently but he changed it up, i do use 50% and 20% both in some games tho. mainly 50%

I realize I'm a bit late, but I'm quite curious, at 21:15 or so, you mention that a new player would focus on attacking you instead of boating off to the other continents, could you (or anyone else) explain what the benefits and hopeful outcome of boating to those other places would be? as a new player, it's a difficult idea to imagine, as it seems like it would just be wasting troops on attacking similarly large players that I would have basically no chance of gaining any land against
The boat strat Is good because Its an Attack on a smaller area then the whole front so you'll conquer more Land and boating to other places=new lands to conquer
