I agree with this 100%! I think it is unfair that someone has to be responsible who shouldn't have to be. Like the one girl who tested 2 guys, and neither was the dad...and THEN she says she doesn't KNOW who or where the dad would be. That upsets me as a WOMAN even.

I caught that too. And notice, she also said she has "a friend who helps her out FINANCIALLY", yet she is so poor that she can't afford childcare, food or diapers for her baby. She had her baby wrapped in towels, it was so bad. If that was so, why not get some money from this so-called "friend" to help her. Why not get one of these "friends" to help watch her baby, even if its just for a part time job? I actually felt sorry for her at first, until her story started unraveling.

They do NOT give the father the paperwork especially if they are not married, and they sure as heck DO NOT give the paperwork while the mother is in recovery. She was majorly playing them both, she knew neither one was the father and tried to coerce one into signing that birth certificate.

Ms Brown knew she didn't have a support system before she got pregnant. I don't understand why mothers don't want to use cloth diapers. I used them for my grandchildren. The money used for disposable diapers could be invested in a college fund. I think disposable diapers come in handy if you're outside the home for a social outing, or a Doctor's visit. We have to learn to be a good steward and plan better.
Cloth diapers cost money too. Time consuming to clean and sanitize. Tbh they are gross bottom line people should not have children if they can’t take care of them.

When I got pregnant at 18 I started collecting all the free stuff I could find online for my baby. I was working 2 jobs so I was good and my boyfriend (now husband of 4 years) worked too so we were good lol but I have to say I was prepared! I didn't plan to have my first she came while I was still on birth control lol so she was unexpected but when you know your having a baby you start preparing! I had cloth diapers, boxes of wipes, a crib, change table and everything 2 months before my first came... how come you didn't stock up and prepare for this baby? Cloth diapers should of been something you planned for if you new you didn't have extra money for disposable diapers and formula should of been bought BEFORE the bay came cuz you never know if your gonna need it. Just saying parents should prepare AS SOON AS THEY FIND OUT THEY ARE PREGNANT SO THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN. I was 18. My boyfriend 22. We did fine, you can do fine just plan 😊 stock up on all the free stuff you can find, get set up when you have the extra income too!

See if the dna test was done automatically and placed with the birth certificate, over half the issues in life would be resolved. But because dna has become a financial racket. The system doesn’t want to pay for the service. So somebody else has to pay for them. They can be expensive as well. So most people don’t get them done when they really do need that pertinent information.
A lot of women would be embarrassed if DNA test were mandatory 😂

A lot of women don't know where to ask for assistance as a lot of services are not highly advertised in a community. There's limited assistance charities are able to provide so they're hoping only people in the most dire situations find them and ask for help; and government assistance is highly restricted because there's not enough funding to help the number of US citizens who live below the poverty line. There are some areas where no help is available for hours in any direction - i have friends in remote parts of GA and NC where there's absolutely nothing available except in major cities where people below the poverty line cannot afford to live, and cannot afford the travel costs to.
I drove myself from Chicago with a car full of supplies for both my friends a few times. I helped them look for community and government assistance near them and sure enough there wasn't anything for at least two hours which becomes at least a six our round trip factoring in parking, paperwork, getting what's needed, and the return drive. 4+ hours of drive time is a lot of gas for someone barely scraping by so it becomes an unjustifiable cost in order to access services.
Went through this with my Mother In Law. Entitled and unhappy. Smh.... Gave her my sons room for two years, and she got mad at me when we told her it's time to go and started playing games between my husband and I. Nope!! Bye!!! Love you from a distance.

Case 1 - Why did she go to the emergency room for a pregnancy test/ultrasound?!
Interesting question.
I found out in an emergency room that I was pregnant with my first child.
I was taken in via ambulance after a seizure and extended loss off consciousness - no history of seizures prior.
It's routine to preg check every female patient over the age of 14 with the first lot of pathology because imaging and some treatment options carry risks in pregnancy, so testing is done to avoid families filing a negligence or misconduct lawsuit if there are any issues that could have been caused by imaging or treatment.
If a preg check is positive they'll look at blood for a quantitative hCG level (human growth hormone) which helps estimate gestation, and quite often do an ultrasound to ensure the pregnancy is not ectopic or in any other way a risk to momma's health.
So, similar to my surprise "you're pregnant, do you know how far along you might be" with ny first, it's highly likely that she presented to an ER for something else and found out she was pregnant with the routine check. ER ultrasound will not confirm gestational age, it's just to make sure momma and foetus are safe.
@@KatiB5587 I get that you could find out in an emergency room situation. But it sounded like she took the test at home, got the positive, and went to the ER to get it confirmed with an ultrasound. I mean, I knew a family without insurance that would go to the ER for everything - even went to the ER because the kids got lice - so I guess maybe she didn't have insurance and the ER can't turn people away.

Even if the test determines you are the father, it doesnt exclude her from cheating. But atleast you know the child is your. And so maybe you will not be paying child support for a child that aint yours.

I was definitely offended because he said he wasn’t his period even though I had never cheated . It really hurt. He eventually stopped but it bothered me. My next child’s father basically did the same thing but he actually did get a DNA test when the baby was three months old and it didn’t bother me at this point because I was a little bit older and I knew what I was doing, but whether in offend you or not it should still be required.
