The Main Street Fort Worth Art Festival is one of the most competitive art festivals in the USA. Top artists from all over compete to get accepted to this coveted art fair. Every year I see some of the best art festival booth setups at this art show. Each booth is not just full of amazing artwork, but is itself a work of art.

Evan, I love your videos, your art, and your setup. Thanks for sharing those early days. A question for you: are you setting up (at this art fair) your entire booth, canopy etc under neath a larger canopy that the Promoters set up?

Great question! Many artists do set up their entire booth, including canopy, under the show tents. Personally, I set up the frame and side walls of my canopy but not the top.

I like the topics and videos quality. What I don't like about this video is that the video jumps around and does not flow like a good story. The flow could be by time, or by comparison of booths or by history of your booths. Maybe you could show the steps to building a good booth and what not to do so it is like a how to video. As you know the viewer should gain some knowledge, grow or learn by watching. I really like your kite aerial photos. Good luck

Great critique. As I mention in the video, I’m trying to improve with each video and storytelling is one of those things I need to improve. Video is not my main focus and is something I do in addition to all of the other work that goes in to creating and selling art. So I often fall short but try each time to put together something useful and engaging.

Yes. This show only allows double spaces for artists who’ve been accepted in two different mediums.

This show is the reason I didn’t just buy new taller panels. My panels don’t even really fit in the front and are wedged under. There is one block that doesn’t have the community tent and you just use you regular booth on that block. It gets crazy windy here so it feels much more safe to be under the big tent to me, even with the space limitations. Can’t wait to see your new massive booth!
