I like how since Pierrick Picaut released his rigging course and it was popular beyond any expectations all of the sudden more content on rigging is showing up. Ofcourse this might be purely coincidental but I'm happy with the outcome either way - keep it up! :)

Thanks for another part! I watched the first 3 videos yesterday and I thought I would have to wait at least a week for another part, so thank you for being so fast :)

Thank you :) you can except new episode every two to three days for this series, right now the main rigging goes up to part 12, and then I'll carry on to animation and bringing this into a game engine.

Is there a way to copy the weights from one set of bones or verts to another, it would be really handy in this situation, were youve done one finger but can then just copy to the rest of them.

There is one way - I could have weight painted one finger as it's own object, then duplicated this a bunch and renamed all the vertex groups to match the fingers. Then I can join these all together as one object. I would do this more if it was something like a wheel or a piston. That's almost like a modeling rigging hybrid workflow.

hey you said you were gonna include an addon for weight painting in the description, but I dont see it there. Im sure I can find it if its on the blender market tho, but Im just curious which one you were gonna recommend.

There are two actually, lazy weights is one: blendermarket.com/products/lazy-weight-tool
And this one from gumroad: gumroad.com/l/weight_paint_tools
I've played around with the lazy weights tool more for a couple of projects, but the weight paint tools looks like it has more features. I only use the default weight paint tools for the duration of this series though.
