- His boss theme has three phases, and I really love all of them. Robin's song made this fight more epic, even though her song didn't have a strong melody like Wildfire. But still, this is an amazing boss fight. Thank you, Hoyo.

I do this with HMC Super break team with Gallagher as only sustain. 😆
@@jaguh9069 I'm aware but every time I fought Sunday, he would eat through all of the shield he gave us, plus about 3/4 of Aventurine's. Aventurine is more of a safety net for me.

@@jaguh9069 he does max 18k of DMG, even if you break 7 shields you will still end up with less than 17k, basically without aventurine your team would be left barely alive, if you have loucha active on then you are lucky if not.....pray💀
I came from aventurine thinking Sunday was gonna be a pain in the ass but I had a lot of fun with this boss.

neither sunday nor even gopher wood is an antagonist, gopher forces his order ideals onto the real world and forces everyone outside penacony to succumb to order dream, thats the flaw that made him kinda "antagonist"

An antagonist is someone that opposes something, be it politically or even physically.
Sunday ideals oppose those of the Nameless and the people that joined us.
That's why I used antagonist and not villain, he never showed any malice towards the express or even the people he invited over (except Hanabi but she totally deserves it).

I accidentally fucked up right before the 00:36 attack and managed to make an epic scene because he almost killed my entire team... and then Robin began to sing.

They should play those voice lines when you replay the boss fight it makes the train ram way better. I don’t care does it take a few seconds longer to use the ability

My emotions during this boss fight were unexplainable. An absolute masterpiece. But they gaslit us into thinking the quest is done for like 3 or 4 times 😂
edit: you know the sound effect when you launch the game and the star rail logo appears? The fact that that sound effect was in the special attack caught me so off guard 😂

You can get them for free if you snitch it to the bloodhound member near the stairs. Also you can get the boss theme instrumental if you came back to the theatre after boss fight. Robin will message you, retrieve sunday's notebook in the stage, and give it to robin in the entrance (dressed as intellitron [gold head robot])
This bossfight definitely elevated Peakcony to a whole different level.

I just finished( v2.2). I'm gonna say it, the final boss in Penacony was the best final boss fight in HSR by far! I'm playing HSR in phone. The boss fight was so good that I had to take some screenshots in the battle so that I'll always remember that moment.
Yes, the music was the cherry on top. When the cutscene in phase 2 came in, and I heard Robin's instrumental song, "Hope Is A Thing With Feathers," then back to the fight, I was so hyped and I wanted to cry. It just sounds so beautiful.
Then when phase 3 came in, Robin's vocals came in, my hyped went further.
The Astral Express train railing on the boss was awesome! And I like the Nameless' dialogues.
I just really wonder how are they gonna top Penacony's story quest and final boss. Because this was PEAK FICTION!

My exact same experience. When Robin came in during phase 2 it symbolize her like an Angel coming to aid us. And just when i think it wouldn't get better than this, phase 3 finally adds her vocals as we try to wreck her brother's weakness bar. Peakcony at it's finest 😭

The lyrics being revealed during the final phase had the same (if not more) level of emotion as Cocolia’s Wildfire, goddamn. The only thing that sorta took away from it was it started to make us jam while giving us a refresher tutorial screen lmfao

Great boss fight, I also love how thematicaly Sunday is ultimately the bird that couldn't fly, but as he was falling Robin jumped to save him, fullfiling the promise of the harmony. I loved it so much.

The only reason I survived his boss fight was because I had two healers and they didn't immediately get one tapped on my winning attempt 😭😭
I overkilled him to be honest x)
My team destroyed so much of his shield that my special shield was able to tank entirely his finger attack even won an achievement for that
Funfact: theres a exclusive animation and voiceline only in main story boss fight, the astrall express voiceline and clockie animation is removed after this boss story same with exclusive jingyuan voice line in phantilya boss
