The hospital scene with Charlie and the one where he breaks down and cuts himself are going to be the hardest, almost impossible, ones for me. These snippets will be good to prepare us for them.
alice added the stills to insta stories with little captions to go along with them:
- photo of nick on the beach was posted with the comic panel where he says love you to charlie as the phone cuts off due to charlie and his mum fighting, which will then lead into the love cant cure mental illness scene ( i imagine it will be with auntie diane but it may well be shown via a phone call with his mum )
- photo of tao and elle had a caption about new years so i think thats from the new years party that they all go to
- photo of charlie and tori in bed had a caption saying “venting about your annoying family members with your sibling” so i assume it has something to do with charlie and his mum’s very rocky relationship
- photo of charlie had the caption “one step at a time” so i assume its a still from him at the hospital

Just letting you know that the zoo photo is Whipsnade Zoo (not the london one) it's an amazing zoo and I have known about those scenes since last year because someone I know happened to be there when they were filming.

I saw the photos as soon as they released yesterday and I’m emotional all over again 🥹🥹🥹 I’m excited for the “I love you” scene and for Ollie to be included. I think Charlie’s story is going to be beautiful, though I’m really nervous for how emotional it’s gonna be. I’m looking forward to exploring Isaac’s and Imogen’s stories more, too. As for the photo of Elle and Tao, some of the official IG channels had stories saying it’s New Year’s Eve!

I just read vol 4 of Heartstopper the other night [Monday? Maybe?] and so I knew what was most likely to happen in the "alternate timeline" of Season 3. It is like history not repeating itself, but rhyming! The "coming out dinner" scene is word for word nearly at the END of V4, but we've already SEEN that! So, the eating thing and Oliver. What a joy. Cannot wait. I'm still watching at least ONE Heartstopper episode each night before bed. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've watched it. This is my first viewing of any of your reactions, and I'm already a fan. You sound like me talking about this show to everyone I know. SubScribed! I just had a 5 hour long convo with my best friend about "the absent father" subtheme in Series 2 and his absent father. He at one point was SOOOOOOOO triggered and he's working on 59 years and his dad has been dead for 13 of those. But, the issues continue. And I've known him for nearly 5 years and this is the first time we've talked about it. And he runs a LGBTQIA+ resource center for young people. Heartstopper changing the world!

It is nice that they added Oliver in the show. It will give a refreshing new point of view of Nick and Charlie's relationship.
Personally I wait for what will happen for Imogen, a character who is often considered as a side kick, but her journey through the seasons is in fact very interesting

The be real there’s ways to writing Oliver to become a main stay in the cast now we have to be patient to see what transpires season three is not out but soon enough, it will be out. Can’t wait to see season three and to finally see Oliver.

I am very excited about the entire series but especially all the parts related to Charlie's mental health since I can relate a lot to Charlie since I was diagnosed with anorexia so I want to see how they handle that situation in the series. I can also relate a lot to Charlie because I was bullied a lot for being queer.

I will be interested to see if the narrative in any way redeems Charlie’s mum; in S2 she was still positioned as an over cautious, rather unfeeling and 3:45 critical parent (I think Charlie and his therapy team have a lot to go there: will S3 show it?): will this be her chance to be seen in a different light?

They should have put Oliver in S1 and S2. He's Charlie's younger brother and Tori's too. I've find it weird watch S1 without Oliver. I'm in S2 right. I'm loving the series. I've read the books and my dad's read N1 and N2. I'm wanting for book 5 and S3.
