I'll be honest, I stopped playing gacha games a year ago because it's becoming a second job which was something I did not want. I started playing games that doesn't need my attention round the clock. Although I still wonder what's happening with some of the games I used to play.
You don't play *any* of them anymore? What about MMOs?
I stopped spending money but did not stop playing, sure it was really heavy to do, but doing it made me save a lot more money for myself and my family. Let's be honest, Gacha games can literally ruins someone's life especially those who have gambling addictions. That's why gacha games are often the most hated in the gaming industry.
As life, gacha can become overbearing IF you take the meta grind approach. Also as in life, enjoy it as it is and don't force it.
Tbh the people that complain about Gacha burnout are the same people grinding 24/7. These same people are the same min maxxers irl, nothing satisfies them until the next great fix

I downloaded the CN version of solo leveling, couldnt really play it for long because the load times where pretty long ( because of me being in us, so no crying about it from me) but the time i played it was pretty good. Just wanted to get my hands in it, and pretty excited about the global drop for it. The second WW drop thatll be the one i mess with, but still not for a while.
As far as my expereince in early access, Solo Leveling is not bad at all mechanics wise and reward generousity, but the daily are so tedious (up to an hour per day not counting other contents) if u dont buy the premium perk. There also frequent bugs like stucking at battle outro animation and extreme lag in some specific stages. There is no gold farming dugeon currently, which is weird cuz u need gold for basically everything. To make it worse, switching leveled up artifacts require gold which is the dumbest things ever. I hope they fix some of these issues at the official launch.

To be honest, I quickly forgot about the 50/50 on Astra when they gave us basically 30 days of energy for free (though it is a problem). Managed to max out four characters and the new Artificial Intelligence is A LOT better since it is able to complete level 83 and on missions without any unit loss now. But it is a problem, and there are rumors they nerfed the old 4 star poison to promote the new poison unit. Though the new unit is a bow, which the game has a lot of and other weapon types aren't well represented yet (which makes weapon pulls feel bad). The game is INCREDIBLY fun and reminds me of Dragon's Crown / Gauntlet / Golden Axe but their publisher doesn't seem to know how to do anything with relation to gacha. It sort of seems like it was originally intended to be a buy to play game and then the decision was made to make it a gacha half way through because money.

If you we really want to talk about bad localizasian.When a game released , just look at the english version of ensemble stars
if you want insight to the improvements of wuwa localization I saw and heard from a tester I know who told me about the quality of the localization from the localization test under nda that it is surprisingly pretty good

Sudden Assualt Lily appeared. i am interested how the western/en side of people take this game. i been a active player on the JP side of game, also been a ex player of the 1st Assualt Lily TW version, which i play until the game close down. Now a Assault Lily W appeared from another company and apperantly had english translation on it. So i am legit curious.

ToF is such an interesting beast. They recently released their total earnings since launch, and it hasn't been doing bad. Overall, it's been earning over $19M per month average. BUT... that's across the whole 29 month life of the game. If you look at the past 10 months, it's been running somewhat steady at a little over $5 M per month. Which is fine, that's still a very respectable number, but clearly they are only making a fraction of what they did at the start. Clearly, 3.0 didn't help... in fact, that was when a DECLINE to it's current level started. I see no reason to expect 4.0 to do any better. And the copium I see from ToF players thinking that upcoming games like WW, ZZZ, and Enfield won't pull players away...

The issue with that is that it’s both CN, JP and Global. As an example, Genshin makes an average of $40-60 million in CN, and similar numbers Globally from just mobile. Arknights makes about $1-2 million Globally, but $6-15 million in CN. Many games that don’t make much make a lot more in CN, JP or KR. ToF is making roughly $5 million across PC, Mobile and Console across every region combined. That’s not bad but definitely not nearly as good as it could be earning.

Astra publisher [HYBE] pulled the most scummy move by making their gacha 50/50 not carried over to different Limited banner, despite their efforts of "copying" Hoyo's gacha formula, so for new players better think twice before spending money on that game or just play it f2p all the way
