Your brain tunes it out eventually. I had one in the stairwell behind my old apartment that was hard wired into the electrical system but chirped because the backup battery was dead. The battery couldn't be changed without putting a ladder at a dangerous angle. So for two years there was a chirp every 60 seconds. I stopped hearing it over time. Like living near a farm you stop smelling the manure. Living near the airport the planes don't wake you up anymore. The chirps entered my ears and my brain chose not to register them.
Interventions rarely work anyway. Most of them are simply an attempt to force someone to get clean that has no interest in stopping the self-absorbed behavior. They are already a joke.
Yep hilarious until someone has an addiction. Then all the humor dies, or they won’t take it seriously. This was silly tho, but as someone who had to participate in my moms intervention when I was a kid, I truly hope these people never have to go through a real one. It’s not fun or funny for anybody

I have been gifted 2 portable chargers 😂😂😂 people know if they text they'll get a response within 2-6 hours 😂 Or my phone dies mid conversation 😂 I'm am the low battery friend😂
I'm the opposite. I don't use my phone hardly at all while I'm in the house, but when I'm out and about I always have Spotify running, so my phone battery constantly goes down 😅

On Life360 which is a location app too see where your friends/family are, it sends a notification when your phone is under like 20 percent. It drives my mama crazy!
My family and i have an app to track each others location (for nights out, or holidays, or destination arrival times etc) but it also sends notifications on battery percentage as well saying "tell ** to charge their phone"
it’s likely Life360 (a sharing locations app too use with family and friends) because it sends a notification every time your phone gets under 20 percent! Hope this helps ❤
at least on whatsapp, when you're on call with someone, you get a little warning if their battery is low so that you know why they suddenly left. also on a tracker app my family started using, you get a notification if the battery goes under 10%. or maybe the group is just chatting and the battery's low so you'd probably want so say that so no one gets worried
Some of us like the freedom of using our phones without having it connected to a restraining cord and also when it does die it’s a huge plus to avoid an unwanted incoming call/text.
I agree. We need to do interventions because interactions with other people are how we calibrate ourselves and without consistent calibrating we go in the wrong directions. Our path is wide enough, but it’s not infinite. So calibrate yourselves by interacting with others.
This is brilliant and beautiful, and YES we should be doing these more often and for other reasons; like bad bathroom etiquette or never having a full tank of gas etc…
Ha ha ha...my darling husband is my "low battery" champion. He also makes sure my car has gas in the tank. 🤷🏻♀️How did I function without him for so long??🤨😊♥️
Brett we need to talk about how frequently you've been staging interventions we care about you and we know you're just trying to help😅😂😂😂😂... Why is this such a mood😅
I am the low battery friend. Maybe the dead phone friend. Went on spring break last week, let my phone die on Monday, didn’t charge it until Friday lol.
Could never be me. I literally get irritated when my phone is at 50%. Like, im not kidding. It pisses me off. Or if ANYTHING is low on battery. Like whew, I can't. 🤣😂
My mum would say I need an intervention to take my phone off silent. I work in a school, so put my phone onto silent then always forget to turn it back on. 😆
Nothing worse back In the day you jump in the company truck and yell “Yes” because the last ten guys left phone charger and cable everywhere but then you realize not one of them fits your latest model phone.
Not the phone😂😂 well i guess i need an intervention myself because my phone is always low as well or i don't respond to text for hours or days latee🥴😂😂
Every phone purchased today comes with a charger. Here's the concept: "PLUG THEM IN" to both the wall outlets, and the phones charging port. You'll be surprised at how well it works.
Poor man probably just wants to be left alone for his own inner personal battery to charge! Typical case of extroverted friends trying to transform their introverted friend in to one of them, instead of accepting him for who he is.
everyone got 1 friend with the same problem. No matter what you advise or how may time he was in shitty situations because of dead phone. Still the same
This needs done for people who don't replace the battery in a chirping smoke alarm. It's torture, how do people live like that?
I hate smoke alarms. I pull the batteries out and never put them back
The problem isn't that the smoke alarm is chirping. The problem is I don't pick up 9volt batteries as often as corporations think I do.
Oh there's supposed to be a battery in it??😂😂😂
Hey that’s racist lol
