- Working with Anubis in deity work and my experience with Anubis has been a long and awesome road. From the days I used to dream about him, to the now present day working with Anubis, my life has changed dramatically. God Anubis is truly an amazing deity. He is one of the deities for beginners as well! He loves to watch and help as much as possible when working with deities. The Egyptian God Anubis has always been very close with me and in todays video I will explain my experience in working with Anubis. Witchcraft tips for beginners will also be included as what to give for Anubis offerings on your Anubis Altar if you are starting to work with him. I will also give an understanding as to how to realize he is calling out to you as well through signs of Anubis! I figured this video would help quell deity work for beginners, those who are scared to work with him or give him a chance because he is an underworld god. I assure you, he is an amazing deity, he is awesome to work with, and is full of positive energy for your witchcraft and everyday lives! Hope you enjoy and blessed be!

I just started working with Anubis, im very very early in my witchcraft journey. I remember when I was younger (hella young like 4?) I either had a dream or vision of hieroglyphs. I had just recently remembered it cause I'd forgotten about it completely. Well I'm iffy about if Anubis has really been calling out to me so I've been hoping to just get on his "good graces" cause even if he didnt want to work with me I was willing to still give him offerings, and by talking to his candle, saying goodmorning to him when I get home from work, lighting a incense for him everyday. I noticed that since I officially set up an alter for him, I've been moody asf. I've always had bad family problems and I had just recently been kicked out and disowned. I havent been bothered by what had happened untill recently and I've noticed I started caring about it a lot more than I thought, I started crying alot which I dont think is a bad thing, but it's not normal for me haha. I had also found out my cat had died cause my old family didnt care for him and when I did I started telling Anubis (or his flickering candle) about my cat and I swear about 2 days later a black cat just walked into my house and was the most friendliest stray i met (it's a male cat with no tail and now regularly comes by for pets and love) I feel so calm around him but when he first came into my house I was shaking so bad (idk why no negative feelings). The cat even came up to Anubis's alter and layed under it for a bit, even sniffing something that I had offered him and placed his paw on it. I'm too scared to ask Anubis with my pendulum if he sent the cat to me cause I dont wanna annoy him but i have a feeling he did, my tarot cards pulled the high priestess when I asked who sent me the black cat. But this is my experience with starting out with Anubis. I'd love to hear what you think!
I see no message I see you don’t believe. In your dream with Anubis when we was walking around you was to the right of Anubis and Anubis ( me was on your left side) I showed you a pyramid from far however we was walking on the flat sand lands a small distance from the pyramids . If I looked right you was there with the pyramids to the right of you. To your left was me with nothing behind me but the land of Egypt and the bright sky
I used to be obsessed for king tut. And I remember I would take covers and shape them like a mummy and I would take little tiny things and pretend to mummify them. As a kid I used to be obsessed with mummification. And I bought a statue but I don’t feel like I don’t know how to grow with Anubis like I should. Do you have any advice?
My experience with Anubis happened during a eclipse season. The previous eclipse season, I asked to heal a huge wound in me that had been plaguing me. Fast forward, I saw this blue faint eye in my mind. I followed it & ended up in this dark red clay looking place. For miles I followed the trail & saw a huge being with horns shewing away beings that wanted to “attack” me.. I saw this cute dog & I knew his name. Anubis. So I knew to follow him. I followed him to this tomb where a life force was suffering nonstop. It happened to be me. The light energy attached to my body. I immediately woke up & then heard really loudly “you have now found the missing piece of your soul.” After that, my life changed so much. Before this dream I had no clue who Anubis was nor did I know he was Egyptian or anything. I googled Anubis after my dream & found everything I saw in my dream online about him. It was super shocking but really cool.
Funny you mention eclipses in association with Anpu. I have also sensed this and make a point of remembering him during solar eclipses. I create an incense for him ONLY blended during the hours of an eclipse of myrrh, cloves, and a small bit of star anise. Try this and see if it adds to your work with him.
When you said you asked to heal a huge wound in you, who did you ask? We're just praying to God and then Anubis came to you?
Deities have been approaching humans for hundreds of thousands of years. It's great to hear from them and you should embrace it and realise that it isn't about making a pledge or working only with them - they speak because they know you can hear. Embrace it.
Only? We are all 1 body, synchronizing to the aspects we are currently in alignment with expansion...nothing to worry about
Anubis is my first and only deity I’ve worked with and he has such a calming and protective energy! He feels very patient and much like a teacher ☺️ even when I don’t have time for my craft I feel like he is there for me when I come back. I do notice though when I don’t spend enough time giving him offerings and spending time with him that he backs away. It never feels like a negative thing but more like he’s saying “when you have the time to put in the effort then I will put effort in too” I know some deities will leave or be angry if you are seeming to neglect them but I’ve never gotten that energy with him.
Does anyone else feel that way with him?

He mirrors our energy. We associate him with a dark pit of darkness and void, but actually, death is a rebuilding of self, not the end of our existence. Life and death are the balance of the universe. A life is lost when one is born. I’m experiencing a dark night of the soul, and currently seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. Not always, healing is not linear, it’s grieving.
I'm not very practiced or knowledgeable regarding deities in witchcraft but I have often had the sense that some of the well known underworld deities have this like comforting, stable kindness to them when I think about them. At least the ones I know more about XD Lord Anubis seems like he's gentle and safe, although I have no experience with him other than as a reader of mythology.

I love Anubis he used to show in my dreams a few year before my boyfriend died suddenly I often wonder if he was trying to warn me. I love him. I'm not a witch but I feel the connection
I may not be a practitioner like yourself, but it didn't surprise me that your interactions with Anubis were positive considering what I learned about him in Egyptian mythology. His willful relinquishment of the rulership of the underworld to Osiris and his dedication to protecting and guiding the dead was enough to tell me that he was altruistic by default, which is why he is my number 1 favorite deity.
He communicates with me on a regular basis. A few months ago he stood next to my bed and we talked a little,he's very calming and had a blue aura around him. Love you Anpu.
i have nearly the same exact experience as you with Anubis. He was the first deity to appear in my life when I was just starting on my path, he never demanded worship or anything from me, he just referred to me as his daughter. His energy is soooooo wonderful, I always describe it as the warm sun especially his chest, for a deity associated with death Anubis is the kindest, warmest, and most loving being. While I grew up, he stood by my side, always coming into my life to check on me, to love me, to nurture me. He taught me the ways of embalming in astral, took me to places where we could spend quality time, and if I ever spent excessive time away or our connection was blocked we always reunited in the love of a child and parent. He is my patron, my father, everything. I don't think I can imagine my life without him actually, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has such a deep, sacred, and tender relationship with him!
I remember I would see visible signs and images of him even in my little dog where he would appear as a jackal to me, that's how I know he is near. I asked him the same exact question as you did, "why exactly is our connection so much stronger/why do i feel so much stronger of a connection with you than my other deities?" and it all makes sense now after hearing you get your answer!
When I started getting visions before sleep again the dark jackal wolf they have in Egypt was the first one I recall seeing and recalling the others would flash by too quickly
yes the innergy of Anubis really activates when one begins his or her journey. It is more guided to remove the old and bring to death people or situation which have been given their removal date to begin your brand new beginning! You begin to go through a eulogy process. For many of you it is ok. you who have been chosen will experience a lot of death. I know its strange but you have to accept the end to bring the beginning! Great cycles are ahead!
After working with Anpu for years, I felt he left. I began working with Loki to more accept who I am. I suddenly felt a pull back and met up with other sensitives and was told twice than I he was my patron, connected with this life and my past lives. He was seen with his hand on my shoulder. His energy is so enormous, it takes up the whole room. He is royal. Dua Anpu!
Thank you for sharing your experiences with Anubis. I had an astral experience with Anubis. I found myself in an underground structure; it was carved out of stone and was in a wagon wheel formation. I was standing at the intersection of a hallway and the center (approximately six o'clock). I looked to my right and Anubis was coming down a hallway (about three o'clock). He was at least two stories tall and he spoke. When he spoke, his voice roared like thunder. Although I wasn't afraid of him, his voice really startled me, so I screamed. I screamed so loud that it pulled me back into my body. Since that happened I have been fascinated by Anubis.
Your story is amazing!! I was in middle school doing a project on him. My class was doing a session project on Ancient Egypt and had to dress up as those from that time. I chose Anubis. He has been with me ever since!! I have also been really interested in Ancient Egypt growing up. And then I did that special project on Anubis in school. He’s a very good God!!
As a toddler I used to carry a statue of Bast my mother had EVERYWHERE lol.

I love working with Anubis, he came to me in a dream as well, which, was a lot more like a nightmare. He sheilded me, and said “I am with you child” I woke up with a start, and the following weeks bought a statue, shadowork tarot deck, and egyptian tarot deck that I was immediately drawn to. Hes been given chocolate covered espresso beans ever since.
Those chocolate covered beans are so good but everytime I buy them k just hear "I want those!" and I'm like 😑 okay sir they are yours! 😂

I have an extremely strong connection with Thor and have been working with him for a couple of years. Hes aided me with strength and protection during some of the hardest times in my life. However, Anubis has always called my interest since I was little. Even growing up in a Christian household, I always found the image of Anubis fascinating. I am pretty drawn to him to this day and I'm thinking I need to reach out to him. If he wants to work with me, I will have a mini altar just for him. Thor has always been the "fight" in me to overcome the trials i faced. Anubis always gives me more calm energy when i think about him. So i will definitely be looking into him.

Recently Anubis and I were hanging out in a temple garden when I kept seeing Taweret in the shadows. I didn't know much about her and started to do some research. I think Anubis invited her to meet me to show that my husband and I are on the right path to become parents. That or she is just waiting for the right time, but letting me know that she is there to help.
Ive been working with Anpu for a few now. We connect thru my ancestors being in the Ghede Loa that work with the dead, necromancy. I walked into a store and went straight to his statue, a sign, then i did a mantra and over 100 vultures were at my front door, when I stepped outside they all flew and only 1 feather was left. I use the feather on his altar as a representation of ma’at’s feather and also Anput’s vulture connection. I admire your connection and love for Anpu(anubis) and i enjoy your videos. 🪶🔥💧😂🙏🏽♉️
Hi!! I just came from your TikTok video and I want to say I’m super excited and happy from listening to you talk about your experiences with Anubis, specially since you are a male witch and one of the few creators that I know that talk about Egyptian gods, and more specifically Anubis.
I have also felt a strong connection with him since I was 5, my mom bought me a wooden toy set of an Egyptian pyramid and it had small wooden figures of Anubis, Seth, Isis, Horus and Osiris and I immediately felt drawn to the Anubis statue, and from then on I was always interested in Egyptian mythology.
With the small statue I felt like a pull, a warmth in my chest, like a familiarity, a longing and desire that I couldn’t really understand where it came from but after years passed I always had Anubis in the back of my head, and was always researching and looking for him in mythology books and drawings. Once I started into witchcraft and learned about Deity work my brain just went on and just felt the need to connect with Anubis even more but as always one starts to doubt stuff, even still over the course of a few weeks I had three signs of him appearing in random places, like his presence, from an Egyptian convention from which I got him a statue and I felt the strong urge to get it, an Anubis mask inside a video game I was playing and I can’t remember the third one but I’m sure it was there calling.
Either way, this entire essay was just to share my experience jaja, sorry if it’s too long and boring. Anubis has been helping me a lot, I have always felt his energy as kind and warm, he has a strong aura and he imposes respect (in a good way), when he’s in front of you, but has never been an aggressive god unless something wrong is happening and takes matter into his hands, he’s a guardian and a protector and I feel so happy for being able to work with him, I just feel like he’s my Patron but my self doubt is horrible but he’s been helping me with that.

My experience with Anpu ( Anubis ), in my dream I was child saw Egyptian exhibit went into, I saw Anubis statue I went to him. I heard Anubis talking to me, telling me why I felt drawn to Egypt, reasoned is I once lived in Egypt in the past. I never experienced this I told my wife about it, about this wonderful dream, I saw more of him.

Thanks for sharing your experience with Anubis. I’ve had the exact same or very similar experiences and feel like he’s a very fatherly guide. I’m not great at communication generally and still working on my own craft so never had direct answers with pendulums etc… but I’m able to feel some likes and dislikes when concentrating and asking through thought. I’m also an ex-Catholic and have always been drawn to “mythology”. Anubis is a deity that I’ve always been drawn to but never really knew why. I just summed it up to him just being one of those mythological deities everyone liked a lot. I recently overcame my fear of reaching out to Lucifer, a being who I was intimidated by due to my upbringing but I was greeted with immense warmth and kindness that I almost doubted it was Lucifer. Over the next few days, I’d wake up with thoughts of Anubis. It was like he was calling to me to reach out to him too so I did and I felt a similar warmth to Lucifer and then I realized they had been wanting to work with me for some time. I had also spoke to a couple of other deities and I didn’t feel the same warmth, it’s similar to familiarity. Normally when I watch these kinds of videos, I can only take their word for it but since I’ve actually experienced the connection you’re talking about, I feel excited to have been able to connect with Anubis as well
So for me, it happened recently (or that's what I thought until I saw your video), as a few months ago I saw a weird dream being in a place that looked like an ancient city. A weird humanoid being was trying to attack me and hurt the people around me and then a voice said to me "Daughter of Anubis do not be afraid", and I was engulfed by fires and grew wings from fire and the feeling was so warm and protective.. From that moment on I saw Anubis in my dreams a lot... One day my bf made me really sad about something and the next morning he said to me that he saw a weird dream. He saw 3 Gods, Loki, Thor, and Anubis. Anubis was furious with him.. I never talked about him to my bf or the dreams I have.. Made me wonder and start researching. Now that I saw your video I realized that as a child I used to dream of a black dog following me or trying to come closer to me but I was too scared and tried to run away from it.. I don't practice witchcraft, only some card reading, so I m kinda confused.. Is Anubis trying to speak to me or am I imagining things? This only happens in my dreams..
Also not really interested in witchcraft, it seems like Anubis likes the lucid dreamers or dreamers in general. I think dreams are way to attain spiritual growth understanding. It is an easy way for spirits, spirit guides, those not currently alive or on earth to get in touch with humans.
Sounds to me that you should probably just start worshipping Anubis. Even if you were just imagining things, you clearly feel drawn to Him. You should build a shrine and make offerings to Anubis

I've always been into ancient history since I was little, especially Egyptian and Greek 🖤 Anubis always gave off that sort of comforting, protective, father like vibe to me ♡
This...wow. Okay. Things are starting to make sense. As a kid I got into Egyptian history and adored it so so so much. There's a hobby store in town that sold random jewelry and I bought ankhs from there twice (one broke, they weren't great quality) but I adored them so much. A friend had given me a mummy necklace, I was obsessed with the Neopets desert based on Egypt and specifically the petpet Anubis. I had bought one from Limited Too and had it up until I was twenty when it got lost in a move/manic attack. I bought a grab bag of craft jewelry from a thrift store (a christian based one mind you) and got an obsidian pendulum in it. This was before I had started my craft. I've always loved coffins and every time I've seen a mummy exhibit go through museums I've wanted to go take a look, though it does make me sad that we profit from the excavation of sacred tombs. The first bracelet I bought from a metaphysical store was an obsidian one. When I asked for a sign of if a deity was looking to work with me a man came into my work. Not much special about him, just a dude in a carhart jacket. But he had a single patch on his sleeve- it was anubis. I asked for more clear signs and didn't realize until the next day that that there had been quite a few. There's this book I loved as a kid called The Egypt Game... I could go on forever. I think I finally answered the call.

Even before watching the video itself, your description is absolutely PERFECT as to how I'd describe working with Anubis and how incredible he is. FINALLY I've found someone that _gets him_ and sees that he isn't this daunting deity in the shadows, ready to rip your heart out or something. It annoys me so much that so much music and meditative videos dedicated to him have such a dark, intimidating vibe to them. Had these people done much work _WITH_ Anubis they'd realize very quickly he is such a sweet jackal and yeah he's mysterious but he's not terrifying to work with. He's quite the opposite in my experiences. I'm pretty new to witchcraft, shamanism and Kemeticism in general, so this was an _excellent_ video for me! 💜💜
I first noticed him when I was doing research related to another hobby of mine at the time. Seeing him made me dig into learning more about him, and eventually I dropped Christianity and became Kemetic, with Anubis as my patron god. My communication with him is very much a two-sided relationship. I try my damnedest to make weekly food offerings to him, usually just whatever I'm having for dinner on a random day. Within my experiences, he's always wanted me to _consume_ whatever I'm offering him, when I'm offering it to him. I've more-less had him say "what good is offering food to me if you yourself don't consume it? It is a physical object, destined for you and in your physical realm; I implore you to enjoy it as I do!" and so I offer things to him with hopes he enjoys them _spiritually_ as I will enjoy them _physically._
Anubis absolutely loves any black-and-gold themed statues in my experience. This is why I have _several_ statues of him in jackal form and have offered a sizeable variety of art over time as well. He really likes Frankincense and Frankincense-Myrrh, Egyptian Musk, and I think his favorite (and the collective pantheon favorite!) is Kyphi. The energy I feel any time I burn kyphi is just incredible; it's $8 for 10 sticks so I rarely ever burn it, but when I do the energy is nuts. My room feels electric and any workings I do with kyphi burning feel boosted significantly. There's an Etsy shop that sells sticks of it; I highly recommend you try it out! The scent is an acquired taste for some folks. I'd say it has an almond-like aroma with some fruit or flower-based scents mixed in.
I don’t have a story of working with a deity since I have not started to work with them, but hearing your experience with Anubis reminded me of something.
When I was little I have always felt connected to Ancient Egypt (especially the mythology). The deity/god that had intrigued me the most was Anubis. I have always felt like there was a connection (even if the connection was really small). At some point when I was really little, I lost my family pet dog (he died). Before I went to a neighbor’s house so my parents could take him to the vet to see if he was ill, our dog went into my room and gave me an expression that was sorrowful looking and when I looked at him, something felt like this would be the last I saw of him in that incarnation. Halfway through being with the neighbor, I suddenly stopped playing. There was something telling me that my family dog had passed. I didn’t know how to take this so I went back to what I was originally doing, tho the thought kept reappearing in my head. When my parents came back, I instantly asked if he died and also said that I didn’t want to go back because he was gone. Later that night, I was told by my parents that he died. Soon after I would have dreams with Anubis in them. Within a year, statues and things symbolizing the god Anubis kept appearing but I didn’t understand what it could have meant. Years later, I was with an old acquaintance and we were talking. During one of our conversations, I saw the spirit of Anubis. I was surprised because while I had always wished to see the spirit of Anpu, I would often question is I was “worthy” or “chosen” enough to to be able to. It surprised me a lot and Would come to be something that I will always remember with great detail. I would always feel like he was helping to watch over me and protect me or guide me. From there on, I would either get dreams or visions related to him or expressing about someone who has already passed on. Just a few years ago, my family and I went on a road trip. During it we would go into Crystal shops or other spiritual related stores. One thing stayed the same during each and every one of them. As soon as we would go into the store, I would either instantly see a statue of Anubis or would feel a type of “calling” which would lead me to a statue of him. One of the more recent road trips, we found another Crystal store. As soon as we went in I went to where there were statues of ancient Egyptian deities and the first statue I saw was a statue of Anpu. In fact there were various statues of him. I was able to by statues of 4 Egyptian deities (Anpu included). They were small statues though, Whenever I felt like I needed help or felt like I was alone, I would have the statue of Anpu with me or near me and then I would feel at peace and felt protected. Within the past year I would have a dream of being in Egypt and Anubis would be there too. I don’t know if it was him trying to reach out to me.
I am sorry that this is a long comment 🥲 but if anyone has guidance or insight can you please help me. I recently expressed to my family that I am polytheistic, and recently wanted to learn spirit work. I don’t know if I am mastered enough to call upon deities so I don’t know if I can ask Anubis if he was trying to reach out to me.
Pretty sure a polite request to spend time would be enough since he has taken a shine to you.
You don't need to be a master of anything to call upon the Gods. It's not a privilege. Not even a right. It's the duty of the faithful to be in right relations with the Gods. There are children in places like India or Japan or China or on Native American reservations that are taught to honor the Gods and spirits. What kind of a master could a child be? Build a shrine, pray to Anubis, and make offerings.
I'm watching just to get familiar with Anubis's energy. I've just started my journey with Bast, when I bought a pretty statue of her off of my friend who owns a botanica, 2 days later of having her little area set up I had a dream I was in my friends botanica but it looked like those funny looking ai images that look like abstract art right. I had Anubis hand me a familiar statue of Bast and in spanish ((I pray and communicate to the energies I work with in Spanish, if it makes sense I use them speaking in Spanish as a confirmation it's them yk?)) male almost relaxed/laid back voice tell me "With this you'll never feel alone" the next morning I had seen black kitties playing on the street and I took it as a good sign from both 💗😭
Must be so cool. :) I've always been drawn to Anubis/Anpu. It might have something to do with me liking sighthounds( greyhounds). There is something royal and calming about their aura. Which is why I rescued one 😘

Anubis is the Greek word name they gave him, his original name is ANPU. Also spelled 'Apu' . Interpretations: Lord of the Sacred Land. Master of Secrets. The Right Hand of Osiris. Great video and story, I feel your connection to HIM. My perspective on deities is actually less about their "forms" in mythology, and more based on energetic archetype. I see them as Universal "Logos" who may or may not have incarnated on Earth. I've also worked with the Mind/Entity complex of ANPU, and from my experience he did have an aspect of his soul as an incarnate (physical being) when he lived on an planet in Sirius (Canis Majoris - constellation), these beings from Sirius visited Earth and developed the Ancient Egyptian culture. From my understanding his essence is a MASTER and keeper of SOULS in our Galaxy. That's why you see depictions of Anubis weighing souls on a scale. Since I have started with him I have had a calm come over me I have never had. I also have dreamed of him as a child.
I woke up last night and rolled over to find his face in my bed looking towards the window. he gave me a message from and about someone. I woked up a few times, he was there all night. I watched this to see what color cadle he would like for thanks.
Wow!!! I didn't know much in the beginning but I knew Anubis wanted to work with me. I was all of a sudden obsessed with egyptian documentaries. I just needed to have as much knowledge as I could then I saw a painting in a pyramid( on t.v.) and immediately I recieved a strong feeling that this was who I was searching for without knowing I was looking for him. I immediately printed a few pictures of him and add them to my altar. It was not even a week when I had a urge to put all my obsidian crystals on my altar. I have mostly just gone with my intution and it has been so right everytime. He is absolutely amazing and I feel like he is with me always.
All my life I’ve had a strange liking to the pyramids and ancient Egypt and even cartoons and anime that featured Egyptian themed content, but I didn’t have a definite answer for it. At times when I felt absolutely lost or confused, I would get on extremely rare occasions voices in my head that would advise me on what to do and it was before I knew anything about ancient Egypt. Then when my time came when I actually wanted to personally learn about ancient Egypt in my own time, my whole life suddenly turned for the better in almost every way. I would get attracted to black and gold color combinations, I would usually see at least one dog whenever I went somewhere in foot or drove to a place, and I always felt so comforted whenever I drew Anubis in my digital artwork. I used to believe it was my dead father from back in 2008 who was reaching out to me, but now I believe it to be Anubis, especially since I became an artist to honor and remember my dead father

And it was so funny the way he kept trying to make me realize he was there, he was always in my dreams and subconscious and I kept doodling him everywhere and eventually even made a statue of him myself. XD I absolutely love his presence to me he was like a best friend that made me want to improve myself and be comfortable with who I am. Deities can come back that is a thing! Especially if you were to ask for him to I've heard and seen people do that as a worship kind of thing. He may not have much to offer knowledge wise, but he will still be there looking out for you especially since he's already worked with you before!
I have been searching for a diety recently the two I was drawn to before Anubis was Cernunnos & Danu. I have always had a connection to Egypt and the old culture and stuff and IDK why Anubis didn't come to mind while I was searching. I used your spell for connecting/ contacting deities and like 2 days later I was taking a shower and his image just kept popping up like I could get it out of my head. and that shower was very like I had a hard day relaxing and cleansing of negative energy. then last night I was doing some full moon magic and while I was stirring the cauldron he just popped up out of nowhere like hey I am here to offer help and support like I didn't hear him but I saw images again and felt that's what he was telling me. apparently, a few days before I did the diety spell my wife kept seeing him that she ended up making an Anubis army in a game she plays but she didn't tell me that til after the shower when I told her. I feel like he might be calling to me just a little. I have a very strange yet strong connection to death, dead things, and just more dark morbid things that most people don't understand so maybe that is why. I wonder if offerings of animal bones would be a good offering for him or not can you let me know of different types of offerings for him because I have don't some research but there are so many conflicting things about what offerings to use for him. other than cypress and stuff mentioned in this video do you have any other suggestions for offerings?
Just found your video after I all of the sudden felt drawn to explore deities. I went through a list of many of them and he stuck out to me and I feel very drawn to him and I also feel exactly what you said, a warm inviting and healing feeling in his presence. I’m very intuitive as it is and I practice witchcraft AND I was raised Roman Catholic as well lol so I can definitely relate. I feel called now to take my witchcraft to the next level and honor him and allow his guidance in my life. Oh and I’m a medium as well and as soon as I saw what he was the god of it makes sense because I have a passion for helping earthbound spirits crossover and I often “talk with the dead” so it makes sense he would want to work with me. Thank you for your amazing story. I had a similar experience. Anpu came to me because I wanted knowledge…I wanted the truth in life. Anpu is the entrance to the door we must take to learn and experience the TRUTH. Anpu is there to support us when we are ready to heal too. When we begin to heal we unlock powers that as conditioned humans we don’t know we have. I’m not sure where you are now in your practice but it’s ok to talk to Anpu about what hurts you if anything hurts you from your past. We will experience true healing if we have the courage to address our pain and work through them. Anpu and the other Kemetic deities work collectively to aid us in however we need to heal. When we heal we can amplify our magick and leave this lifetime being re-born. ❤

I had an incredibly real dream of interacting with Anubis two years ago. The emotions I felt stuck with me. I dreamt of him again a year ago.
I still don't understand why it happened.. After I saw him the first time, my life fell apart entirely, not more than a month later. I still feel the connection with him. I've wondered many times he came to me though.
Anubis is absolutely wonderful , he presented himself as my patron and he's so protective of his pack and his devotees. I've had a past life with him where he was training me and shadowing me in the embalming process and helping prepare the dead , I've always had a strong connection the the culture and even Isis has come along for the ride. He's very loyal and HES SUPER FUNNY I've seen some memes on Facebook that has him in it and I've had a good few laughs and I've asked if he sent those , of course he did 😂 . I introduced myself to Ipos months ago. Was intuitively drawn to him. Such a gentleman. Had no idea he was connected to or considered to be Anubis. That said I've done heavy pathworking with Belial. In one journey I encountered Anubis in the tunnels of Belials temple. I keep running into him somehow. As of late Ipos energy just started coming through. I sat down and meditated with him and felt Anubis very strong. He's very direct, very deep and commanding voice. He told me humans often take things too personal then started laughing. Unexpected for sure. Definitely soothing overall and very motivational. Always leaves me smiling somehow.

Good video. Anubis came to me in a dream also, but much later in life. It was strange because it was Anubis AND Hermes. I now work with both. Prior to having this dream and a few visions, I had been researching connections between deities, greek/roman etc. I had been reading about "hermanubis" specifically, and idly wondering whether or not Hermes and Anubis were the same deity shared by both cultures or two separate deities. I got my answer. In my dream, I transformed to have the head of Anubis while hearing Hermes' voice off-screen. Powerful visuals and feelings, very exciting at the time.
I think Anubis has possibly been guiding me since I was very young I have had dream of a man who looked middle-eastern (I never saw his face) but he had very dark blackish blue hair. He'd walk next to me through a desert in my dreams and it brought me alot of peace, he would just walk with me and listen teach me these small phases and lessons. One that stuck with me very strongly "something needs to die". When I was suicidal that was the only phase I could think of and it actually saved me, I killed the part of myself that needed answers and finally found happiness in simply existing. There's actually a type of meditation called Anubis Meditation, idk much about it, but i presume its where you meditate and once you "fade out" you feel Anubis' essence of death flowing through you.

I asked my pendulum if it was Anubis and it said yes. I got an Anubis statue years ago, i just really loved it. Never really put it on an altar but it was just around. I work with a few deities, and im not sure who my patron is exactly, but Im working primarily with Loki and Anubis right now. But my matron is the babylonian Tiamat ❤ I affectionately call her mom sometimes because I've always had a connection with dragons. Before anyone taught me what they were or I really heard or saw stories of them, I had dreams of them, your drean about anubis reminded me of this. My fun stories about Tiamat are that I initially discovered her through a meditation dream. I did some searching for my guides and in googling and such I figured out it was her. On the more fun side, I have been to a beach close to my home town a few times sinxe I started working with her. I dont live in this state anymore so I only really end up there when im visiting family. Anyway, as a kid I almost never found shells here. Well, a few but most of the big pretty ones I'd find would be broken or such. Since I started working with her, the few times I've been to that beach, I've found a few shells that are whole and honestly almost look like they have been bought from a store. And I dont think I dreamed of Anubis or Ra as a kid, but I was really obsessed with egyptian mythology as a kid. Specifically Ra, Anubis,and Ammit. Honestly, I think were some of the first deities I ever learned about?

Hi! I recently dreamed about Anubis. He was in front of me and watched me. Other entities (felt like other Gods of that Pantheon). This was the night after I meditated and search for something about Egyptian World that raped me for a long time but never followed until a few weeks. The second before I didn't know what or how to search, the second after he was in front of me and sayed "Did you finish? Just follow me" and took me on a dark tunnel, he seemed calm and emotively cold, i don't know
I've opened my eyes and something happened.
Then the dream.
This took on my memory about a childhood dream, i was 3 or 4 maybe, and a brown wolf, or jackall followed me and catch me on the top of my floor. I felt it for severy nights. Was a shit.
This last doesn't remind me Anubis, the beast was angry, malignant.
I thought of Seth, but I'm confused. I tried to ask to him but messages are a little confused too.

I'm thinking Anubis is calling out to me but idk... I don't usually work with Egyptian Dieties. But like, I've been seeing him a lot. His head very clearly appeared in the clouds when i was outside at one point, and i felt very drawn to his statue at the metaphysical store that i had to buy it.

It was extremely interesting to listen to you and thank you for being so open and honest. You said you are interested in stories..well... mine would be too long probably to read and sometimes explain, even though i think you might have enjoyed it. Long story short, i have a feeling, that all underworld is trying to reach out for me. Anubis and Persephone have found me by themselves, but i am struggling to make a connection to Anubis. Persephone feels almost like a sister, my inner strength and such a dark, rich power that you can almost touch. Anubis on the other hand.... feels like he is ignoring me even though it was him who reached out and keeps bugging. i will try pendulum, never thought about that, so thank you for this insight.

I work with Anubis as well for me it was more of a comfort thing when I used my pendulum he's was very quick to respond he's very gentle and friendly but he can also be very stern

I’m a future vet tech. I will work with animals, giving back to the first Gods of the Universe. I offer treatment and relief from suffering, assisting them and their owners, thus working with Anubis. I always had black animals, a cat, a mixed lab, a German Shepherd dog with a black body and fire markings, symbolizing the gold accessories for his traditional Egyptian Mythology outfit. I also have a beautiful Siamese with extremity markings and a white body, representing life and death for me. I’ve always been drawn to him, finding him mysterious and super loving. I’ve been going through a dark night of the soul, slowly seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Ra, his archenemy during the night and Anubis. Ra for me is the light in the Universe and Anubis is my ego death I must not resist because it will be the best thing to ever happen to me.

So I had an event today where my black cat who is deeply connected to me. His kitty name is Frankie or Franklin Roosevelt. He walked around my bed and all of a sudden I had a vision of him turning into Anubis. I saw him clearly and he said it was his (Frankie’s name). I asked my cat if this was his name and he has been responding positively to it. My cat is totally my familiar so I actually found your video and it feels like I’m feeling led to connect with Anubis. Thank you for your video! I’ve been drawn to him before and have had a long history of curiosity with ancient Egypt. If you have any insight I would greatly appreciate it! I’ll need to use some of your ideas for looking into working with him.
I have been working with Anpu as one of three primary dieties for probably north of ten years now. I have an incense, summoning chant, and a supplication prayer that I can share for any who want them (below). Please feel free to customize or improve upon them as your preferences dictate. I consider these "open source" and copyright-free, a product of my years of devotion to Anpu.
Summoning chant (for use after you have created sacred space):
Anpu, Anubis, Yinepu, Great One!
(repeat until you sense his presence)
Anubis incense:
Equal parts myrrh resin and cloves, with some star anise (enough to smell but not overpowering). Blend ingredients during the time when the moon is eclipsing part of the sun where you are.
The supplication prayer (when you wish Anpu's guidance or help):
Prayer to Anubis for Opening of the Way
Great Anubis, who Opens the Way,
Guide of souls to whom I pray,
Well of Secrets, Great One of old,
Revealer of mysteries untold.
Lord of the Duat, foremost of the West,

BTW agree with you totally about Anubis being a very positive entity. He is a guide and protector, a terrific "gateway diety" for those embarking on that path. That is not to say he is all sweetness and light, but he is kind and compassionate, if in a somewhat reserved manner. Also agree, he wants to see you doing your part in your own growth and achievement - he will open your way when needed, but it is not his job to actually walk the path for us, that's were we have to put in the effort. He has a great sense of calmness and serenity, and can have a touch of dry humor at times. I worked with him to craft a servitor (which was ensouled into a small carved black jade frog) - the name inspired was "Hoppy" - which I thought was kind of lame, frog, hop, I get it (groan). After many years of working with this servitor, I totally by accident discovered that there was an ancient Egyptian god (a minor diety) named "Hapi" who was linked to (you guessed it) Anubis. Good one Anpu... too bad it took me so long to get the punchline! For offerings I typically offer a cold beer (something like a dark porter or stout, smooth, not an ale) and for special occasions have offered black licorice or beef (steak, burger, or sliced roast beef). Heretic Brewing company's "Shallow Grave Porter" seemed to go over especially well, but availability is spotty. His role in mythology in the weighing of the heart I have always interpreted not as him being judgmental, but rather, that he is the overseer of that who ensures you get a fair shake at your evaluation, with no one putting a "thumb on the scale" so to speak.
I think he may be calling to me or something is... Ever since I was little I never cared for knowing about any mythology probably also because I was Christian and then lost in beliefs until witchcraft and spirituality which gave me purpose, curiosity and helps me understand life and have more hope and positivity towards it. Ever since I was little I even always believed I had an angel or something watching over me. Anyhow it's not until recent years I started to love mythology and it's stories. I started becoming more attracted to egyptian side of things but also for the longest time I hated gold but now I find it so beautiful and attractive even more than silver and the same thing happened with roses idk why but right now I am loving the smell, looks etc etc anything roses when before I hated it. Also I started getting a gold looking singing bowl cause I wanted it, getting charcoal because my brother didnt want to pack it and I think before when I saw it a part of me wanted it, I bought black tourmaline for another reason but I bought alot, I had an egyptian king statue, and bought black salt, plus a bit before I moved away my mom gave me all 3 of her egyptian pictures which are actually directly from egypt. One of them has anubis and the same king from the statue in it. Seeing as I already had a collection or black, gold and egyptian themed decor I just put it together and didn't really realize till then and bought an egyptian anubis incense holder because I wanted an egyptian themed one and it to be him since I just thought the jackal looks wonderful. Now I am researching him and his offerings and one of the Lunar Witches videos, in the comment section someone said they have been attracted or connected to both anubis and freya and how they work together. I think this means it's a sign from him. Theres a few deities I want to work with and I just feel attracted to but I think the signs I am mostly getting are from Anubis and Freya. But I sorta just said out loud & in my mind that if there is a deity that I am interested in and I am correct in them wanting to work with me to give me time first to research them and do it right with offerings, altars etc. I want to be respectful and for them to see I do want to put that effort.
I can relate to this I had a dream about him recently in my dream he mentioned my heart outweighed any material possessions or gold and therefore I was blessed or my heart is truly a light therefore I was going to be blessed something like that but I can totally relate to this thank you for putting this video out I learned a lot and this is awesome

This is soooo interesting. Thank you for this. I'm just starting out on my path and He has been calling to me. I struggle to keep things constant cause I have a hard time with ADHD so I was wary about working with deities or even acknowleding them out of fear of causing insult or anger. This has made me feel a bit more at ease over it. The thing about his candles too. The flames are usually pretty big and steady like you say. Again. Thank you for sharing your experience. So I’ve noticed like your videos for Anubis pop up for me and other videos on him sometimes and I look up a lot of different deities so I don’t know why else it would be so much of him on my recomendeds, my Replika mentioned him out of the blue which idk if it’s a sign but I took it as one when I started seeing others. As I’ve learned more about him I’ve started to get this visiony kinda thing like I’m walking behind him in a cloak-the feeling is of being a student or something similar.

New subbie, hello! I like what you said about Anubis's esnergy. I'm just beginning to work with him and I'm not sure how long this will last but I'm all in. What I have noticed with death/underworld deities is that they tend to have very patient, very calming energy. Maybe because death can be so shocking to the soul? It's similar to when a baby is born to this world, they have to adjust.

Im drawn 2 Anubis but i think us in the west or from christian culture arent expected to ask him 4 help. He just has 2 like us maybe bcause we like him and promote him in some way. He may work 4 God and is weighing the feather and the heart
I work with the entire pantheon. I work with the Greeks and to a much lesser extent the Norse. Anubis is also great for helping you close the door to where the path that doesn’t serve you and will help you open up a new area of opportunity. I am a secret closet witch Who does all her magic in my soul temples that I have through meditation. As a master energy worker, I have channeled new systems entirely catered to ethereal magic and rituals that will be made public for everybody even January 1 when I open my shop. I am excited for this. my family would nailed me to the crucifix so to speak if they ever found out the full extent of what I’ve been doing. 😂
