Claire Rewcastle-Brown should get a Nobel Prize for investigative journalism. She pulled off what everyone thought was impossible. She broke through that infamous wall of silence and struggled through that cesspool of obfuscation to get to the precious truth. Claire Rewcastle-Brown is a hero of the working class everywhere.

The only reason why this case saw the light of day is because it was exposed by foreigners and caught the attention of the world media and people like Xavier and Claire who were brave enough to expose fraud and corruption.
The evidence is mindboggling. The real question is...will Najib be pardoned by the Agong? If that happens..what is the point of having law and jurisprudence. It will be another banana Republic in a few years.

As an expat living Malaysia for over 12 years
Ì see an incredible amount of ìneqaulity, injustice and lack of the distrbution of the countrey's wealth and resources.
A country that has developed at a snails pace.
A country where the rich have become incredibly rich and the poor are left with the crumbs.
Corruption is rife throught the ruling elite, the rich who are tied in and ofcourse anyone with a uniform (civil services and the police)
Which i have personally experienced on several occasion.
Najib ofcourse took it to the higher level but you have to admit he could not have done this on his own and not by exploiting a current corrupt system.
Lets hope this is the begining of the end of corrupt practices and a fairer distribution of wealth.

Apart from 1 MDB, Malaysia has 3 other unmentioned problems affecting it's economy. These need to be seen as a whole. They are
Global Anti Palm Oil movement, Global Low petrol price and almost 10 million foreign workers in Malaysia who send millions of ringgit overseas daily.
Seen as a whole, the new government or any future government need to recover from these 3 problems. Never in the history of Malaysia has these 3 combination of problems existed simultaneously. There is a difference between economic slowdown and economic gangrene. With these 3 issues, Malaysia is sailing in uncharted territory now. What are its plans for economic resurrection when there's so much of financial bleed? Affirmative action needs to be redone. Pointing fingers and rhetorics need to stop.

There is much to do in Malaysia. Sadly, even after all this exposé many Malays cannot accept non-Malays to lead or turn things around. The race and religion card indoctrinated into Malays through Najib's regime will be a thorn always. It might take generations to overcome this and hopefully they won't be so fanatical with changes in the number of hours reduced on Religious Studies by Tun Mahathir. Good save Malaysia.
