The gameplay montage to rock music you put together was 1 million times more exciting and engaging than anything Bioware and EA did to market this heap. You made the game look like actual fun.
Take a look at Smudboy's videos on why he boycotts ME Andromeda. One of the reasons he gives is how Bioware Montreal's work culture is horrible. How there's so much backstabbing that it mirrors an all-girls' high school. Personal agendas run wild, there's little semblance of organization, and anyone who tries to fix things gets singled out as a troublemaker. Couple that with an SJW obsession with inclusion over gameplay concerns, and you have the perfect recipe for a disaster. At least Bioware Austin seems to have some semblance of competency, having made SWTOR somewhat profitable.
Every time someone brings up the "My face is tired" line, I have to wonder: Was the voice acting budget so small that they had to include the outtake reel into the main game? It sounds like the VA was whining about having to emote for the facial capture software one too many times..

I remember when I commented on one of the combat trailer videos, and I got massive (see what I did there) shit from fanboys for writing that the role playing from the game was gone. They replaced it with jet packs, and having and all encompassing "Jesus" class in which you can switch out any and all powers. That wasn't enough though, because they then took away the ability to give your squad commands, killing any strategic combat element and the combo system with it. Why have a combo system, when you can't coordinate anything with your squad mates? Because Bioware is full of idiots, and they killed a franchise with a winning formula by changing or taking away most of the role-playing elements the series is know for.
Isn't this just standard EA MO? Buy a company, run its top franchises into the ground over the course of a few installments, then retire the IP entirely when it stops being profitable. Then find another beloved company to acquire and repeat.

And on the odd occasion when it does glitch or something it's just funny and completely forgiveable, particularly given the high quality of the game (like Skyrim). I completed the game 100% and loved every minute of the hundreds of hours spent playing it! When does she smile weirdly when talking about ther father dying? I hear a lot of people vehemently complaining about the facial animation, but you know you can make your own Ryder, right? If you don't like the default one? I made my own Ryder and she looked great throughout. I guess there is the occasional funny expression but only a few times in the entire game and for me if was just more awkward and amusing than anger inducing and didn't detract from the rest of the game. Overall the facial animation were great. The graphics in this game are incredible! All the different worlds and up in space are particulaly beautiful not to mention vast and spectacularly impressive! One of the best games I've ever played. It has refuelled my interest in space, sci-fi and the Mass Effect universe. Superb experience and one of the most immersive and fun times I've had in ages
Yeah you're right, Mass Effect is learning from Fallout by making a hugely fun and immersive world. I had no bugs or glitches. The game was incredible and don't regret any of the hundreds of hours I put into it. One of the best games I've played in a long time. Maybe people just aren't giving it a chance and just gave up playing it after 5 minutes after being influenced by some superbly dumb bad reviews lol.

This is true, but against all odds, ME2 still managed to be an amazing game. While it lost the unique identity ME1 had, it did almost everything else better than ME1. The combat remains the best in the series.

Honest to God, I was replaying this game for some reviews I have coming up on a FB page of mine(I'd do it on my own website, but I have no money) and I encountered a mission in this game that made me straight-up delete the game. Up until such a pint, I'd have a jolly good time laughing my ass off as how badly and weirdly written some missions were in this game, then I landed on Eos and got into a Kett facility. I repeatedly threw myself at them, and then came one of the more strategic attempts at this. Over the course of the fight, I had ducked repeatedly into a wall that was acting as a safeguard while my allies were either getting killed of bumble-fucking about, only to find my Ryder stuck because he was incapable of circumnavigating a pile of small rocks at his feet. For one full minute, I'd been trying to get myself unstuck, which didn't work until I used that shield biotic power to get free. Not five second later til my character's full health and shields evaporated like anybody threatening the power of Unions. And then came what happened when I got in the damn thing. When I got in after putting my teeth, nose and forehead to the grindstone, I found a ring big enough to hold Moviebob aloft, with two consoles: one where I entered, and one in the center and only accessible from running about this place. While under gunfire from repeating ass loads of Kett that literally had me screaming "WHERE THE FUCK ARE ALL THESE BASTARDS COMING FROM!?!" i managed to get to the other side with both terminals deactivated and all shields down. Then I promptly died to enemies I hadn't seen prior. When I came back, I found myself at what was my previous death site, with both Terminals alleviated of tampering , and everything on red alert. Seriously, either save my progress and start me off from where I die or start me off from a few minutes prior. Don't wave a middle finger in my face while splitting the difference
I almost had a similar situation with Resident Evil 6. I was at the very end of the Leon campaign of the game and I had to climb up a rope to get to the top of a building. I followed all the prompts it was giving me but once I got to a certain point Leon fell all the way back to the start. I tried again and same thing, then again, then again, AND AGAIN. I had no clue what I was doing wrong, I pressed each trigger it told me to when it told me and I managed to successfully climb up to that point every time, then suddenly I fall right back to the start. It was so damn infuriating that I was close to shoving my controller through the screen and I just rage quit and stopped playing. If it wasn't for the fact that I picked it back up and suddenly managed to get past this point, I would have never finished that campaign. I still don't know what the issue was, the second attempt I held the triggers in and that may be the solution but I didn't do that the first time and still managed to climb up until that one point so I am still clueless on what I kept fucking up.
For some reason, the thing I disliked the most about the game was how defenceless the Nomad was. The Mako could hold its own and punch into a Fortress atop a Mountain with its abilities and weapons. When you have a Nomad against a group of enemies it's better to get OUT of the nomad. The fuck?
I liked the first hour of Andromeda it reminded me of star trek Voyager and meeting that first alien species i was all on board. Game was deleted and thrown into the trash a day later
I actually decided to give this game a shot. I played it for 20 minutes, put it down and found something actually fun to do. Haven't bothered with it since. Was it a waste of money? You bet. Did I learn from it? Absolutely. Haven't touched BioWare since.

This is true, but against all odds, ME2 still managed to be an amazing game. While it lost the unique identity ME1 had, it did almost everything else better than ME1. The combat remains the best in the series.

The voice acting is some of the worst I've ever heard in a AAA game series. The most seasoned (and only one I recognize) is Clancy Brown and he's barely in the fucking game

I highly recommend these guys,they're like 80's Bon Jovi,from the ''Slippery When Wet''-era,but with a guitarist who's actually good and does Jake E.Lee-style riffing and soloing.The singer,Eric Martenson has also a side-project,with Jeff Scott Soto(Yngwie Malmsteen,Axel Rudi Pell,Talisman),called W.E.T. which is also cool 80's hardrock.
I have to admit, the opening of this review is a better sales pitch than any trailer...

Mass Effect Andromeda was responsible for me using a Futurama meme for the first time... "I don't wanna live in this world anymore". EA has been time and time again awarded the fabulous prize of WORST FUCKING COMPANY IN THE WORLD. I've no idea what happened to the EA that made Medal of Honor Frontline and Need for Speed Most Wanted back in the day... I miss that company.

Mass Effect died under EA RIP. Andromeda went down in history and Mass Effect ..is history. Following Mass Effect 3, nobody at EA thought to do better?. Androneda was a complete mess.

Absence of clear good/evil morality system was a major fuck up. Without it isn't any replay value to it.
Honest to God, I was replaying this game for some reviews I have coming up on a FB page of mine(I'd do it on my own website, but I have no money) and I encountered a mission in this game that made me straight-up delete the game.
Up until such a pint, I'd have a jolly good time laughing my ass off as how badly and weirdly written some missions were in this game, then I landed on Eos and got into a Kett facility. I repeatedly threw myself at them, and then came one of the more strategic attempts at this. Over the course of the fight, I had ducked repeatedly into a wall that was acting as a safeguard while my allies were either getting killed of bumble-fucking about, only to find my Ryder stuck because he was incapable of circumnavigating a pile of small rocks at his feet. For one full minute, I'd been trying to get myself unstuck, which didn't work until I used that shield biotic power to get free. Not five second later til my character's full health and shields evaporated like anybody threatening the power of Unions. And then came what happened when I got in the damn thing.
When I got in after putting my teeth, nose and forehead to the grindstone, I found a ring big enough to hold Moviebob aloft, with two consoles: one where I entered, and one in the center and only accessible from running about this place. While under gunfire from repeating ass loads of Kett that literally had me screaming "WHERE THE FUCK ARE ALL THESE BASTARDS COMING FROM!?!" i managed to get to the other side with both terminals deactivated and all shields down. Then I promptly died to enemies I hadn't seen prior. When I came back, I found myself at what was my previous death site, with both Terminals alleviated of tampering , and everything on red alert. Seriously, either save my progress and start me off from where I die or start me off from a few minutes prior. Don't wave a middle finger in my face while splitting the difference
I almost had a similar situation with Resident Evil 6. I was at the very end of the Leon campaign of the game and I had to climb up a rope to get to the top of a building. I followed all the prompts it was giving me but once I got to a certain point Leon fell all the way back to the start. I tried again and same thing, then again, then again, AND AGAIN. I had no clue what I was doing wrong, I pressed each trigger it told me to when it told me and I managed to successfully climb up to that point every time, then suddenly I fall right back to the start. It was so damn infuriating that I was close to shoving my controller through the screen and I just rage quit and stopped playing. If it wasn't for the fact that I picked it back up and suddenly managed to get past this point, I would have never finished that campaign. I still don't know what the issue was, the second attempt I held the triggers in and that may be the solution but I didn't do that the first time and still managed to climb up until that one point so I am still clueless on what I kept fucking up.

For some reason, the thing I disliked the most about the game was how defenceless the Nomad was. The Mako could hold its own and punch into a Fortress atop a Mountain with its abilities and weapons. When you have a Nomad against a group of enemies it's better to get OUT of the nomad. The fuck?

I actually decided to give this game a shot. I played it for 20 minutes, put it down and found something actually fun to do. Haven't bothered with it since. Was it a waste of money? You bet. Did I learn from it? Absolutely. Haven't touched BioWare since.
