The reason International DJs don't use them is cuz they either had pre made sets. Or they have enough music for two or three sets on One USB. Because they'll tour for 6 months on one damn set lazy as s***! I digress thank you for making the video it was helpful because I plan on doing this very soon!
Hey There , thanks for the great video ! it was what i was searching for, but theres a question left: "can i like have all my folders copied to a external drive, than analyse the data with recordbox and store the collection information on that same drive, and than browse on the CDJs by FOLDER + see the KEY/BPM informations too ?"..... i just dont want to creat playlists just to mimic my FOLDER Structure...
After fail trying with usb on my xdj rx2 and returned the machine I thank the same idea. I, m waiting for the XZ. But in general, people sell that idea connect a USB and load the song but the idea is connect your music using a USB port

Hi can I ask you are you happy with your pioneer CDJs nxs2 & DJM 900nxs2 or can you see yourself changing to the denon players ? I am a big pioneer fan but everyone is saying that the denon players better what is your opinion please. Thank you Ritchie

I was wondering if an external hard drive will work on my XDJ RX2 & stumbled across your video. I'm glad I did. Thanks. For the record, my XDJ RX2 does not want to play from my external hard drive. Why? I have no idea.....unless its because I have not analyzed any of the tracks in rekoddbox....just a guess.

I just bought one passport and my cdj doesn't recognize it I don't know if I have to format it first before load files on it

Fat32 format for cdj apparantly
The SSD Drive is much faster. It’s pretty much instant on 4 CDJs. No lagging.

format ur harddisk in fat32 format and ur hardisk will work in xdj rx2
