i interpreted the end as just them looking back on where they started and how far they've come! bc in sugarcoat, she was a dancer busking for money and what not and irl natty often mentions her 10 or 11 yrs as a trainee in the kpop industry just wanting a chance to debut

So about the ending part, there has been hints throughout this comeback that Kiss of Life is coming back in October with either a full or mini album called R.E.M! R.E.M is basically the stage of sleep where dreams occur. There are theories that Midas Touch and Sticky are actually not “real” in the kiof universe, but actually dreams which is why they are the only music videos that don’t outright connect to the story where we left off. On top of that, there’s been hints through both album scavenger hunts and in the background of music videos since their debut, the title track is going to be called “Doppleganger” which would explain why Sugarcoat Natty appears here.
Ofc all of this is just theories by kissies! But has been heavily hinted at throughout their whole debut!
Can I ask where you get this info? A lot of people talk about R.E.M but I never heard of it.
