This is my tribute to the amazing film score composer, James Horner, who passed away in a plane crash two days ago at the age of 61. Horner is one of my favorite film score composers and his music is amazing. I chose just three of my favorite movie themes written by him and put them together into a little medley.

Braveheart and Legends of the Fall are two of my favorite movies ever and their soundtracks are absolutely incredible. This was amazing and James would be so proud of this. Really well done!

I like watching the bow move across the strings, because it's a whole different skill set, to know how much bow will be required, which direction it must travel, how many violin 🎻 strings must be in contact. It's an area rarely focused on when the musician plays, but an exquisite way to show how difficult it is to play stringed instruments.

James Horner is the very best of the BEST. There are many great composers out there like James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams, Alan Silvestri and many more. But my favorite will always be James Horner. Thank you so much for putting together this simple yet touching medley to pay him tribute. Great work! Keep it up!!!!

Legends of the Fall is one of my favorite film scores by Horner. I was saddened to hear about his death last year. Your tribute and playing is beautiful. Well done :)
James is A good composer because we all miss, and it make me cry for James pass away since 2015, in a plane crash, never survived.

Thank you Amy Lee. The Maestro would be truly touched by your performance. I was so lucky to have met him in 1996 when he was scoring THE SPITFIRE GRILL. He invited me "in for a listen" as he put it. He was truly wonderful! Thank you for this heartfelt tribute to him!

I had no idea he also did Braveheart and Titanic. I just know his work with Legend of the Falls and that's my favorite music (The Ludlows). It's no wonder Braveheart and Titanic both have fantastic music too. Horner is a legend.
