The backing vocals are clearly taped, as is also evident when you see vids of their club gigs. Nothing wrong there., though, since Sabine is clearly singing for real. I'm a little unsure if the guitars and drums are recorded or for real. It's a pleasure to see a genuine singer singing in front of people instead of these pop stars who so obviously are lip-synching the whole show.
LyricalXenovia Yes, you're right. I usually listen to the 8 minute version which has a break just before that line, not the short version which doesn't, so I missed it. She missed the first word, which is "Don't", and took it from the second world. Actually, that's welcome, because that's what happens during an actual performance, as opposed to lip-synched. Incidentally, I know the background vocals are taped, they do it openly in the club videos. I have no problem with that, you can't expect a band to take a bunch of backup singers with them on tour. But I'm not sure-in the club vids the guitars sound real, but here the sound is kind of muffled. I'm almost suspecting the guitar and drums are not live, but I don't know. How does it sound to you?
