RAW: Skimboarding small, PERFECT waves with Austin Keen and Blair Conklin

- It is not often I have the chance to skim with Austin outside of a skimboarding contest, but this month we ended up at the same place at the same time for two incredible sessions of free skimming. Thanks to Adam Hayward, who runs the CZcams channel @thisismov , for providing all the footage shot from land that I used in this edit. Both of our channels will be collaborating on the edits that we put together from our recent trip to Mexico. We shall be posting those videos some time net week and couldn't be more excited share them with you all. Additional skimboarders in this edit are Morgan Just and Paddy Mack.

This vid is a perfect way to explain how to choose your wave - its crazy because many might say the wave chooses you (XD) but you guys really show how apply your own forces on a turbulent environment! I was pretty stoked to see Blair, casually jog into a clean step for nice rip into a nugget! Makes this old man think he might could do something!! (XD)

Who do you think is the fastest-running skimboarder? I’ve seen Gerardo Valencia skim in person and it’s crazy how fast he is.

Aren't you thankful to be a skimmer/surfer in SoCal? I love Hawaii and Fiji, anywhere else that is beautiful but there is no place like our home beaches🤙

How do you go so far out and catch a wave before sinking because whenever I go out to catch a wave I sink before I get there
