    Thank you so much. I wish I knew why it's called Viking way.

      hi Joan think because the viking way starts on the banks of the humber and where the vikings would have landed way back when and alot of the villages you pass end in the word by which is old norse names for villages so they called it the VIKING WAY, anyways thanks for watching and commenting nigel

    A place and area I do not think we have ever been to before. Lovely weather for the time of year, although, it sounded blustery. I love looking in old churches and that was a great example, the stained glass windows always fascinate me. Looked real boggy in parts but always nice to seeing planks you can walk on and helped to keep looking at the great scenery. Looks like a nice trail you got planed there Nigel, cheers Alan

    Well, I'm on board for another series Nigel. And glad to be here. Lovely rolling countryside. Reminded me of so many walks me and Paul did together. I imagine them deer will be surrounded by veg sometime soon. They are beautiful - I mean the live ones. Good going. I'll be back. Mark

    Very nice scenery. Can I ask if there are any deep valleys in the Wolds? Where small streams or rivers run?

    • @nigelharness9032
      @nigelharness9032  Před rokem +1

      Hi there Rob, Hubbards hills near Louth springs to mind which i walked through on part 6 of this series, Biscathorpe has the river Bain running through which is a nice area but not really to deep valley, thanks for taking a look and enjoy your weekend cheers nigel

    Hello Nigel, just discovered your channel. Only managed to watch one of your videos so far but that was enough for me to subscribe. Excellent stuff. I normally like to combine walking and stealth camping. That's a bit tricky on the Wolds. When not in lockdown I like get off to the Dark Peak where discreet pitching is a doddle once you are familiar with the area. Looking forward to watching more. I'm especially interested in the Grand Tour of the Wolds.
    ATB. Take care.
