I was born in 1955 and I grew up as a boy in the 60's listening to Dionne Warwick. As a Black man, I have always loved and enjoyed her music while some Black radio stations wouldn't play her music saying it was too white. I thought this was ridiculous because Dionne's music touch many people around the world regardless of race or skin color. I found a Christmas C.D. by Dionne Warwick years ago at Circuit City long before they went out of business. As we approach Christmas 2023, I am playing and listening to Dionne's Christmas C.D. on December 19, 2023. I am so glad Ms. Warwick is still in the land of the living and getting the well deserve recognition she deserves. God bless you, Dionne Warwick.🙏🙏

My late husband was diagnosed HIV positive in 1987, two years after That's What Friends Are For was released and I'm very thankful for the money it raised for AIDS research as well as creating greater awareness of the disease. Because of that awareness, Tim and I were able to have a loving relationship without fear, knowing how to keep me HIV negative. So thank you and congratulations, Ms. Warwick!

I grew up listening to her beautiful voice being played on my parents record player or radio. She was a favorite singer of my fathers. I am happy that this living legend is being honored by TKCH. I grew up in the 1960's and was raised on British Invasion rock 'n roll. Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc. But Dionne had a string of hits during this time that were just so great it was amazing. Just one after another. I always anticipated her next record and still listen to her.

She is legendary,I grow up listening to Dionne Warwick. I love everything she sung her and the real Queen of soul Aretha Franklin. There have never others to compare them too.
