any time anything is based out of yuba or the dwr post a survey and or open discussion it always comes back around the the fact that anglers want pike in utah big time. we have enough stocked trout. but the dwr just keeps removing pike and adding trout.

Wish they'd leave the pike alone! One of the very few great pike fisheries around and they're trying to get rid of them for more freaking trout 😡

yes! please lets add one more trout lake to the already 75000 utah has. Pike are so awesome and so sought after by people in utah and they want to get rid of them all.

Honestly I would agree, because my wife and I LOVE catching the pike and they taste so so so GOOD. But they pleaded with everyone for years to catch and KEEP pike as they ate themselves out of house and home. We as anglers didn't help the DNR manage the lake, and we as anglers let the pike decline. That's my thoughts after several conversations with our DNR biologists at Yuba.

Honestly, who cares if the pike are eating the rainbows and perch? Nobody goes there to fish for those. Yuba had a awesome pike population and the DWR ruined it. They were free!!!!!!!!! Now lets pay to catch the pike to make tiger muskie.

I'm guessing there's no perch left in yuba

One pike with so many nets in the water bad fishery. Imagine me using fly rod it will take many months before hooking a pike. Bad really bad
