  • Check out our extensive demo of the Alvarez AF60CESHB. We put this thing through the ringer, demonstrating it's acoustic sound, the sound of the pickup plugged in directly, and even the sound of it through a PA system to let you hear how it will sound when you take it to a gig.
    The name sounds complicated but this acoustic guitar's simple, clean design and quality features make it a must-have, particularly for people who are planning to spend some time onstage.

    What piece of gear do you have that has a long, convoluted model number?

      @@AlKydaKilla You won't be disappointed! It's a great guitar! Let us know what you think. I hate that we're currently out of stock or we would have loved to sell it to you ourselves!

      MasonMusicRocks all good. I got a military discount at guitar center plus my job gave me a $100 gift card to guitar center.
      I know it’s not. Dreadnaught size but it looks beautiful.

    The finish on mine has one blemish near the cut-out that looks like maybe glue or oil got on the top before the shadow burst layer was sprayed so it's an obviously lighter spot, but it doesn't affect the playability or sound and for a $200 discount I am very happy with my purchase. If only I could say the same about my playing 😂

      Ha! Love it when B-Stock/blemished gear works out well for customers. I have several pedals that have the TINIEST chips in them that I've picked up for steals.

      Definitely a great value. Alvarez squeezes so much in at this price point!

      Actually just strumming around in C, but glad you liked it! C, Em :|| F G :|| with a bunch of random hammer ons and pull offs.

    What guitar makes you loosen the strings to change the battery?? That’s insane 😂

    • @MasonMusicRocks
      @MasonMusicRocks  Před 6 měsíci +1

      It's actually not uncommon depending on how the electronics and battery compartment are designed. Many electronics are mounted in the sound hole so they don't have a cutout in the body for access. So the battery is in a pouch on the inside and you have to loosen the strings in order to get your hand in the hole to get to it. My personal acoustic is actual just like that.

    • @williampierce5579
      @williampierce5579 Před 6 měsíci

      @@MasonMusicRocks does that give it better acoustic qualities then, not having the cutout on the side?

    • @MasonMusicRocks
      @MasonMusicRocks  Před 6 měsíci

      @@williampierce5579 Theoretically yes. Leaving the body intact should improve body resonance but it may be somewhat minimal. But it is one of many considerations made by guitar companies when considering how they want to implement their electronics systems. Pros and cons to both options just like anything in life so neither is necessarily better or worse. Just depends what's important to you.
