You have Eddie hall and don't do 225 bench?!?
That's what im saying!
He did 44 reps
They don't have all day bro
They'll let you know when he's done lol Another video dropping next week on his progress :)
I glad this comment is at the top. Thatâs why I clicked this video is to see him bench.
Over and done. Thank you
Not showing him push two plates is criminal
Honestly I click on this video to see bench press... Im kinda disappointed and kinda not has I had watching him run lol
We would have been here all day watching him max out reps of 225 đ
that was the whole reason I clicked on the video haha
5.73 with pads at his size and strength is terrifying
Eddie must be the only person you can put pads on and make him look smaller đ
Hahaha that's actually hilariously true đđđ
Tyreek hill does too
This comment is too great.
The pads are too narrow for the beast
Dude is 6â3â and he looks tiny compared to the other guys. Crazy.
Ryan shazier is 6â1 đ
@@goosefilms2050 somebody gotta be lyin then
@@Keys_OW obviously that body builder is maybe 5â10 if heâs lucky đ
Jack Crawford is 6'5 so yeah Eddie isn't 6'3.
@@grabo917 Huh well I guess Google is wrong then
Actually quite impressive from Eddie. He moves fast for a big guy.
when did he move fast?
@@pawrestlingchamp that 5 second sprint
They said Bolt had done 4.22 seconds
@@TheOnSec 5 is slow
@@Eli-ey7gw like you and your mother.
@@Eli-ey7gw thatâs decent considering he was in pads that donât fit him well
This shows just how massive nfl players are. Edie is a HUGE guy, and these guys are making him look like an average sized guy
Heâs what 6â3â? I wonder if he could legit play?
Yeah but eddie is stinger then every single nfl player
@@barackobama6965 and slower
@@barackobama6965 He doesn't have the reach. He's very strong, but he doesn't have the wingspan.
The o linemen are even bigger. Some are 6 7 360 lbs
Imagine him as your full back đ
No offense to Eddie, but heâd be a total bust at FB⊠too slow to run, no hands, not nimble enough to block an LB, let alone a DE.
For a big guy who doesn't know a thing about this game , he did very well
Heâs a natural athlete
Eddie Hall and Taysom Hill = double secret weapons
Came here for the bench press
Eddie hall just vibing đ
hes an elite athlete, but he performed several events better than expected.
Nice to see Eddie hall is starting the video with getting .001% hydrated. Science has no answer for what happens when he gets to .002%
Came here to watch Eddie do the 225âs. Leaving sad. đą
He'd still be repping
These guys were fun to watch!
Why did they make him do it in pads tho lol. And I want to see he bench press at 225 lol
He did 52 reps in 2012, probably much more now đ
With pads, of course.
@@dingle37 Nah, he was stronger back then. Heâs retired now. He did 44 reps recently.
NGL I would love to see him do so some serious O-Line or D-Line work
Imagine him as a running back shoving through people
Him on the D line would be biblical đ
@@calummclaughlin7464 Not sure about his pass rush, but run stuffing abilities would be immense lol
@@devin6351 yeah ur not bowling him over any time soon lol.
Lol Heâs small compared to nfl lineman
i like how hes standing literally straight up on those bags. BEND YA KNEES BIG FELLA
Hahahahahahaha matey at the beginning asking Eddie hall âyou strong?â You alright fella
Wow !!! You killed it !!! Really impressive speed and agility !!! But those pads looked really uncomfortable !!!!!
this is a funny video conceptđ
Eddie hall looks like a regular size dude in this video
this is so entertaining đ€Ł
400lbs 40 yard time 5.73 thatâs exceptional
Impressive 40 out of The Beast!
As a Yank and former football fan, this is pretty impressive, I gotta say
He looks very small next to these two guys... but he's 1.90 meters tall!! (6'3") đ€Ż
Yea welcome to the freaks of nature called NFL players
No heâs not bc Ryan shakier the nfl player in the video is 6â1.
Shazier
@@goosefilms2050 Ryan Shazier isn't in the video?
@@MeloTheFellow bro itâs literally stated in the beginning of video that he is. Heâs the bald dude đ
In another life Eddy Hall is the biggest nightmare of a nose tackle that youâve ever heard of
Absolutely bonkers how big those guys are
He looks like he could be part of the road warriors with the pads on haha
lowkey fast for his size
Are those Riddell Rival shoulderpads anygood?
Could you imagine going against this behemoth on the line sheeeeesh
i ain't blitzing Eddie, he fina carry me to the endzone
he would probably make a great olineman
Great jersey choice! Who dat!
Imagine him running towards you đ

5:52 Randy Moss! lol
I found it. Lol
He pulled a Randy Moss đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Unnessercry roughness on the quarterback, five-yard penalty, first down. đ€Łđđ€Ł
They did him dirty with those pads, that or he's just that big.
Play guard for the Bucs Eddie, you love the Glazers donât you?
i wanted to see eddie rep 225 for like 107
I would have Eddie as my right gaurd and The Mountain as my left tackle. They wouldn't be able play on the same side
Wouldnât he break for consecutive bench presses? Could he?
He can definitely do 225 for over 50
@@adeelliftsstuff doubt he has the muscle endurance for it.
most strongman and bodybuilders don't do bench press
@@craigchkw ohh he still got it trust
@@craigchkw he did 225x52 in 2012, he can def do more now
What about the bench?!?!
imagine him as a running back. Next marshawn lynch, but he would have to work on his balance and stamina. He could fully bulldoze through people though
lol are you crazy?
@@jayo5320 yes
Kinda wanted to see him 1v1 a linebacker. See who pushes who out the way.
Would love to see Adama Traore have a got at this.
ussain bolt did about 3.8 in converse not 4.22 big fella
no bench?
I'm impressed. I was hoping to see what his vertical leap was but hey. Beggars can't be choosers.
This is small Eddie too
Eddie would have more problems with drug tests than Josh Gordon.
NGL I do like that he chose to sack the quarterback by pushing him over with one hand though. That shows he fully understands the rules of the modern NFL.
Ha! đđđ
Eddie tried doing 225, but the weight was so light that he pushed it into space on his first rep, so it's not in the video.
The patriots should sign him
So no one told him that they donât wear pads for those drills?
4:19 and 7:58 would be the most frightening things to witness in real-time, my goodness that would be a large man running at you.
He would be considered small and undersized compared to most nfl linemen.
@@_itsmunah Err... BLUFF?
â@@_itsmunah nah .... hes 370 pounds 6'2 to 6'3
7:59
*Personal foul. Roughing the passer, defense #5*
Those guys must be tall because Eddie Hall is 6'3"?
Joe Buck: What a disgusting act by Eddie
Just so you know Eddie is 6â3
Why with shoulder pads???
Sooo, let's say this was a real NFL try out and he makes the team as a starter. If you were the coach of that team he made, considering his strength, would you rather have him on the offensive line, protecting your QB, or on the defensive line, attacking your QB?
Offense mate, no way with his size he is agile gonna be agile enough to get to the qb
@@ainakbasu8398 I agree. I personally think that to be on the defensive line, you have to be a freak of nature having extreme speed for being a very large person. I'm not sure if he would be able to get off the line very quick, and I doubt he would be able to get ahold of the QB. Especially guys like Lamar and Justin Fields and guys like that.
I'd make him a DT, they aren't all about getting to the QB, but with his strength he could stop up the middle of the line on runs.
@@meb212 Makes sense
Definitely defense. The intricacies of OL technique, decision making, and learning the playbook have a lot steeper learning curve.
Why is he wearing pads đ
I want to see Eddie play against real players next time
"40 yard dash. In English terms, that's 36 meters."
'Yards' ARE an English term!
5.73 is not better than a lot of offensive linemen in the NFL, lol. That would be painfully slow even for a 350 pound man.
Average 40 time for a drafted offensive lineman is 5.37. Considering heâs in pads thatâs not to far off.
@@drewk9346 Actually thatâs a massive difference. And heâs wearing shoulder pads, not âin padsâ. Thatâs almost a shell, but he doesnât have a helmet. Saying 5.37 is like 5.73 is like calling 4.3 close to a 4.7. Thatâs night and day.
@@drewk9346 Furthermore, .4 seconds below average and âbetter than a lot ofâ is massively different in meaning.
@@smyers9052 First off the difference in .4 seconds between a speed position like wr is much more drastic and emphasized than an a O lineman. And I never said âfullâ pads, but by definition cause I know youâre that type of person shoulder pads do qualify as âpadsâ. Now if you donât know those pads cut arm restriction which in return cut forward momentum. Also noted these are combine numbers..these do not include any numbers from players who were not invited or who had opted out. So by fault we will never know the average of all nfl lineman. But because heâs seen them run over a 10 year career Iâll take his word over yours.
@@drewk9346 Also, the reason I make the distinction about pads is that wearing only shoulder pads is not a significant factor when running. Is it maybe a tiny factor? Sure. But itâs literally functioning as a built in excuse and having played football for many years, I can tell you that ainât why he ran 5.7
40 record is 4.21
who r these guys
Sure you can..or could deadlift 1000lbs..but alot of NFL 6'3 players can run a 4.8
You could have at least gave him some pads that fit
It's not eddie hall if he is not severely dehydrated from the start of the video
Bo jackson ran a 4.13 forty meter dash. Just sayin đ
Why wear pads?
Imagine having to take him on...
Oi Eddie..stop getting smaller you now fit into FOOTBALLL (American) padsđ
i bet he could get 225 50x
How is it that you just have him do agility this video angered almost everyone who watched it Iâm sure
isn't it defense?*
Record is a 3.9 for the 40 yard dash
No. Not as an official time.
You'd think with his size you'd outrun him, you probably wouldn't
To be honest 5.73 is actually very slow, even for offensive lineman who are all by far the slowest on the field. For his size it's okay I suppose, but still not very fast even considering that. 5 seconds is considered to be only slightly faster than the average human, and Eddie was much slower than that. Not to trash Eddie though, he's still an incredible strongman and athlete in general.
@@NoHaBi02 He's not a football player I wouldn't expect him to compete with someone who trains these things day in day out, give him credit
@@jonathancaplin570 Itâs really just pretty slow.
Thor would be better than Eddie at this aswell đ
If Eddie was as ambitious as Thor, think it would tell a different story tbh mate
@@Lickmabumbum I love Eddie mate ,just having a laugh, Thor is a freak of nature though.
What's the point of being a "strongman" if you can't run, jump, or bend over and touch your toes?
Why with pads??? Thatâs dumb. Ruined the whole test.
5:53 That is a disgusting act by Hall
HHHHHHHHHHmjHHHHH
Why is he wearing pads?? This was terrible
Eddie should never do this again, he's juiced to the gills and was below average at everything.
Too slow and stiff
He seems quite quick for his size
@@Only1Kizz, compared to normal people yes. Compared to NFL athletes, even guys his size, no.
That said, the stiffness is a bigger problem than the slowness. I can live with a nose tackle who can't run 40 yards fast because my short-yardage nose tackle won't be running 40 yards to make a play. A nose tackle who can't get down in a stance and gets off the line so slow is a bigger problem. Offense is completely off the table because he won't be able to stay in front of defenders and he'll get the QB killed.
Running isn't an important part of strongman, or boxing. He hasn't had a reason to train that hard at it. Not surprising he's worse than NFL players, who all need to run to play the sport.
@@JonPITBZN I get you but itâs quite ignorant and unfair that you compare him to NFL athletes that have been doing that their whole life and they are the best at it. His get off was surprisingly quick to me and I didnât expect it to be that fast. He would obviously play OL and he will also be stronger than any NFL player so that will help him with blocking DEâs. But obviously he lacks the footwork and fundamentals because he never done it at a young age like all these NFL players have.
@@Only1Kizz 5.73 hand timed is just not fast though
@@smyers9052 NFL athletes train months before they run a 40 believe it or not, they donât just roll out of bed and run it. If Eddie was in shape and trained for months his time would obviously be alot better.
Eddie is so desperate to be Arnold
Almost all of these tests are inaccurate, especially the 40 yard dash. Christian Coleman ran the fastest 40 yard dash ever at 4.12 & even that was inaccurate. John Ross supposedly ran a 4.22 but his best 100 meters was a 10.66 legal & Christians is a 9.76 & Usain ran a 9.58. There is no way John Ross is even close to a 4.22.
Has nothing to do with the video but yes
The 100m tests more speed endurance than the 40yd. I'm sure if John Ross training specifically for the 100m, he would be under 10sec for sure
100m running is far different than 40 yard running. 40 yards is acceleration, 100m is acceleration plus maintaining the highest top speed. This is the same reason why 100m athletes usually don't succeed in 400m events, or even 200m for that matter.
False. Ross ran 4.22 electronically timed. Speed changes over distance and you canât use a 100 to determine a 40. Thereâs a reason people look at actual 10 and 20 yard splits vs just taking an average.
What a joke. Heâs no Athlete. This is an insult to football.
Man won world strongest man and was national caliber swimmer. You be hard pressed to find many NFL players that could compete against Eddie in the pool
This is a insult to the league and America. please keep nfl in America i donât understand why they wana branch out itâs already bad enough nba and mlb recruits from out America you need to make some American kid dreams come true to play professionally.
