- I bought the UK's cheapest BMW F80 M3 Competition.
I am a huge fan of the F80 M3, specifically the LCI competition package cars. In this video i talk about HPI and Experian checks on used cars, I also talk about values, depreciation and residuals of M3's which is quite vital right now because BMW have recently released the new G80 BMW M3 Competition.
Those who follow my content regularly will know that i'm a used car trader, this car is simply a car that i've recently purchased as a bit of stock to re-sell.
I start of the video with a walk around, I then talk briefly about specs, I go on to cover the HPI and history check, I then head on on the road for drive in this Stage 2 tuned Boot Mod 3 mapped car and we finish with my random but all important 20 - 70mph dragy times.

I’m size 14 as well, I get my trainers in JD sports warehouse near where I live. Nike and Adidas usually for around £50. Other than that Jacamo sell massive sizes just not so many names brands 👍.

@@adamusmani5155 the light doesn’t actually flicker, the camera cant pick it up properly, it only looks like its flickering on camera
@@whosdat406 technically the camera is actually picking the LED up properly. All LED’s flicker as they are switching on constantly depending on what frequency they run at. The frequency they switch on and off at happens too fast for our brain to process so it looks like constant light to us.

I had an M4 CP, the last thing it needed was more power. It was difficult enough to get 450 bmp down, could only use it to full potential a couple of months a year.

The bootmod software is so user friendly and adds a whole new dimension to the m sport range. You can map the gearbox settings to reduce wheelspin the diff and the engine via your own laptop I'm sold on owning one after chatting to other users that have the software. Now comes with anti lag and launch control functions as well.

E46, E92, F80. The 3 great M3’s. Shame the new g80 has to have an opf and gearbox is way too smooth. The older M3’s had immense character. We will miss them.

Must admit I took an 18 plate comp for a test drive last year. It never blew me away like I thought it would, Probably down to my current and last car having similar power. I still loved it though. I like the sound of them as well to be honest, I think I do prefer the sound with equal length mid pipes takes away the rasp and leaves the straight 6 noise. Definitely going to be the replacement for my PFL RS3 though.

Not a huge fan of tinted lights but those are subtle enough to get a pass, I would also tint the windows to a less aggressive percent to match them up with the lights though.
I am more of "old" car guy but somehow m3 f80 changed that in me...Slowly becoming favorite modern car! i need this car!
F80 is the dream for me I will have on in the next couple of months👏🏾👀

Porsche has a pull out peg in the fuse box by the accelerator pedal, put your jump pack positive on that to power up the car and open the bonnet to get to the battery mate. 👍🏻

I had 3 warehouses just across from there at Manton Way in Bedford. Lorry batteries, cat’s, diesel and anything not screwed down was stolen in the 4 years I was there. The whole areas murder for van man looking for scrap. Would see 10 vans a day cruising round eyeing up everything.
I'm a Jag man and have a 320bhp 550lbft XF, I rarely see any Jag content on CZcams, I think an XFR or even an XFRS would be pretty fun to see, I'm sure with the right connections you could get some serious power out of one with it obviously being a 5.0 S/C and let's be honest it'll make that BMW sound like someone farting in a tunnel :P
Opinion: Calvin I have a 2016 comp pack M3 but am looking at a move to a 2018 GTR in the next 6 months.... what’s your thoughts? Car is a weekend/nice weather drivers toy. Love the M3 massively but a GTR had always been something I’ve aspired to own.
Tinted rear lights looks like it was there standard from factory, so keep them completes the car

Car for yourself? Have you considered late 1990s mercedes s600 v12 or early 2000s cl65?
I just watched the vin wiki on the s600 v12 with exhaust mod and it sounds top. £8-£15k, wont lose money on it and you can also fit your family in it.

I love the f80 but crank hub bearing is off putting because if it hasn't been done its about £3000+ to get done so technically add that price to purchase, still love the platform especially over g80 at the moment

What the update on the m2
The compact factor alone makes the competition a future classic. it will be like the 72 oil flapper 911S or the early 80's Alpina 3 series. I really like that car.
