On May 20th 1873, Levi Strauss began marketing denim work pants that featured copper rivets (later they became known as blue jeans).
Led to believe that Neil and Richard, rather than extolling the virtues of wearing blue jeans, were in fact extolling the virtues that some of the best things in life are free, these include singing, dancing, walking and above all…. LOVE. 💕 That all of these must rate above the insatiable drive for the accumulation of wealth.

Worth noting here that the one-off Neil Diamond Guitar (Gibson Epiphone) in this video was made specifically for Neil Diamond, it cost US$30,000.00 and bears the Neil Diamond frog logo on the inside. Information derived from the actual guitar itself.

They were the days when music meant something, loved Roy Orbison, Elvis and many other artists the Everly brothers were brilliant. Sadly a time past buy, best time , 60s 70s they were the days of fun and enjoyment and great music.

Hi Doug, why do ND songs make me feel so good inside? Here's another example of it from his great decade of the 70s. I can feel down about things but the foot starts tapping and before too long, I feel uplifted! I must email you about a golden oldie (not one he composed) that IMHO is the best rendition ever. Hi Paul, Ever so glad to hear from you again... after 5 months... half a dozen videos have since flowed... under the bridge. Sorry, but that is an eternal question that I'm ill-equipped to answer. Another being just why those who may not understand the language yet love/adore the music of Neil Diamond, and not a passing fancy but decades of devotion and love. Perhaps its his beautiful baritone, the warmth, sincerity and love it espouses. Many of these beautiful individuals have thanked me for my sincere attempts to apply appropriate images to his great works, thereby, in a small way, assisting them understand the lyrics. This song wasn't from the Beautiful Noise album but from the You Don't Bring Me Flowers album. Unable to say why this song never broached me all these years, then to suddenly pop up. After all, Neil pretty much sang this song at practically every performance since 1978. I'm of the belief that you should seriously consider splashing out and purchasing Neil's 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Box set - shop.neildiamond.com/products/50th-anniversary-collectors-edition-cd-box-set A quality box set packed with not only 6 CDs but Neil's invaluable, informative notes.

This one took approximately 2 weeks to put together and refine. The American and Australian currency notes and to have their respective background painfully removed, each taking approximately 2-3 hours. The fire was a tricky one. The image was just that, an image not video. I wanted to have a "live" fire. This meant that I had to remove the still fire from the image, but leaving in the stockinged feet of the gent and the lady. Once done, I had to scour CZcams for a video of a fire. The shortest they had was 10 minutes in length. Once downloaded, I had to cut it down to 12 seconds... worth the effort, got what I sought. 😊Then of course there's the various images that I was compelled to remove the backgrounds to achieve the effect I sought. All in all, I am reasonably pleased with the result. Best wishes, Doug

Heavens! Doug, I would pay real $$ to peek into your little studio/office to see you meticulously cutting and tweaking all these zillions of clips and pictures. Then you put it all together and look at what we get!! You amaze me with every video. We, viewers, just don't realize the work it involves. Oh, I doubted myself when I typed "Beautiful Noise ", and I did have "Bring Me Flowers" album ...bought both as they came out.🙂 both vinyl however. Gave them to my niece years ago as my passion for N.D. rubbed off on her long ago. Best wishes, Louise

Hmmm.... that would be priceless; beyond monetary value.😊 Fact is, all of my efforts are carried out on a specially ordered computer (10-years old, but updated some 12 months back) constructed with the brief that the main task it is designed to perform being the creation of videos. This computer has 25 specific programs (apps) which I purchased, these are my tools. Lost without them.... and dogged patience and quest for perfection.
Happy to learn that your passion for Neil rubbed off on your niece, wonderful. Sincerely hope that you have informed her of the existence of my channel and website.
