- After Malev went bankrupt in 2012, Budapest was left without a hub carrier. But recently, Polish flag carrier LOT has started to resume some routes from Budapest, including this one to South Korea.

LOT Polish is a decent airline. Flown with them before from Singapore to Warsaw and return.

What LOT Fly to Singapore?
Singapore to Europe was and will be a popular route. Turkish and Finnair also very active on this route. Passengers change at destination for other points in Europe or fly on to USA.
I like lot polish airlines (at least on short/medium haul flights), it ain't anything special at all but their flights are always on schedule and the seats are comfortable enough, I've flown with them lots of times and always had a good experience. Would recommend, very predictable company that does it's job like it should, something I can't say for most other European carriers.
I've been flying lot for 14 years. Almost never on time lol

The Austrian may have been cheaper ?? It should be Australian beer !!! Glad your nuts were warm ( sorry ) It is interesting that many airlines have napkins with spot for the button on your shirt but not many people know it is there and why ?? I absolutely love your trip reports David (and Felix!) and your English is exceptional. Can I make a suggestion though? Your "please consider to subscribe" caption is a little mixed up in its syntax. Your two options would be "please subscribe" or "please consider subscribing". I prefer the first option! Hope you can get out and film some more trip reports soon.
Flown LOT economy, must say their 787-9 is one of the best. Economy especially. I fly every year, and service is great, seats are comfortable, IFE is better than most, and food is great.

LOT is wonderful, excellent value for money, business long haul sometimes cheaper than other major airlines economy long haul
Why does David always flies in Business class and Felix always in Economy class, isn't that unfair?
Sometimes vice versa, David in Economy, Felix in Premium Cabin. But as far i watch video in this channel, Felix always flying rare aircraft or rare airlines, David always trying to make another content beside trip reports and Simon always flying in premium cabin.

I am a former Flight Attendant and have seen the lose of real service over the decades but I am glad that the carriers across the pond still try to keep up as the service here in America is completely shameful .... I had to cancel LOT Business (United Award) from New York to Budapest on May 31st. Anyway the flight was also cancelled.
LOT looks like it has a pretty good business cabin. The price seems really good for what you get. They flew out of LAX pre-covid. I'd be open to trying them if it works in my travel plans

On Country Routes (Short Haul Routes) LOT Use Embraer e175 embraer e195 Bombardier Q400 and somethimes a 737. During Pandemic 737 LOT Are mostly used at Route Warsaw-Szczecin Szczecin-Warsaw
On Short International Routes LOT Use Embraer E195 Like to Chania
LOT in Long International (Europe flights) Are use 737 somethimes a 787 to London and Long haul routes LOT Use this 787 before they use 767 in PRL they use IL-62

It's not really 7th freedom, as they are both EU countries it's considered one aviation market. However, a notable route would be Milan-New York on Emirates or Manchester-Houston on Singapore.
