I’d be interested in a remake of CastleMiner Z. The basic premise of there being a giant dragon, aliens, and weird, cyclopian structures dotting the land (such as the bedrock tower) is very cool. If they leaned heavily into a cosmic horror vibe, I think that would lend to it. Maybe there are other weird, strange, eldritch monsters, not just a dragon but things that live in the ocean or buried beneath the earth. Maybe there are ruins of forgotten civilisations which worshipped outer gods and elder things. Maybe the Dragon is one such elder thing that was worshipped, and its awakening has caused the death of civilisation.
There’s lots to build on.

Personally, I always treated the distance counter as my goal. The game prominently shows how far you've traveled away from the tower, so that might as well be the official goal of the game. So I did: I tried getting as fast as possible. And what resulted was actually a pretty cool game. Not only did I discover a whole bunch of new biomes I hadn't seen before but the game also got harder and harder, forcing me to upgrade my arsenal in turn. Eventually, when I got far enough, the biomes I had been walking through before started to appear again, only backwards in order. I always wondered what would await me beyond the edges of the outer starter biome. And the answer was quite shocking to 13 year old me.
I think this way of playing really is what suits this game well since the horrible building mechanics don't really affect it too much, only becoming necessary when you wanna take a break to craft stuff for your travels. And its strongest point, the exploration and atmosphere really shines.
This was my childhood and I still have it on my Xbox 360. I was having some memories and was wondering if there was any new videos by chance. Love the video you’ve got a new supporter 💜

I met my best friend from this game he was on a adventure to the world limit and I joined the rest is history
fun fact about castle miner, it is what notch based minecraft off of, long story short, he was inspired and wanted to make something similar.

0:13 Technically, Terraria released its 1.0 "main" version before minecraft by a few months, but redigit did most assuredly take some inspiration from MC and the same sources as MC, despite making a very different game.

this game gives me such a specific feeling that nothing ever in my life has ever given me. The closest thing/way I even know how to describe it is like when you have a super cool, crazy dream where there's all sorts of brand new things that suddenly exist and are suddenly possible. Man this game is so fun.
Dude me and my friends would play hours of this games messing around getting blood diamond laser weapons and making huge ass. Fortresses.

On 360 you can still play online on this game. I have played it with a friend just a week ago and it was fun.

this game was made before the first version of minecraft with survival so its not a knock off search it up yourself
