Ellen G. White the Founder of Adventism
If Ellen White hadn't come along with the idolization of the Sabbath day, basically only Christ-rejecting orthodox Jews would be keeping the Sabbath, something that the Lord Jesus Christ never commanded under the New Covenant.
Amazingly, Ellen White convinced millions of people to keep an abrogated Hebrew ritual law instead of commemorating the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead on the first day of the week, something Christendom has done for most of its existence. How did she pull this off?
At first there were only a few members in her religious sect, but followers later on who believed in her "visions" and "revelations," made a business selling books with her ideas and doctrines. Ellen White and her husband were alleged to be petty swindlers for selling her visions at camp meetings and through the mail. Her husband said in a letter, "There is much profit left in our pens."
Her main emphasis was that her followers keep the Sabbath day. She convinced them that it was the "seal of God " and the heart of the moral law. She was wrong because in the New Testament the Holy Spirit is the seal of God, and love is the heart of the moral law. Other heresies that she invented are; soul sleeping, no meat eating, the investigative judgment, no hell, and the erroneous view of biblical prophecy concerning the United States, Sunday laws and the mark of the beast.
Thinking that they're in the "remnant church" and thus not taking the mark of the beast, it is said that this psychological pull makes it difficult for some people to leave 7th Day Adventism.

Seventh-day Adventists don't keep the Sabbath because of Miss White, but because the bible says to do so, nowhere in the bible does it say to keep the first day of the week because Jesus rose on that day. If you were to study the message behind the Sabbath you would understand why we keep it, not because she says so but because God says so. Isaiah 8:20 says that if we speak not according to the Word of God we do not have light in us, so I would recommend studying the bible/the Sabbath without the bias' and prejudices that you have been told or taught.

There are a lot of CZcams videos that could get 10,000 views or 2.7 million views in less than 5 minutes or in less than 1 hour. That DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN that a video like this one "Go Light Your Candle..." by FVA--that it honors GOD. This one teaches FALSE DOCTRINE and is a SUNDAY CHURCH song. Take for example say, for sake of discussion a: (a.) Heavy Rock N Roll Song or (b.) a porn video. The fact that a video gets lots of views DOES NOT MEAN that it's from GOD. This song written by non-Seventh-day Adventists, popularized by many APOSTATE SUNDAY CHURCHES who in addition to this song, play a lot of heavy-"Christian"-Rock-Music songs, contains a lot of FALSE DOCTRINE in it. The song only mentions the name of Jesus 1 time...but repeats the SATANIC LIE "...run to the darkness..." several times. This is part of the Music of BABYLON being played among professed Seventh-day Adventists. Fountainview Academy SHOULD DELETE this video from their channel. I have respectfully criticized, with legitimate BASIS several songs that FVA does, and not one person at the entire Fountainview Academy in Lillooet, B.C. Canada has ever uttered a word of response. They have completely IGNORED any and all words of appreciation I have spoken about the songs that I like, agree with and believe HONOR The Holy Father in Heaven and Our LORD JESUS CHRIST, and they (FVA Staff, Owners, and Employees) also have completely IGNORED 100% any CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM I have shared with them. FVA did not refuse to collect the $7.00 they collected from my card after through FALSE ADVERTISING on the link "patreon.com..." they deceived me into believing they were sending "All their DVDs if I would sign up to support FVA at $5.00 /month or more.
