*Murder to Death* _(Verb)_
_-The act of committing murder until someone is in fact dead in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, as described by CZcamsr _*_TheEpicNate315_*
I think this definition needs some contextual definitions, it would make more sense as a phrase given necromancy in Skyrim. I mean, you can murder a dragon for example but they're not really dead till you've eaten their soul.
The last time I was this early, Arvel was still swift
Last time I was this early there was still a Cloud District in the game
"One of the guards said he saw a mage appear out of thin air, claimed one of those Psijic monks. Man's been hitting the skooma I say."
I was a adventurer like you then i took an arrow to the knee she said yes best moment ever
Wait hold up. This technically could imply the Psijic Monks can fast travel like us
Dragonborn: "I have had it with these mother-freaking necromancers in these mother-freaking dungeons!"
i have had it with these mother-fraking falmer in these mother-fraking dungeons.
I have a tiny detail! At Whiterun outside the potions shop there are flowers, nightshade, dragon tongue and tundra cotton. If you collect those and go inside and craft a potion with them they make fortify barter!
@@allbankbasalisk___2005 then you already picked them. They don’t grow back.
@@jennrex7447 are you sure it's whiterun? I looked around it and didn't even see the empty stems from where a flower was picked
When I did Potema's catacombs, it took me a good half an hour to figure out how to get ENTER... Don't know if my sense of direction is just that bad, or if Potema was yanking my chain.
"Is it in here? No. Marker says go outside. Is it out here? No. Marker says inside. Is it up here? No. Marker says down below. Is there a door here? No. Marker says 'middle of that wall'.
That's it! Originally, I was going to fight her because it was a quest... Now, I'm going to do it because I'm pissed that it's taken me this long and I can't even find the entrance.
It's either that or I'm gonna murder that snipe from Radiant Raiment."
Tip for next time: If you ever can't find the entrance or where you're supposed to go, clairvoyance is your friend. Works in all dungeons inside and outside as long as you have a marker in.
@@paoloantoniozambranamagri1405 I think I tried that, and if I recall, it went "through" the wall. That was an odd dungeon.
Also, after beating her and leaving the dungeon, I still saw the worst in my journal. I picked up whatever she dropped, but didn't see her skull.
As you can't get back in after dropping down, my choices were, fail to complete or go back through the dungeon com the front.
I reloaded the save just after defeating her.
@@ramixnudles7958 Well, that certainly never happened to me before. Definitely weird.
Shit, the exact thing happened to me too, and Clairvoyance certainly did not work well there. Thought I was an idiot for having this ridiculous problem. After like half an hour to an hour, I began looking at videos on it.
None of these dungeons actually ever scared me until Nate narrated their stories.
Yeah same that’s what I get for not reading any of the journals I pick up lmao
For a some interesting facts video: (Idk if you already covered this but it helped me a lot.) If you're swimming with a horse and you get off and get back on again in water, you can run on water with that horse and move a lot faster.
HeyitsKarma I just support the channel a lot and think if he doesn't know it would be a good mention for a video. all love man 💙

During my very first play through I fell into the sightless pit on accident and had to fight my way out as a level 7 🙃 It was so traumatizing that I refuse to go back into the sightless pit to this day 😂
I had to rewatch this cause it never occurred to me that oh hey i should fall into that there pit you know its just an aesthetic to show how that falmer hut got there and is a strange location... 10 years later nate says yeah this is a cool location wait its a dungeon??? Damnit!
I am at level 56 and I still absolutely REFUSE to go in a dwarven ruin more than once
Imagine walking into a dark mystical dangerous ruin and you find a high khajjit yelling at his dead brother to get up
Edit: that's dark actually
No one:
Literally no one:

If no one says nothing, then everyone is speaking.
And if literally no one says nothing, then literally everyone is speaking at once.
Another cool and little known fact is if you are playing Skyrim at around 4am in your region and decide to turn the game off, you can see your reflection in the tv and realize why your father is disappointed in you.
The last time I was this late the Civil War was already over.
But anyway yeah hearing scratching sounds, people disapearing one by one and hearing screaming in the walls is pretty terrifying.
The last time I was this early, Draugrs weren't a thing. They were still called cultists.

"you may have missed" *Starts with a mandatory to main quest Dungeon*
No... Worry about it. I loathe click bait titles and let's be honest, unless you only started Skyrim last week, there are probably zero dungeons youve never heard of or missed.
Alftand isn't a mandatory main quest Dungeon.
It's just the dungeon your pointed to so you can get into Blackreach.
100s of locations yet you've never been to the cloud district.
Do you get to the cloud district very often? Oh, what am I saying.. Of course you don’t.
I guess this means that Nate's next video will be a tour of the Cloud District just so that he can say he's been there.
Hey, Odahviing even does tours to above the Cloud District for people.
Do you get to the area beyond the Cloud District very often? Oh, what am I saying, of course you don't.
Last time I was this early... you were still walking the streets of Whiterun and I hadn't quicksaved yet
Every dwarven ruin/dungeon filled with falmer is horror to me
I laugh for every Falmer I've snipped in the butt/face/neck. Worse is when my boys & nephew go "shoot him in the butt!"
@Brandon Quist then the blacksmith realizes he's been blessed with the presence of the Dhovakiin
My favorote dungeon/cave was the one that brings you to the forgotten vale. I remember the cave opening up to a foreign elven forest with creatures so unique I stopped and just stared at the colors, details and uniqueness it was. I got so lost in the area that i had to use a tracking spell to get me back to where I was going.
Last time I was this late, Weylin killed Margaret.
4:21-4:35
Alright, who's flipping off the banner? Must be the wind...
Imagine the Dragonborn never met Lu'ah and killed her. She could have succeeded in her ritual and continued with her plan for "world domination". It would be one hell of a plot for a Elder Scrolls game.
Hey Nate, found an interesting detail while playing today. You probably know that if use a calm spell on bandits (and most humanoid enemies) you'll get the "Ugh I never asked you to magic me!" response. If you however use it on a forsworn you seem to get a different response (something along the lines of) - "I won't be violated by some half-septim magician"
Edit: Alain Dufont also says something different, along the lines of "well you must have had all the annoying gods on your side to make it this far"
The last time I was this early the Reach was still held by Forsworns.
Speaking of interesting dungeons with friendly creatures that are usually hostile, I'd like to mention Snapleg Cave. You get to rescue a Spriggan, and she'll also be friendly for the playthrough.
Last time I was this early the traitor Lorkhan was having his heart ripped out of his body.
there's that cave near whiterun that has falmer in it and turns into a very small dwemer ruin the deeper you go
it's where you can find a falmer working on a dwemer centurion that is not hostel to the falmer
That dungeon was a fucking annoyance to me. They tell you this quest on a very early level and when you want to do it the falmers will simply massacre you. Fuck that centurion too.
The Potema quests were definitely my favorite side quests as well.
anyone else been to that weird dwemer dungeon in the mountains to the east of riften and it’s like buried in the snow and inside you activate this thing with two dead bandits by it and you get trapped in a cage and a weird orb thing like examines you and then drops you down a HUGE hole?
Vivek Agarwal it’s called “kagrenzel” and it’s in the mountains exactly east of the eastmarch imperial camp
Go to ansilvund and go around the side when you clear it you will come out to Stony Creek cave
@@vivekagarwal8890 your welcome when I first found it the drop almost gave me a heart attack
I found something you could put on a video. In the raldbthar deep market I found a falmer and a Breton dead in each other's arms. I hadn't started to fight yet because I was sneaking but the falmer has a hand stretched towards a Breton woman's face both lying dead. I wonder what happened? I wonder if it's a little bit of that hope gelebor said he had
Kaiser Emotion the dwemer ruin I think west of windhelm. The deep market is like all the dungeons where when you progress the parts of it has different names. Also I am not sure if it is in the deep market or before the deep market all I know is that it is interesting. I took a screenshot when I found it. It's a room where you HAVE to press buttons to proceed
“A female hagraven”
Ah, yes, as opposed to the many male hagravens that exist
Nate, in your next 10 Tiny Details vid, please call Skyrim a brobdingnagian game
Last time I was this late Alduin has already yeeted out of existence.
I always actually knew the story behind the first one but never thought how creepy it actually sounds until
"you put down on paper"
For me the spookiest dungeon definetely was Dead Men's Respite. There's no particularly creepy story behind it but this one big hall full of dead men (draugr later on) just sitting on their chairs and I would have to walk through... It just scared the hell out of me
Oh definitely. My companion said when we went in to that throne room “I don’t like where this is going” and I was like “same man, same” because I crouched and was shooting arrows but they didn’t take damage or even were appearing as hostile but I knew they would 😬🫣
I think this is why skyrim keeps on going and going. It's not the most technically impressive or graphicly amazing. It's full of great stories.
I always love these vids! Keep em coming man!
I remember my first time playing Skyrim back in 2011. I was doing the college of winterhold as my first questline and was around level 10. I was heading to Saarthal and on my way their I noticed this hole in the ground and saw that it was a cave entrance. Loving dungeon crawling I said "sure, I can put Saarthal on hold" and jumped in. It was only then that I realized I couldn't get back out, so I started pushing through to find a way out. It was then that I realized that this dungeon was absolutely swarming with Falmer that were all 2 or 3 times my current level. I can say without a doubt that my first time doing sightless pit is probably the toughest challenge I've ever done in an Elder Scrolls game... or any game for that matter.
Hardly likely that we "may have missed" Alftand.
Another possibility me and my skyrim buddies have discussed with about the temple of Crib was that it was some sort of worshiping temple for a dwemer king, as some cultures had temples to kings (I believe south american culture were most prominent for this) meant strictly for people to place their offerings and gifts to appease a kings wishes or requests and was used as a sort of treasure vault of sorts. It seems highly plausible for the fact that, like you said, the dwemer worshiped no god. However, my buddy zeke piped up that maybe it was a temple to a forgotten snow elf god that the dwemer built for the snow eleves as part of the "refuge" deal they had with the dwemer. Both are just theories I thought youd might like to hear, but idk really.
Thats what ive been trying to figure out... there is a creation club add on that adds the sunder and wraithguard quest to it.... but i dont think thats canon since the dwemer disappeared when kagrenac used the tools on the heart of lorkhan thus making them all disappear.... and like you said the dwemer don’t believe in gods but “prefer reason and logic-vivec”. So the temple of xrib is an anomaly to me.
I am seeing this video while playing Skyrim
Did you know after you get the horn of Jurgen windcaller from Delphine you can go back to Ustengrav and activate the shrine for a free dragon soul?
Always look forward to your uploads, was only playing skyrim a few days ago!
I'm honestly super surprised that Hermaeus Mora's Apocethary from the Dragon Born DLC wasnt on any of your most creepiest locations lists.. it is honestly in my opinion one of the most creepiest places ever.. and also a main reason why I avoid doing most of the dragonborn DLC even after I have beaten it more than 3 times.
The Dwemer altar just above the outside of the Sightless Pit location is fun, with a unique twist thrown in. When you check the inventory of the skeleton on the altar, loot all of it, and the other skeletons on the ground will resurect and attack you. After defeating them, and the skeleton that you first looted, check that skeletons inventory again. There will be a book called The Gates of Oblivion in the inventory...again. Each time you exit and enter the inventory, the book will be there for you to take. This is on my Legendary Edition copy of the game for Xbox 360. The unending copies of the book are very funny, because there are unending gates of Oblivion, too.
I love Melka, she's the best. "Do you like my pretty tower? :)"
"People eating elves" made me think of someone eating the Keebler elves.
Then, I realized it was People-Eating Elves (with an adjective-joining hyphenation) and then I immediately thought of the Falmer. Damned, soulless savages.
For things you didn’t know you could do: After receiving Auriel’s bow and the arrows if you shoot a bloodcursed arrow at the sun it will turn red for a little bit and people comment on it :’)
Ricardo Milos I understand that. I’m saying afterwards you yourself can shoot an arrow at the sun and it will turn red for a couple minutes and people will comment on it.
7:33 doesnt it look like one of the elves just got the other one in the neck?
My goodness, I still live for all this Blade Shade
"Horrifying goblin like people eating elves" geez say that 3 times fast
Nate I wanna say, I watch every single one of your videos. You make me laugh and smile and enjoy my day just a bit better. So thank you for making these videos and making this world just a bit better. I look forward to every post you put out and am always excited to see what you have to say and hear your thoughts on it. Nate I love you videos, I have learned new unique things to spice up each play through even after having like 1000 hrs, keep up the good work!
The failed Alftand Expedition reminds me of H.P. Lovecraft's works, particularly At the Mountains of Madness.
Mr. Epic Nate,
Skyrim is a game that is near and dear to me. Your narration and videos really keep me entertained.
You’re an amazing presenter. Keep it up
Haha he casually snatched Potema's skull while still fighting her with the other hand. Best disrespect ever!
Great stuff man! On a personal note, I just finished the worst month of my job. It was terrible, stats wise. Seeing your video after work, certainly help make my bad day better! I’ve seen the Sightless Pit, and usually try to avoid it. I’m not a Falmer fan, and I’ve seen that it’s 1 Way. But, I MIGHT make an attempt at it in a playthrough someday. Either a stealth vamp with illusions, a stealth archer, or (if I’m insane) heavy armored Shield Mage.

Oh my Talos, I love Melka soooo much :D Have just finished her quest once again with one of my characters. It is such a pity we cannot get her as a follower!
Nate, your videos always bring me joy and great information!
Sorry I would have been here earlier, but I was busy hanging out in the Cloud District. Do you get there often?
Geez the first one already scared me! I’m kinda scared to watch the rest
Has anyone used a calming spell or the Imperial ability on the party excavating the ruins? Also, that temple in the last section is probably named after its location rather than a god. The Falmer probably lack the ability to recognize gods and are just going through the motions of whorship.
My current playthrough had my first experience with the Sightless Pit thanks to the Creation Club's Sunder & Wraithguard. I play with the various Wench mods, so Falmer dungeons are especially dangerous and I would never consider them without at least 2 followers. I actually had to go through the dungeon twice because I couldn't find the entrance to the Sightless Vault. I might have enjoyed the dungeon a lot more if I weren't terrified of every Falmer encounter spawning Chaurus Hunters and Reapers alongside Forgotten Wenches.
Love your videos brother been binging them the past three days

600 hours in Skyrim and I just learn of the Sightless Pit. What a giant game, and now I need to find this dungeon!!!
Love your videos make me learn every time I see video especially when I see the game glitch out lol
I have another one for your next 10 tiny details video, and this one actually made me mad. So ive been going through this play through and reading the books as youve made me realize how dope they are. So I'm going through the sewer to Goldenglow Estate for the Thieves Guild, and I go into cell down there. In there you'll find the Skill Book "Wulfmare's Guide To Better Thieving" which gives you an increase to pickpocket. All well and good. But as I read it, he starts to list his bonafides to write the book, and winds up saying this; "Maybe you heard about that heist in Mournhold, wheen Queen Bereziah's coronation crown went missing? Or perhaps the tale of the Elder Scroll gone missing from White Gold Tower reached your ears. Thats right... it was yours truly." Now I dont know about Berenziah's crown, but I know for a FACT that I (and anybody that played TES4), as the Hero of Kvatch, stole that Elder Scroll. This punk is taking credit for my greatest heist. Idk who Wulfmare is, but I better never find him.
Thanks for listening and shout me out if you use this one in the video. One love. Appreciate the channel.

Well, that's the first video that features all of the places I've been to, so... That's that. Maybe there aren't any more places I've missed in Skyrim. Can't wait for Redfall though. As always, very enjoyable video.
Potema reminds me of the Death Knight, Lord Soth, a favorite character of mine from Dragonlance AD&D. A powerful undead creature commanding an army of various undead and planing to march on the capital city.
I'll just say that how Nate told that story was very bare bones and misleading. Read the Wolf Queen books 1-8, they are probably my favorite elder scrolls books. You wont regret it.
Another great vid.
Do you have any theories about Spectral Draugr?
Are they the ghosts of Draugr destroyed, or a unique necromancy creation?
A level of power that can be reached by Draugr beyond Dragon Priest?
Kolborn Barrow gives me the creeps. The build up and return trips, the dead miners and mercenaries, and the advancing journals from your partner *shudder*
The last time I was this early is when I didn't have an arrow in my knee
HOW ARE YOU STILL DOING THESE?!!!
You amaze me
It's not true that the Potema catacombs are only accessible after starting the quest. I got in when I was only around 2nd or 3rd level, and I hadn't even started the Wolf Skull Cave quest. What happened was: I was caught stealing in the temple, so I ran down to the cellar to hide. One of the priests came down looking for me and opened the gate to the catacombs. I can't remember if I killed the priest or not, but I ran into the catacombs to escape justice. I didn't get too far before I was killed, but as far as I went everything was exactly as it was if I had gotten there the normal way. Potema spoke to me and everything.
I honestly can’t remember if I ever did that Hagraven Dungeon. I think I did because I remember having a staff by that name, I’m not 100% for sure though. All the others I know for sure I did. The last one on your list Sightless Pit was really cool. I remember the first time I entered it. I was afraid of what might happen lol
Great video I like fighting to Draeger's in Skyrim
Skyrim came out in 2011 and he is still posting stuff i did not know

Nate, you need to take about the drainheart sword and drainspell now and the other unique ghostly weapons in the laberyinthian
i feel into the sightless pit on my first play through and i wasn't strong enough to fight anything in there and keep getting dropped so i had to reload a save.
The Dwemer didn’t always think the way described here. The “Temple of Zrib” could have been built before the era of Dwemer apostasy.
This channel is so awesome I love your videos
I cant wait to run through these dungeons!
I think the scariest thing I've stumbled accross in skyrim is this weird human bone altar shrine thing in darkfall passage I believe. Creepy as hell if you ask me.
Right smack in the middle of a falmer camp too, looks like they made it, which only makes the whole thing creepier
The real big spooky in this video is the dragonpriest floating through the wall at 6:43
It’s sad when the average person in Skyrim needs several friends and a few weeks to explore a dungeon and they often don’t even survive. Meanwhile the Dragonborn clears eight dungeons in a matter of hours with a magic fork
I mean, it's one hell of a magic fork.
What do you mean 8 dungeons in hours? What kind of milk drinking Imperial only clears 8 in an hour? As a proud Nord warrior I clear at least 20 in and hour.
You guys are clearing dungeons?
