I'm so glad I got my budgies a bigger cage!đ They used to have a small one, and then I got them a bigger one and they're so happy now!đâ€
Mine have a huge tall cage and they only use the top 20% of it (when theyâre in it) đ

all my beloved and deeply missed budgies had "small" cages bcuz they were flying free from early morning to the evening, the cage door was only locked during sleeping hours, the whole cage was covered with a dark piece of cloth as it was time to sleepđŠthey all got their own personalities indeedđ
I think mine didn't sleep well we have five family member it been noisy for him what should I do and should I put a cloth over him when he need to go to bed I saw from a website said that they will get scared when you put a cloth over him
@@alexandrine6615 no please get a cage cover. It helps them sleep
My cousin gave her budgie a whole apple sense her bird eats the apples when she's not looking.
And she was like: âya going to eat it? HUUHHHHHH?
Right Hughes
Make sure it's organic
The apple seeds are toxic and will kill the bird.
tell your cousin to take out the seeds they are very toxic for budgies!!
Make sure itâs safe with no seeds slices are good but make sure no seeds

I just got a budgie yesterday, and itâs really tame! It doesnât run when you get close to the cage, it actually stays close and it already started singing a bit! It can also comfortably eat. It doesnât move around much and Iâm yet to see it drink or play. Any advice on when I should start letting it out of the cage?
well well well, itâs been a month, and i love him so much!!! he is so cuddly, he spends most of his day outside, he loves sitting on my head/shoulder and heâs super playful! he flies up to me all the time!!! iâve never had such a friendly and loving budgie :â(

If I let my budgie out, I'm going to worry about them not being able to go back in, since they're still scared of me and feel uncomfortable when my hand or myself is near them..
I know by now you've probably sorted this issue out, but for anyone else in a similar situation: you need to train your budgies a little before you let them out, as forcing them back into their cage is worse than just not letting them out in the first place. That's another reason why it's important to have a large cage, as they might have to stay in the cage for the first week-month. Before letting your budgies out of their cage, they should be comfortable enough to sit on your hands- and preferably do it on command too. There are a lot of tutorials online about how to get to this stage of trust, so I won't type how to get this far here. Otherwise it's going to be a huge hassle trying to chase your bird back into their cage.
Thanks for this interesting video
0:24 Is just too cute.
I got a new budgie last year. This one is little weird. He really loves his cage and his toys. His door is always open to come out, however, he stays inside. Although we have a routine. Every morning, I get him out his cage and he will sit on my shoulder for a time and then he wants to go back in his cage. Really a friendly birdie too.
Thank you for then advice! Iâm a new bird owner and I need to learn how to keep my buggies very entertained all the time :3
Happy healthy budgies make me happy. You have such a cute flock !! When they were running on the floor and flying all over it made me laugh!
I remember my sister yelling at me because our cages were small. I had to explain to her that my birds could go in and out as they please, except for a night.
It really helped me understand that I chose the wrong perch and wrong cage but no time better than the present to change me . THANK YOU đ.
Iâm waiting for the day I can have a budgie of my own (my landlord...I need to ask him), and these videos are a wonderful way to start the journey. Thank you for your advice!
This is a GREAT video!! So many folks know very little about what budgies truly need. Your flock looks very happy and cared. Best to you and your babies!!
The only mistake I made is feeding her seed but now Iâm giving her pellets and fruit
Tysm for making this I love watching your videos and I watch all your videos before getting my parakeet and my parakeet is happy and healthy, sorry for your loss (denny)

My bird died yesterday.. probably cause I wasnât paying attention to him.. He flew over to me and went into the blind. Might of hit a vein. I miss him so much. I want him back, but I canât take him back cause he died.. Just a couple of days before he died he was so happy..
Oh no, that's horrible! I'm sorry for your loss :(
Im sorry for your loss. But at least he didn't run away. I know how hard it is to not know if your bird is alive or dead or if she's ever going to come back. I hope your bird finds peace where ever they are now.
Iâll pray for you! đ

Thanks for the video it was very helpful!
Budgies drive me crazy. I want to grab them and sniff forever. :)
It is so frustrating to see people care for their animals completely wrong. But you have done a great job telling people and helping them understand proper care without making them feel incredibly stupid. keep up the good work!
Thanks for the video. I'm hoping to get a budgie soon!
Thank you for the wise advice. đ
I am glad that I donât do any mistakes. My budgies gets out and play everyday, they get veggies and fruits and they have loads of toys. I donât think I should mention more. Thanks for the tips thoughđđđđ
you legit have a budgie paradise my dude
Thanks for your video, i am completely agree. When we buy an animasl, it's important to make them happy. I have had budgies and i didn't have big cages like on your video, because i didn't have enough space, but i opened the doors of their cages when i got up in the morning and i closed their doors before going to bed, so they were free all day, they were happy and i also bought different games and i took very good care of them.
Omg, they are sooo sweet đđ
thanks gurl đ
I just got two babies today and Iâm so excitedd
You were right about budgies hiding sicknesses. I had a beautiful light bright blue parakeet and we didn't realize she was sick until it was too late and I was the lucky one to find her dead in the morning.
I just got my budgie 3 days ago and he is doing surprising well. He stepped up on my finger for the first time yesterday and eats millet out of my hand. He still isnât use to being held and his wings were clipped before we got him so I was sad about that, but he is very cute :)
ItzNotOlive How do you get him to eat in your hand? I have my parakeet since like 2 weeks but heâs very scared of hands
@@lucaspuillet4878 The amount of time it takes to tame your bird really depends on where you got it. Just don't give up and be patient with your bird. What I did to get my budgie to eat out of my hand way hold Millet or poor seeds into my hand and placed my hand in front of him without moving until he walked up and started eating.
I have budgies and these vids help me alot as I'm only 11 but obviously my mummy and dad help me too
Thx ! This is very helpful
Great advice!đđđš
1:43- My birdgie loves balls the most, especially if you put millet insideđđ
Great tips!đđœđŠ
This really helps!
I cant understand why people spend so much money on wooden perches in the store, while you can find them in Forest for free. Just Wash them under hot water and put them into oven, and then they are clean. I also dont Think that yearly check ups are neccesary for healthy Birds, just New ones might need it or when they seem to be sick. I thought you know the difficulties that you can have with parents for vet Visits. But it was a nice and helpful Video, i very liked the blue flying room
i totally understand you đ i do the same and i never bought any perch! đ
I agree. Perches are easy to make safe and toys are the same. Visits to the vet can be extremely stressful to birds and cause them enormous anxiety if they're not used to travelling or being outside their home. They can be wormed etc at home without any need to be transported. If their perches are good and they get plenty of exercise, there's no need to stress them with bi-annual vet visits.
Same as međ
I have bamboo in my garden, the bambo works too well as a perch :)
Our vet actually did advise me against going there that often and rather showed me how to trim the beak and nails of my sick budgie
Thank you so muchhhđ€
I got 3 of the common perches inside my budgie cage, but on top Iâve used some branches I found in the woods to built some perches
Awwww cute denny,jenny and loki
I have had my budgies for about a week and I have found that pellets work so much better!!
Great vid!đđ
these are really good things you mentioned! đđđđđđ
I found a budgie outside yesterday so I'm watching your videos cause I have no idea what I'm doing. Your videos are great! I think my budgie has a sore leg as well...
1:28 i made perches from rose branches that i collected from our garden. And it is soo cheap to make
Lol while playing this video my budgie was also chirping coz of your budgie's voice they are the same breed đâ€â€
Great video and agree with everything you mentioned heređ€đđŠ
glad the first ok cage is the exact one i have!

Thank you!!
Yes, a great video for budgie owners! Greetings from my 13 parakeets.
My budgies 2 stay in a parrot cage they roam freely in my lounge. Visit their food bowls now and then, only sleep there at night. They are so clever. I never knew this if I didnt see it for myself...
When my bird heard your parakeets chirping he went insane đ
I like your videos, useful, step by step
đđ„đŠđš I watch videos on lizards .. and now my 2 new budgies. I take notes on what to get. then go shopping . Keith Australia
Iâm watching all these videos in preparation for the two birbs I have reserved in a pet shop. There is a classic green budgie who I named Nikki and a gray one who I canât decide on a name for. Stella is one option and so is Summer.
I like every videos of you!
I once had 4 budgies and I basically fed them pellets everyday and I didnât even change their sticks and soon they all died cause I had 2 different species in the cage then I got 4 more(all budgies) and I changed the sticks the food and I added toys and now Iâm adopting a family a baby, mom and dad. Iâm so Excited thanks for your help ur vids help me a lot and make me wanna fix my mistakes any ways love ur vids bye!,â€ïžâ€ïž
Pickle is my budgie pal and he is 21 months old. I have had him eighteen months.. I let him out every day and the lounge is his "cage." He loves thimbles, coins, pencils. He never leaves the lounge unless he is on my shoulder. He knows when it is bed time and I point to the cage and rarely makes it difficult for me to coax him in. We have conversations and although he doesn't talk he seems to like company and music being on.
Your budgies are so healthy and beautiful đđđđ
Tysm! The vid also helped me see al the thing i should do also im buying New budie!
My littel budgie sweety shes a female shes 2 or 3 months old and her partner sky is 1 yesra old i think its weird but where ever she is he will be there and my budgie sweety was not so good looking this video helped alot and shes getting bit well shes scared she was very weak and hungry but ur videos made me understand that what i have to do thank you very much denny the budgie for these vids

Super sweet and informative people need to know u canât just get a tiny cage and seeds and call it a day....if they are able to be out most of the time and only sleep in cage understandable like one commenter said thyre birds were out seems like 8 hrs ..a day ...

Sorry For Your Loss
I plan to get my first budgie this spring and i saw a cage exactly like the first one you showed (4:07) and I know its not right for them to live in their whole life, but what about for travel? Me and my mom are going to travel a lot this year and we can't fit a very big cage in the car but a small cage like that would fit perfectly fine but I dont know if it would be alright for a budgie. Would a cage like that be ok or are there better alternatives??
What kind of pellets and where can I get good kinds bc idk can someone help
The last budgie we had was like having a dog, actually he was worse than a dog! I have so many stories about that bird! First off the dog comment, it became attached to me like a well trained dog does to its owner or master. It knew the sound of my car as it pulled into the driveway, it would listen in the morning , as soon as my feet hit the floor he started squawking, and loud. It didnât matter if his cage was covered he squawked and nothing would stop him until I went downstairs and went to his cage or someone let him out. He would even fly up the stairs to find me if I didnât come down to the main floor, if his cage door had been opened he would fly up the stairs to find me. He also had over a 50 word vocabulary. This budgie was hand raised from hatching by a very special breeder. Back to the dog comparison, a dog can usually be shut up from barking if trained correctly. This budgie, Tweety, could not! My voice would set him off or if I was in the room and his cage was not open he would raise hell if he could see or hear me, sometimes but rarely a cover quieted him down but at times we had to let him out to shut him up and he would be right over to me on my shoulder..
He passed one winter about 11 or 12 years ago. And he now has a marked resting place at,the end of the backyard. I think we all say â hi Tweetyâ when walking past his resting place. Tweety was a special bird.
Nice video. What was that green plant they were eating at the beginning?
This was so cute and educational đ
I miss my budgies, they are so precious!
I have a budgie for 8months but hes still scared from me but hes not biting that hard, its hard to tame him pls help me what to do
Excellent advice â„ you must spend money o your budgies well beingâ„â„â„â„â„â„
My parakeets a couple years old and he hates me lol. He shows no fear when in the room. He'll even sleep when I'm there and is not afraid when i go into the room and hes eating. He'll just keep eating. Anyways one time I was trying to give him a toy and he was not having it. He grabbed it out of my hand, and through it over his head behind him. It was so funny
Iâve tried introducing every kind of fruit and vegetable to my parakeets and they will only eat apples and seeds. I mix pellets into the seeds and they leave the pellets. I even took their food away for a whole day and left only a nice mix of veggies but they didnât touch it. Theyâre too small to go long without food so of course I put their seeds back in.
Any advice?
Is it the worst if thatâs just what they eat forever?
I think Iâm doing everything else right. But I canât figure out how to fix their diet.
Great video!editing is hard,do you now any online vets?,my mom and dad say the same thing...but there learning just like me!
Denny,i done with the subtitle!
I try to give my budgies fruits and vegetables but they will only eat lettuce, spinach, seeds and they tried broccoli what do I do
Keep offering them new veggies and fruit, but still add the ones they'll eat
What types of leaves are good for budgie and cockateil?
Very informal! Thank you
I don't think that means what you think it means
@@justahuman4616 it means having a relaxed friendly style or official manner. I know đ
I have to ask my bird tail going up and down a lots .is that a good sing or no

My Budgie always loves Your video BGM .....I don't know why đ
I just got a budgie and I have a question about it's diet. When we give it fruits like strawberries it doesn't eat it but It does eat the millet. Is it because it is still adapting to it's new home or what?
