Yeah it makes no sense but it's game balance. If the 50 was worse the vehicle would be useless. If the m72 was realistic then ALL vehicles would be useless bar more modern armor
it also has to do with where you hit the vehicle as well. had you noticed he always aims for the turret? it doesnt take 4 lats if you hit it in the engine
I’m in shock right now Me and my friends were the ones crewing the first 2 BTRs, we thought we were getting hit by LAT at first and had no idea we were getting lit up by an M2 lol
have you ever considered it might be of more benefit to leave the logi alone after killing the squad in it and killing the engine, instead of blowing it up? i guess it all depends where on the map it is, if it is a good distance from main and the closes point, it could hurt the enemy to not have a logi in active operation.

is your complaint the supression? and or in that time frame how quikly he took out the tiger and a logi riders? i do not like how they implemented the suppression it lasts to long and sometimes the whole screen is black for wayy to long. in arma 3 i have a suppression mod that i have tweaked to hit hard in flashes the closer the bullets get but also to leave quick to and also the mg's tracers streak the screen. i also hate how logi are not protected and you cant shoot back while riding in the back. they defiantly need an quality of life update before all this other bs they are adding!
I liked to watch Arma 3 vids and later got the game. But never played past tutorial XD. The game got me intimidated. I'm no veteran but i know for sure your vision doesn't get blurred when you're getting suppressed. In my opinion blurriness should be an option in the settings. Definitely not forced. Your eyes are trying to find something to focus on and its an impossible task. No way that's good for the eyes. There are many ways to improve cinematics but blurriness like that no way.

How do you get the turret sens so high? I maxed my sense out and it still takes 4 swipes to turn the turret 30 degrees
use WASD to turn the turret for big turns, use mouse only for adjusting and small turns :)
