Good afternoon, Mark and fellow weather watchers. Sorry I 'm late to the party. As of 1 pm it's 100° at the Orchard Cottage Weather Center. I knew early on it would be a hot today. Our overnight low was 66°. As of 8:05 a.m., we were at 77°. That's 6°+ compared to the same time yesterday. 64% humidity and zero winds. Our weather center relies on the Mark Finan Weather Center and Fire Watch Center. Bill from Oakdale, CA.
Yes Mark I had to evacuate during the night. I am safe in Sacramento hopefully the Crozier Fire doesn’t get as big as previous fires in the area..Mosquito, Calder, King.
Thanks for the update. The air attack on the Crozier seems to be significant. I've been tuning in to The Lookout YT channel every night this week to get updates on the Park fire but it's nice to get one in the morning.

Build your dream home in a place that needs occasional fires then stop the occasional fires. Now the occasional fires have more fuel & are much more difficult to stop.. Eventually we cannot stop them & you will only dream about your dream home.

The Crozier Fire might find those old fire scars pretty tasty, a decade or more of regrowth will burn quite well.
Mill Creek has become a perfect pipeline for the wind-blown fire advance that we are seeing.

It’s kind of unbelievable if you really think about it,with technology how it is today, we have big fires like this.
