I live in the U.S. and frequently hear so-called race-mavens sneer that "the United States has better horses than anywhere in the world!". I must say, I do love our horse heritage and the outstanding horses we've bred periodically-- but that kind of sneering jingoism hardly matches reality. Australia, England, and Ireland remain preeminent, and Arabian, French, and Japanese stud farms are not terribly far behind. Horses are horses, breeding is breeding.
US horses aren't great because unsound horses are put to stud to pass on their shit legs all the time. Just look at Charlatan being sent to stud, tested positive for banned substances during 2 races, didn't race as a 4yo despite planned because of injury. Yet still sent to stud where he'll breed 100-150 mares. Doesn't make any sense.
Kingston Hill named after a famous cycling climb in England owned by Paul Smith. He went on to win the St Leger. He wasn’t beaten far in the Derby but nobody remembers seconds.
Always great to hear the mighty Alexandrova mentioned; I adored that horse
Agreed 💯

The heir apparent, to Galileo
Aiden brings a half fit horse. Listen 8:00
He admits these things when they lose also. Scandalous
You just want him to sire great horse with those parents.
Looks far better than frankel, winning a derby was something couldn't do but then again if youre called australia you're going to win aren't you.
TETAZE. MIRIÑAQUE EQUEL.🏇🏇🏇.
My New Approach would of pissed all over Australia, thanks for the kind wishes
Looks better than frankel, frankel didnt win a derby did he?
No
@@mjmurphy1775 do you know much about the two?who'd win?
I know frankel was better but Australia won the derby and if frankel ran in the derby Australia would have won because he was a stayer
@@mjmurphy1775 so who was the one youd want in your stable, the derby is the highest value event for 3yos,did Australia retire after that?
I would want Australia he’s won more valuable races and is one of the well best bred horses ever
O’brien just dopes them just a different than Navarro and baffert
