Mid 1970's went to Arkansas State Fair saw Lawn and garden class tractor pull, they had brake away kill switches for the motors safety. They were anything but lawn and garden. They were akin too mini rail job dragsters. They were 6 to 10 thousand dollar toys...
Getting some serious amounts the wheel speed and then wheel hop, but mighty impressive little engines to be making the HP and Torque they are! Especially spinning at such high RPM'S for a diesel! Very impressive stuff! Wish the US had more interest in doing useful things like this? This country has become a boring stalemate of nothingness anymore and anything that is semi interesting or intelligent has been commercialized and turned into something it's not for money and liability safety BS!
They have garden tractor pulls in the USA. I live in the USA and my ex wifes brother and father pulled them and they run on 1 cylinder alcohol and they also have 4 cylinder engines that are either street bikes or car motors on them. And most of the one cylinder motors have to have the head strapped down bc they will blow the head off bc so much compression. I've seen and been to many of them in Kentucky. So they do have them in the USA. Now I've not seen anything like the garden tractor's in this video in the USA but I'm sure that it would be legal and they would have to make a set of rules for them just like the stock and stock mod and the fully modified classes. The street bike motors they have on the garden tractor's are wicked fast and loud! They also stretch out the frames for that class. The first time I seen a four cylinder car engine on a garden tractor I was like wow. Then they rolled out the street bike motors on the garden tractor's and that was even faster. They dont have brakes like the big boys so to get the tractor to go left or right they lean to one side or the other with their arm stretched out and that's how they get the tractor to go in the direction they want. Bc the big boys have 2 break pedals to steer the tractor. But anyways look them up garden tractor pulls in Kentucky or Indiana. They have them all over but we only went to them two states. I'd like to get into this class like this video. That's just to cool. But yes they do have them in the USA.
It's probably not a matter of cost more like they did it AN the state's who's gonna sponsor it to run a class mini rods some sanctions claims to dangerous it all starts in a back yard some where 🤕
@@dankirchner5352 that's very true also. You know I'm gonna try and check into the class like in this video. I know the ones I've seen like the street bike motors are stupid fast and crazy. So I don't see why they wouldn't allow this type. Hell this type looks more safe than the street bike motor ones. Lol. I'm telling ya they are stupid fast. The dumbest thing I believe I've ever seen was a garden tractor demolition derby. Yeah that's what I said. Smh them guys are stupid. I mean they did have rules and shit but no way. They were getting flipped over and shit. They had to have the part from the foot up to the knee blocked off like a roll cage kinda . Just enough to were you couldn't get your leg broke if you got hit in that spot. But yeah that's got to be the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Lol
I'm pretty sure 90% of Americans with some kind of recreational racing vehicle they spent thousands of dollars on in shop space, materials, tools, learning different trades to live out their dream would rather die before that happens. Just my 2 cents.
Caleb h yeah ik it has to do with the timing and the fuel pump but still. we changed the pump timing and turned the fuel screw all the way out on hours and it still didn’t lope like that
As much as I respect these machines, half the driver's don't have a clue how to weigh these machines right or drive them and probably haven't walked the track to check it's consistency. When weighed right, the front end of these machines shouldn't never rise any more than a foot and just to say bob down the track. Idiots riding the wheelie bars down the track is cause by improper weight distribution and inconsistent track surface. This is what separates the real pullers and the money pullers.

First full pull FORD!!!
She was weighted right. The torque on the little John Deere...lol.
The real hero is the guy ridding on that skid.. LOL
"AMEN", to that my friend!!!!
They couldnt pay me enough to do that. Deafened, covered in dirt, choked by smoke and flung all over the place. Gimme a fullsize transfer any day.
You've gotta dig motorsports!
Those little diesels sound pissed off !
Wow great vid
Way cool looks like they need the roll cage!
Unreal!!

These minature tractor pullers are badass lol forreal...
Are rules different there? I noticed a few that got a full pull but didn't make it to the actual FP marker
Some bumpy rides going on here

If you don't have a mini D21 you didn't have a tractor pull!
Allis Chalmers 👍
Lil1066 nice lil dance lol!
These little bumblebees are a handful!
A real contact sport they need to get pull area flatter or something guy on sleds needs some beer tequila both probably lmao
Wow
Looks like if they make thier wheel base a Little longer they might not hop around as much ?
90 meters is the test?? thanks
Now that's some pissed off lawnmowers
These are extremely cool I would love to build one of these!
What engines are they running?
Those little smokers move
All I understand and all that matters "FULL PULL!"
Got rig'nuff to pull the box blade??

Gonna bet they are VW TDI Engines.
mostly VW, rarely Peugeot or Mercedes diesels

max. 4 Cylinder, 2,5 liters and one turbo Diesel engines

I can’t say for sure, but willing to bet they are VW TDI Engines.

They're speaking German :) The Stars and Stripes is flying above the German flag, per regs.

I think the most are using VW 1.9 tdi engines

Not allowed in the USA due to the massive number of flip flop wearers!!
You should check tractor pulling for the big boys. Thoes beasts hauls ass. I big in Denmark and the builds thoes guys make are freaking crazy

al morris this is nothing, compared to tractorpulling in the bigger classes. check out the 8-12.000kg classes

If the “green new deal” were to get put into law, all these tractors would have to be converted to solar powered.

They need either different dirt or a better track repair man.
