    Thank you do much for your video. I have a suggestion for your flag pole holder mod. You could use a thrust bearing with the slightly bigger inner diameter than the flag pole holder bolt, and replace the bolt with a longer one. Btw, I follow your video on orbiting camera rig. I modified it with a custom made spindle and a thrust bearing. The spindle can be mounted on a tripod stand with a quick release on top of it.
    Please keep doing what you’re doing. I’ve learned so much from you.

    I'd love to hopefully track down that Tripod / Slider head you are using. That thing is massive, and looks really smooth to work with. I've been looking all over, and can't quite find anything like it, so I'm sure I'm using the wrong search terms.. I also couldn't find that particular one on your links, unless I'm overlooking it? Any help would be much appreciated sir...

    Alex was right when he said “tripod” to correct you from when you said “C-Stand”. It’s not sandbags because you were talking about the CStand instead of the tripod and that the sandbags go on the tripod leg to provide support. But great video as always man. Instead of reversing the flag pole fittings just put a fender washer between them. They can’t engage the detents then and you can snug them up.

    • @AustenPaul
      @AustenPaul  Před 2 lety +1

      I actually tried that, as it was my first idea but because they shape of the teeth were con-caved you had to use a few washers for them not to grab and at the point the bolt wasnt long enough for the washer to grab on so I did a quick fix of flipping it but yes if you buy a longer bolt it is a much more secure way!
