It was not supposed to be taken seriously. I didn't say fun fact or source or true story or anything like that. That's your assumption. It was something I made in good fun.
Secondly, I made this comment near when the game just came out and I haven't reached to this part yet so I was unaware of the real context behind J Jonah's rant. I made a joke based on what I saw in this video. So I apologize for my mistake, but I would've never imagine you people would've taken such a small and silly mistake so seriously. I dunno if it's that serious or if you guys are just jealous or whatever, and frankly, I don't care. I'm just telling the next wannabe know-it-all that yes, I get it. I know the context now. It could've been something like "This suits allows me to do ... and that's why I made it!" but nooo it was instead "I felt like changing my awesome drip with a worse one".

@@muffmutilation6969 How is it a reskin of Peter's? It looks completely different in terms of panelling and design. If it was the Into the Spider-Verse version, I could agree, since Miles only spray-painted it black and spray-painted the red logo.

JJJ works best IMO when his perspectives are flexible but his principles are iron-clad. His integrity is a core part of his character, and integrity means being open to having your opinions challenged.
Although, for the role that he plays in the games, the conspiratorial podcaster archetype does its job and I find it entertaining enough. I am glad they added Danika in MM to balance it out a bit though
I cracked up cause I must've changed my costume at least six times in the mission prior to hearing this.
Now I know why Norman tried to kill him in Spider-Man 1. JJ never understood that in this world, you either drip or drown.

This is fun though, I liked how he critiqued the Punk suit in the first game. Kinda hoped to hear more about at least some of the other outfits. I could certainly hear Jonah talking about animal cruelty or endangerment in regards to Miles' "Spider-Cat" outfit!

No it’s literally just for getting the Anti-Venom suit
I only change into a suit that fits the mood at a certain part. Like in the first game before Peter eats pizza, I switch to the raimi suit. Or when a mission involves the cops, I switch to either the noir or stealth suit
Not to mention we all know they 100% do the exact same thing whenever they play because it's now a mandatory part of the play-style etiquette lol
What's interesting to me is.. as the possible world is ending.. JJ almost finally admitted Spidey was a hero.. he almost was pushed to saying it but found something else to complain about lol

As someone who could never decide on a suit in the first two games, I feel attacked.
I mean Peter doesn't have much a choice with the symbiote thing he's got going on, but yeah Miles deciding that the Venomification of New York was the best time to go and change costume is super weird.

I always do my first run with the default suits, so I can confirm that this time it isn't specifically about the non-canon costumes. There was a line in the last game that triggers because of cosmetic changes, but this time Peter actually changes suits three times and this is more for that

I beat the whole came and all of its available content as well as got everything to the max level before I even unlocked my first suit. I just prioritized everything else first and knew that if the game wanted me in a certain suit it would do so for me. My first play through I only ever use what they give you anyways just to keep that realism for the first experience.
