I am myself a solo traveller and you make genuine videos about travel. I was in thailand, Phuket, a city i.e. tourist friendly. But as soon as I got down from a tuk tuk, I realized my clothes fell from an open bag. I asked a local man sitting next to me to help as the tuk tuk was going. He didn't respond so I wore a dissapointed look and bent, but as soon as I bent to pick it, he started to beat my head.
When I confronted, he kicked my chest. Unlike you, I had no one and I was carrying lots of cash and I couldn't risk fighting him but I shouted at him and told to come out. No one helped, we abused, and he left.
Many people don't like tourists, please beware.
Thailand and many SE Asia countries hate Indians because they have created a pathetic reputation for themselves. No respect while talking, over bargaining, leering and harassing women, littering and making noise and all of this with an over entitled attitude.
Never happens in thailand in general but you should definitely avoid tuk tuks

Thanks for the video. I went to Cap Haitien several times from Port-au-Prince in the '90s, so it brought back many good memories. You guys are crazy though. I would've walked around like that, but not with a phone, a camera, or even a wallet. Good luck, and keep uploading more videos!

I remember few years back, Haiti was nearly demolished by a severe earthquake. India also sent its rescue workers.
Not a few, it was like a decade ago .
And to be honest it was strong but there have been stronger ones in Chile, El Salvador, Mexico and on the Asian side Philippines, Indonesia etc and other countries along the Pacific ring of fire that are not considered first world that fixed themselves without international donations and aid teams and again they faced even stronger earthquakes

The throat cutting gesture means stop recording. The kid wasn't the only one to do it. It's not meant as a threat, actually, they feel threatened by the recording because security is so bad, thugs record areas and who travels through before they attack. Hi Param, I think you did take unnecessary risk in confronting that person who was yelling at you. I 💯 percent agree you were right but in such a country it’s very risky. What if that guy had a knife or gun or a mob formed against you ? Also if police got involved you never know what problems you may have faced. Anyways, I am glad situation got resolved. But bhai be more careful next time in such countries, even if you are right because if things go bad you have no help.
I was going to write the same thing. It doesn't matter whether you are right or wrong. I completely understand that's how most guys in their 20s would react, but if things took a bad turn and something happened to you, you would regret your actions, especially about something so insignificant. Your muscles will probably not save you when you have a gun or a knife pointed at your face. Be careful out there. Your life is much more important than a video shot.
