Makesy's cotton wicks work great with their Virgin Coconut Soy wax.
Yeah I bet!! I need to get some to test them out! 😄
So helpful!!!! Thank you for doing the work :)
Absolutely! So glad I could help! 😄
Love your videos. Glad I found your channel!
Oh my gosh thank you so much! You're too kind!! 😄
Love the wax wars!
Haha thank you!! I really need to do another one soon now that I’m a little more established and actually know what I’m doing! 🤣🤣
Virgin Coconut Soy is one my favorite wax. I put it in my top 3 waxes.
Yes!! It's definitely a great wax to work with!
Thank you for the info!
Absolutely! Thanks for watching! 😄
lol oopps i skipped to the cold throw... thanks so much for the video, candle channels like you make me not want to quit cause man there are so days where I'm like f this lol.
Hahaha! It's fine I knew a lot of people probably would! Haha! Aww Oh my gosh thank you! That's the kindest thing anyone could say to me! Lol! I always love inspiring people to keep going! ❤ But you're definitely not alone, we all have those days. ❤🩹
So I'm new to candle making. Coco Apricot creme is what I chose to start with after doing some research. I just wanted to have more natural/cleaner candles. But I love it so far from the few I've made and tested. I've got a lot of great feedback from people I've had test my candles.
It’s really a great wax to work with! I haven’t done any extra testing since this video but I plan to work with it again in the future! It’s a very nice wax and easy to work with! 😄
@@the1994candleco I agree, I love it!! It has an amazing CT and HT. My tops are always smooth.
thankyou I use apricot coconut cream and it's great wax smells amazing hot and cold
It was definitely a great wax to work with!! I may need to try it again in the future!! :)

@@kathleenpizarro3547 Love it! :)
Thank you it can be one helluva mess I dont feel alone now😂❤
Haha I totally understand! Absolutely! So glad I could help! Thanks for watching! ❤
Hi Nick! Thank you for this video! I am doing some research and considering switching from 100% Soy wax to Coco Apricot Creme wax. Or perhaps mixing my soy wax w/ another wax or additive. I'm not sure about it yet though. Mainly bc of the hot throw from soy wax seems to be naturally more faint than other waxes.
Hi friend! Thanks for watching!!
Yeah in my experience and what I’ve learned from others is 100% soy is generally going to have a fainter hot throw sadly. I use 6006 which is a blend of soy and paraffin for this reason! But honestly this coco apricot creme wax was AMAZING and the hot throw was really nice! Much stronger than just straight soy for sure! 😄
@@the1994candleco thank you so much for the feedback and your insight! 🤎 I have to admit I am trying to stick with an all natural candle. After doing some additional research I do see there are some waxes where a small amount of food grade paraffin is added to help w/ scent throw and I am thinking about trying it out as well! Do you use CD wicks for your current wax?
@BlessedVesselsCandleCo. Yeah pretty much any wax you get now a days if it has paraffin in it, it's fully refined food grade paraffin which means it's still clean burning and non toxic just like other waxes you find on the market. :) I use HTP wicks now. I used to use ECO wicks but didn't like how they performed with some scents etc.
@@the1994candleco ooo! Thank you for the insight Nick!!! I appreciate you! I think I am gonna give it a try.
Could you test Coco 83?
It’s definitely on the list and I actually have some here I just have had so many other video ideas etc I haven’t gotten to that one yet! Lol! But yes it is one I plan to do in the future! 😄
@@the1994candleco can't wait 😁
Anytime your wicks are too hot, the wax will burn.
Yep haha! Thankfully these weren't to to hot but just a little bit hotter than I needed! Haha! :) Thanks for watching!
Paraffin in vcs not in cac
The CAC from Makesy does have paraffin in it according to their website. Their CAC is different than the Calwax version… but according to most places that sell the calwax version it also has paraffin in it.
