Gabriel Belozi is a childhood friend and a member of their band Fearless and plays guitar. The band is rounded out by Davi Vasc, Dan’s little brother, who plays bass and makes his living writing music for video games, and Gio on drums (I’m totally blanking on his last name right now!🤦♂️). Their original album, Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom, is absolutely amazing, as is their cover of Dawn Of Victory, with the great Fabio Lione himself. In that collaboration, Fabio is actually in Dan’s garage studio; in most other collabs, the parts are done separately, especially the ones with Victor, who lives in Sweden. Loved watching both of your surprise reactions to this song. Dan remade this song in a way nobody else can. I agree with another comment that the only thing I wish was different was it's length. I just wish it could go on and on! I've listened countless times and it never gets old.

I think Dan knows Garret from Orion’s Reign and worked with him back when he fronted the band for a while. Dan does some epic collabs with Orion’s Reign and Minnniva. You can find them on their channel. This was a fun reaction and did they ever give that old song a facelift :-) I think that with this song the iceberg would have melted before the ship hit it

I think so, too. I think the MIDI track Dan must have used (because he doesn't mention a live drummer in the credits) is a recording done by Giovanni (Gio) Rezende (the FEARLESS drummer). The track sounds quite similar to what Gio did for the "Dawn of Victory" recording (he was live in that one, which was fantastic).

Yes! I absolutely WAS! I'd been following what he had said on Instagram not long before the song was released. On the reel he posted on January 18, 2024 (that featured the mixing he was doing for this song), Dan said, "We'll put some hair on Celine Dion's chest. SOON." I had also listened to what he was saying about it, on several podcasts. I fully expected it to be FULLY EPIC and VERY much like this, because...DAN! 😀
This version of the song is 112 years late...if it had been out before the Titanic sank, Jack might have been energized enough to swim that door to shore...Ace, I am not 100 percent positive, but I think Dan uses software to create the backing tracks. I suspect from other examples of his work that if he had been playing the drums, video would have been incorportated into the finished product.
