@@Khadaru thanks for watching!
Part 2🔥🔥
when is part 2 coming? :)
Hey man! I do not know many things about which rappers use which type of samples and all the genres. Like soul samples are used by which rappers and dark melodies are used by whic rappers. Would love if you get some info at that
This is probably the best sample making channel out there 🙏🏽❤️
thank you man!!
Check out cobalii
Yeah. You should check out Cobalii too.
Probably😂 it definitely is
Agree. No doubt KVXI is dope. There is this guy on the come up though called Strategic Audio czcams.com/video/oCkLjVYYpFw/video.html He's dope too!
I have never seen someone showing it (chords) on the daw step by step , very helpfull for a beginner like me
Videos have leveled up! Great tutorial bro!
my guy thank you!
First of all, I just want to thank you for all the great content you are providing and yes, please make PT 2🙏
aye thanks man! looking like i might do it!
I snagged AJ's drums last week, they're next level....great video dude! ;D
Part 2 part 2 part2 part 2 part2 pleeeeeease
Bro you and Dillygotitbumpin have been the MOST helpful, kind, consistent and legit people on my journey so far - no BS, no elitist shit, sooo accessible with the VSTS and methods. Can’t thank you enough actually feel like I might get somewhere now 🔥🔥🔥
thanks so much man! Im super glad that these videos been helpin! thanks for your support man!
This is possibly the best beat making tutorial ever
ayeeeeee thanks man! soak up these 💎
I be watching bout of y’all tutorials this dope
one of the most in depth and informative tutorials i've seen on this genre, Thank you bro
Thanks for watching!
Excellently done! One of the best tutorials I’ve found on creating soul samples. I will refer back to this many times over.
thanks man! Hope it helps!
The doubling the chord thing made my beats where more 🔥 I learned that from watching a tutorial on somebody remaking devil in a new dress. I like to use a Celeste too
Hell yea that tutorial is goated 😂 I know what you talking about
🔥🔥🔥🔥 I will be studying this video thoroughly. Can’t wait for Pt2
Thanks for watching man!
piano pattern is fire!
Wish everyone went into detail like this man 🥲 appreciate you K 🙏🏿
🙏🏻
sorry for the crackling in the recording lol rip
Thank you so much my friend people like you us what restores my faith in humanity 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Dope video! I would definitely like to see a Part 2 video how you end up flipping this sample 👍🏼
Otw!
My favourite channel at the moment! So helpful bro thank you!!!
Fantastic video, I’m definitely recognizing this process may be easier w/ a computer than the IPadOS system but i believe I can do it as is w/ swam, decent, and some dedicated organ and piano AUV3s. Luckily, I play guitar because that seems like the hardest thing to synthesize.
Bruh pulled that organ video of world renowned organist derrick Jackson...that's my former teacher. G.O.A.T.
man I've been out of sampling and making beats but this channel has been making me hungry again. Much appreciation brother!
If you’re looking for great analog vsts try Roland Cloud, Korg, Arturia, and Spitfire Kontakt libraries. Also get used to using your mod wheel and sustain. If you don’t have a foot pedal just browse your parameters (fl studio) of the vst and link it to your midi keyboard or use automaton.
If you want to give your sample an old grainy, analog sound try Baby Audio plugins or Wavesfactory Cassette
I grew up during the golden age of soul and was bored with much of it back in the 70s. So I find it strange that producers try to make hits with 2nd rate soul samples. I wasn't expecting much from your vocalist, BUT.... she set that sample on FIYAH! Def worth the wait.
one of the most informative and impressive tutorials ive seen in time. I dont even make soul samples but im bout to cook some soulfood baby
You create a very chill vibe innthese videos just nice to put on the background while doin sun
The melody building part was dope, respect, the breakdown was 👌🏾
I'm def gonna need this part 2 if you plan on making it! My goal for the rest of this year is to make samples/loops to sell/collab with others with, but I want to have the process down. Thank you for what you're doing!
Posted pt 2!
nahhh this tutorial is next level big up you
thanks man!!!
One of the best tutorials I have ever seen on CZcams. And I usually don’t comment. Thank you for all the details. You laid out in the video. 🙏🏽🚀 definitely subbed 👊🏽
Thanks man!!
Who edits your videos?
@@prodkxvi no problem family
Yes i watched till end and i need 2nd part
bettt!
Thank you.
Goat bro
Thanks for this awesome guide! Would love to see PT. 2! How do you generally go about arranging the sample? How many bars, hook first?
i typically put the section that is most ear catching first just to get the producers attention even if that section shouldn't really go first in a song, but typically i try to structure it out like a song or at least a part of one. Verse section with less going on, hook with a lot going on, and some bridge parts for switchups! in general I just try to add a lot of variation so theres a ton of choices to flip for the producer!
Commenting before the video starts to say thank you because i know this will be good
Great video! Only thought is at the start you could look into the lense, it's a bit off-putting that you aren't "looking at me" while you are explaining
Good point! Thanks for watching
dope video, was looking for part 2 then realized that I caught your vid just 5 days after you posted this. lol can't wait for part 2!
Pt 2 out now!

Let’s go KXVI!

Because you are in the key of Ab, it might be best to refer to the sharpened notes by their enharmonic flattened equivalent.
I've really been enjoying your videos!!!

Thanks man!

also congrats on everything you've accomplished so far, another cool video to see would be pros + cons of being an online beatseller vs working in the industry + how to balance both sides

Like at 11:45

🔥🔥🔥good stuff bro Tell That Woman To drop a vocal pack
its out now on www.vocalsupply.com ! "Soul Vocals Vol 1"
@@prodkxvi I’m on them right now
The “idk what chord this is” part with the grand piano u added a 9th to it bro . Skipped the 8th tone in the chord from the 7th chord u were already playing which makes it a 9th instead of a 7th at least at that part. If u left the 7th tone out in that chord then it’d be a add9 chord. Just so you know if u don’t. I’m not a super theory guy either but im tryna learn while also learning from stuff like this
ayeeee thanks man! Yea a lot of the times I have no idea what I'm doing but I follow my ear 🙏
Ouuu he threw in the bluesy Zaytoven note!
hell yea!!!
Dope tutorial!
Thanks!
Awesome video, you got a subscriber. Just so you know what you were calling an out of tune note is referred to as a color note it helps highlight the notes playing around it. Keep it up tho💪🏾.
Ayeee thanks man! Idk the names of anything I do tbh 😂 just go by ear
@@prodkxvi I’m the same way self taught but I’ve picked up things over the years. I’m not a CZcamsr but I would love to work with you in the future. Much love bro.
King shit, giving us content that SHOULD cost 💲
You the 🐐 for making these possible!
Thanks man...1000x
yessir!
Ты крут баратан! Продолжай )
so many gems in here
Fr! Take notes 🙏🏻 📝
Im late bro. But dope video.
What a great video! Recently I started studying music theory and playing real instruments! How much did you serve you? I speak as for the creation of loops, I think it helps a lot, and it is something that every producer (in my opinion) should be interested, greetings from arg 🤝
Hell yea real instruments help a ton to get that nice texture and sound Fr
gems !!
Thanks g!
what amp sim did you use for your guitar playing?
What’s your favorite daws
💛♥
Its a very nice sample although I often find that MIDI strings and Brass never sounds authentic enough. As a result I myself never gravitate towards such vsts. Everything else you can sort of get away with.
Yea I feel you bro
underrated af bro
🙏🏻🫡
Guitar....E tonic barre chords
Yall run this shit up! So we can get part 2 don’t be bashful!
yessir spread the word !!!
