Sagie Kaharizi Given the mechanic of other giant cards, being 10 mana and reduced in some way, leads me to believe it’s the latter. Hence the disappointment.
@@nullion9358 Assuming based on how Hearthstone uses this kind of text it's a 9 mana 8/8 that gets reduced to an 8 mana 8/8, also you might want to check how many giants are actually 10 mana, cos I think you'll find there's more that aren't :)
On the face of Krania, arguably the most powerful character in Hearthstone lore. With a winning recipe of gameplay combined with editing and a hefty dose of salt, this fusion has proven overpowered in both the CZcams and Twitch formats.
Distinguishable Pie it is, one of Krania’s main weapons, the CZcams sub count, is slowly decreasing.
What I find interesting is that a lot of these cards aren't worded the way Blizzard would word them for consistency, but if they were worded "correctly", as in Blizzard's way, I doubt they would've got as much attention. Mostly noticing this with Munchroot. It says "Remove One Word - [Your] Minions cost (3) [More]." but if this card were actually printed, Blizzard would print it as "Choose one - Your minions cost (3) OR all minions cost (3) more." Like Kripp said, it's the inventiveness that tends to grab people's attention and give upvotes for these cards, and when it's worded as "Remove One Word", people view it as a new mechanic that's interesting and fun, even though it's already an existing mechanic just worded differently. I just thought this was interesting, that the fact that if you just word things differently to how Blizzard would, it grabs more attention for being different even though Blizzard would never print it that way.
The way it is worded means that if it is resurrected or played through say, dirty rat, it would actually have a negative effect on you.

Originally, Naga Sea witch set the cost to 5 and ignored the giant’s cost reduction. It was later changed to that monstrosity for who know what reason. The first version was fair. The second was not.
This card’s balance is the same situation. It really depends on if it sets the cost to 3 before or after the giant’s abilities apply.
If you kept up with Trump's card reviews he agrees, likes the card, change it to Choose one and it costs 8 mana he said.

There is nothing wrong, you're right. He's just not relevant anymore. He was relevant doing tutorials, how to's, arena evaluations and describing value trading to noobs. But noone that started in the beta is a noob anymore. His content has become obsolete. He does not play tournaments anymore and if so, he fails miserably. He's not one of the top arena players anymore. And his card ratings and predictions in the last years have been laughable at best. Bad and wrong most of the time, unfortunately. Conclusion? You should not watch him anymore, seriously. It's analytic. No bitterness here.
so what i'm learning from this video is that kripp is as easily impressed and as versed in the mechanics of hearthstone as the average reddit user.

(1.) "A man in the Mirror" - Epic Elemental for Mage:
3 2/2 Deathrattle: Shuffle a 'Mirror Image' into your deck. When casted summon a 4/4 Elemental.
"Mirror Man" is the strongest Elemental.
I think it could be a Legendary.
Or work with 'Mirror Entity'.
(2.) 4 3/4 Legendary for Rogue: *Combo*: Equip random Weapons for each player. Repeat until both Weapons have the same Attack.
A Flavor card. It's like Blinktron, but fair.
Also some Deathrattles may trigger, watch out for Twig and Valanyr!

"shadow word fatigue" 6 mana priest spell: for the rest of the game, your opponent draws an extra card at the end of their turn
"echo of light" 4 mana priest spell: shuffle 3 copies of a minion into your deck, if you played an elemental last turn, return this to your hand at the end of your turn.
both are meant to be sort of fatigue priest theme.

(1.) Shadow Word: Fatigue seems interesting.
Dead against aggro and great against control, but also very risky.
Priest can Shadow Vision it, get it from Lyra... Lots of potential scenarios.
Cards like this, or Aluneth should be printed in the third set of the year imo.
IDK how strong it is, but it's a mill card I haven't seen before.
(2.) Echo of Light is a Gang Up for Priest that could go infinite, but only with Elementals.
It's not like Jade Idol, but like Astral Tiger because it stays the same, which makes it fair.
A good way to create Elemental Priest.
Before all Elementals rotate out.

I probably shit my pants when I hear 'We're gonna be rich' since Cybirb is totally playable in aggro mech hunter stat-wise.
@@ratpongkraiwiwat5988 hearing reno isn't truly that big of a deal when you are playing aggro mech or any aggro deck in wild for that matter because reno doesn't impact with the board. However, reno is simply a win more condition vs aggro when compared to godfrey or even zilliax and any other early board clears/stall will win you more games vs aggro than simply playing reno.

A minion taking up more than one space is actually an idea i was almost certain would be introduced with Un'goro with how they were talking about how giant some of the dinosaurs would be. Sadly that's something they still haven't implemented. ^^

The stages of denial can work in rogue deck
step 1: draw the card
step 2: draw your deck (Myra)
step 3: play the stages
step 4: after depression, play academic espionage.
If you've even remotely good enough minion for the stages(especially depression) to be value, you might stand to win

Then you know they have a Cybirb. It has it's own play sound too.
I once made a fatigue card! It was a potion (similar to a shrine) that healed you instead of taking damage when you take fatigue

That gave it some chances for strategy and timing so it couldnt be abused that much

Is the gold added from conceding supposed to be given by the opponent or Blizzard?
My assumption was Blizz since it says add and not give but whichever the case we will never see a card like that printed.
Card#7 I think that was also meant to be to screw random minion generation, if he gets summoned by an evolve for example, it has : "Your minions cost 3 more" So the full effect without any word removed.
Couldn’t you burn the spell from the vanish effect on #9? With enough cards in hand and minions on board, you basically shuffle a cast when drawn vanish.
Full Northshire isn’t necessarily a certain death. If you have 60 cards in your deck, you’ll take 0 fatigue damage from the whole full northshire. The first circle of healing will heal no minions and draw no cards because the clerics and pyromancer start out undamaged. The other three circles of healing will draw 20 cards each, for a total of 60 cards, leaving your deck with 0 cards. You’d then take 1 fatigue damage the next turn, making full northshire survivable without Mal’ganis.

also i find it interesting how Depression only resurrects minions you've played, that should help narrow things down since minions from card effects and battle cries won't be resurrected

Raelghor the Briber with Shudderwock could create a turn where conceding gets you a free pack
The Zodiac Thief is OP in rogue. Just shuffle 6-7 copies of it in your deck or make 1/1 copies of it. Play them and win the game. The fatigue acceleration factor is not important if you are winning before your deck is out.

The briber can be printed with a little change, it only triggers it's battlecry when played in ranked mode. So it cant be abused in friend or normal games, where losing doesnt really have a bad.side, but in ranked it is a whole other story, especially because deck's are realy tight, and this is a bad card to put in, the negative effecet is meaningful, cause the only readon to play ranked us stars. (And legend).

Deck: 10, man, those cards are so cool, that I kept getting distracted, and I had to watch it like 5 times, before I got an accurate word count (especially with my personal favourite: Fife Stages of Grief). I see one unfortunate issue with Cybirb, it's unfair for people with hearing disorders, and letting deck trackers interpret those sounds would kind of kill the fun of playing this card. Still, interesting design.
Yeah, but I mean... ever tried to play overwatch with no audio? Games aren't designed around disabilities too much. Hearthstone doesn't have colorblind options.

Munchroot is "incredibly balanced" Despite being just a much much better Naga Sea Witch. A card that had to get nerfed in Wild for being too oppressive.
from otehr comment it depends if it works like sea witch ogrinally or not. ogrinaly it was just 5mana and no reductions from Giants. If it works like that the card is 100% fine.
Custom card makers assume Blizzard didn't make the idiotic change that an effect that sets a card's value comes before discounts are applied.

The Zodiac card is designed strangely.
Its a battlecry with a condition that wont be resolved, and waits for the next fatigue to happen.

Number One is a neat idea, but it would be abused SO hard. Just queue up with a buddy over and over, whomever draws it first plays it, then concede for ten free gold.

Priest already have card that is better, Cameleon.
It shows you a card in your oponenta hand and it sits safe in your hand instead of on the board.
You can even play it as the card is mimicking if you need to.
It's just better.

I believe armor can't get you out of the second option. Doesn't heal mechanic only work with health? So you'd lose maximum health when you play Reno...Anyway, great video, more of those please :D
