In the documents asked, why are they mentioning Visa fee receipt..bcoz when applying for visa i.e filling ds 160 form..they didn't ask for any payment?
Sir Me and my friend have filled and submitted our DS 160 forms. Now, I have created my profile on CGI Portal and trying to pay visa fee. Here, an option comes-add by name/add by applicant. I have added my friends application and filled particulars of his name/passport/his DS 160 confirmation no. etc. After continuing, system has generated pay slip for $320 (160×2) for payment at Bank with my UID reference. I am supposed to go to bank for payment Obviously, bank will issue single receipt for payment of $320. BUT-- there are instructions on CGI portal that each applicant should create his separate profile and make payment separately. Bulk payments of fee are not suggested. If so, why System generated single pay slip of $320 for two applicants ? Can I make single payment or my friend has to pay separately by creating his own profile and separate pay slip. How will we get appointment together in that case, as we intend to go for interview together.
