7 Days To Die 1.0 Release - Zombie Horde! Dog Horde! Pig Horde?

After a few in game days offscreen, I have managed to put together my main base! Although there is still a lot of work to be done, I have decided to locate the best place to set up a Horde Base. I have decided to make this a Cell Tower! While setting things up, I end up first getting attacked by a Zombie Dog Horde. After being taken out by the dogs and respawning, i get hit by not one a full wandering zombie horde, but also by zombie pigs! Are there Zombie Pig Hordes? Let me know in the comments below!

I was wondering... I was too busy freaking out!
You need to give zombies a way to reach you on hoard night otherwise they go into rage and destroy everything under you.
Got an evening hoard my first, no dogs yet. Been visited by little miss screamer couple times, they are tougher to kill IMHO.
I managed to kill one of them that came up with the bow. Why she did not scream, I do not know. When the second one came up, I ran and hid behind the barn until she wandered off.
Yes, the 1.0 version is awesome, the next update will fix a lot of bugs.
For easy horde bases in the early days check the video from Guns, Nerds, and Steel. He gives good tips and info. Roaming dog herds i have seen, not fro with boars but there are more boars running around in the wild in this version.

I am seriously taking your advice on that. For the first horde night, I used a cell tower. I survived, but it was only good for the first horde, that is for certain. I need something a lot more stable! How far from your main base would you think is best to build the horde base?
@@HawkeyeM It doesn't have to be very far from your home base, i think about 2 POI from it is enough. Personally i like to build my horde base from scratch in an open field and fairly high to avoid rage mode from the zombies. Usually i use a pole for path so the zombies have to line up instead of being able to stand next to another. Personally i liked the horde base guns,nerds, and steel made at the judie witch silo and tower, until you get cops in the horde.
IIRC you can upgrade the chests?
You can upgrade the chests with forged iron and then steel, increases the storage too. 10 Forged iron or steel a chest to upgrade.
What materials is the tower made from?
Steel or Iron. It is pretty tough.
