I love God for all the great things he does in my life. I 8:39 retired. And I knew I didn't have enough money. But he has kept me going
I was having a really hard time 5 yrs ago. Everything in my life was torn upside down. That morning before work I hit my knees raised my hands above my head and I said “God I need you to please help me. I just can’t do this anymore. I need you more now than ever. “ That day I went into work and I just felt like everything was going to workout. A friend of mine decided we should go out for a bite since we ran out of work early. That night I met my future husband. I’m not struggling in any part of my life anymore. God is good. He has taken such good care of myself and my family.

I am 64 years old my husband pass away 17 years ago in the last year I found God I think he has been waiting for me to realize he been with me all along the thing is I don't no how to pray I feel foolish forgive me lord
Don't feel foolish, Brenda. Just talk to Him. I like to start out by thanking Him for all He has done for me and especially for the blood of Jesus that was shed for all of us (Psalm 91 - prayer of protection; there is also a book out by Joseph Prince with the same title - it is awesome). Then I repent of all my sins and the sins of my family and ask for His strength to be obedient to His will/Word and to change me to make me more like Him each day. Then I pray for specific needs, for myself, others and for my country. I have found that as I talk to Him. the Holy Spirit leads me into areas I need to address.
During these times we need to keep looking up and stay focused on Him and not looking around dwelling on our circumstances. He's in control of it all. God bless you, Brenda. Be well.

As soon as I read your comment, the song "No Longer Slaves" by Jonathan & Melissa Helser came to mind. You see I used to be like you. What helped me to push back against them was to immerse myself with songs about God's love and constantly bringing my fears, worries, and anxieties to God no matter how small or silly they are.
