If you haven't been through it, that kind of betrayal is devastating and like a poison. It does change your personality, because you are no longer who you thought you were. But it doesn't give us the permission to ruin lives too.

John couldn't have time with his wife but with a side chick. What a man
John was a selfish man who destroyed his family life for his enjoyment. She could have cheated too for neglected her and the children, but she didn't. She dedicated her life for him and their family so he could continue climbing up the ladder, for him to repay her by betrayal. He didn't help her with children forced her to move several time but one day she said she was tired of moving, became his excuse for his betrayal. His friend were saying that he didn't go to his parties but he had never helped her with the kids and she had never complained too. If he gave a little bit time to his family and help with children, she would have energy to go to his parties. His mistress didn't have children that why she was partying with him.
This story is the reason why my father ALWAYS told me to put my studies and career above any man or relationship. He always said that one day, my husband could leave me for another woman or cheat on me with other younger women or could hurt me, beat me and I would have nowhere to go or how to take care of myself. He was SO right! He died in 2017, and I know I kept his words in my heart. It was the best advice he ever gave me.
This lady should have taken care of her career and financial stability and avoided two pregnancies, one after the other, because this would destroy her health and mental stability. She is home taking care of house and kids. He is out late at night in events and with other women. What did she think that could happen?
Of course, there would be betrayal!
And from the story shee made the decision to stay home why do that and give up your career???
And again from the story she was not going out with the husband even though he wanted her with him at his awards.
However that doesn't mean he should have been unfaithful

In a way John brought it on himself. If he'd keep his pants zipped in the first place then there would have been no reason for his wife to feel slighted. I in no way condone what his wife did . But a woman scorned....

Men choose to have an affair rather than lovely help their wife get through with dealing with the responsibility of a new baby, he wasn't attracted to her after the baby weight if only he took a hour a day to let that women get a shower and some "me" time away from a crying baby and water his own grass Nikki would have blossomed and even sexier than before, he chose to be selfish and abandoned that woman at her lowest point. I am sorry she get lower and killed him but I do not judge her. He created whatever she become. I am sorry for those kids tho.
