    Why does no one compare the Graco one?? I would really like to see a Graco turn2me comparison

      I think it's due to the graco not fully rotating. It only rotates from rear facing. My child is out of rear facing, so to me, it's basically useless, and my best guess is they're only comparing the 360 rotating brands. They all have their issues minus the nuna and ofc it's a much higher price point I believe in us it's about $650-700. Maxi cosi, nuna, safety 1st, and evenflo(I think) are the only fully rotating ones so far. Nuna has a low height weight limit, evenflo rotates the best but the crotch strap is short, maxi cosi is the same issue but you need 2 hands to rotate, and safety 1st shouldn't be on the market imo. I shook the seat and it literally knocked it off the base. I've watched videos of them installed with a child in it and same thing. I just tested it in store display. Hope this helps.

      One issue is all Graco car seats allegedly have flame retardant chemicals, which most brands phased out because of risk for cancer, thyroid issues, mental development issues, and infertility issues.

    Can you make the crotch clip longer or adjust it for chunkier thighs? I know that the evenflo you can adjust it forward and back in slots but i was wondering if you can make it longer so it doesn’t cut down into the thighs if that makes any sense?

    • @Strolleria
      @Strolleria  Před 11 měsíci +2

      Hi there! Totally makes sense. I just checked our floor model and it does not allow the buckle to extend any longer. It only allows you to adjust the buckle through a car seat shell to make it slightly higher like you mentioned.

      I also have a baby with chunky thighs and her Graco cuts into her :( My only criteria is that she’s safe and comfortable.

    I want to purchase the nuna revv but I’m unsure of how she will last in it. She is 9 months, 21 lb and 31 inches (99 percentile). Which car seat do you recommend?

    • @Strolleria
      @Strolleria  Před 6 měsíci +2

      Hi there! The Nuna REVV is a great option if you are looking for the rotating ability. Typically babies grow pretty quickly within the first year and then slow down on their height and weight through the next few years. On average the REVV can be used through around 3-4 years old. If you are worried about her growing out of her car seats too quickly some all-in-one options are meant to grow with them for longer!

    Just bought the evenflo gold 360 and while the rotation part is great, the buckles by the crotch are shaped terribly so they dig into my child's thighs. I mean really dig in so that alone is why im returning it. If the strap was longer it might would've been okay but unfortunately, it's not. You can loosen it or so it says then i go to do it and its the loosest it comes and if my 15 month old cant fot it definitelywont be the last car seat we would ever need. Then to get the straps loose, there's no button for easy release. You reach quite a bit under the seat and flip a release switch then have to really pull to get the straps to loosen. And you have to have your hand in just the right position or else itll stop the strap from loosening. Our old carseat was a Graco that had a visible easy to push button to release the straps. 100% easier that way. in comparison to that Graco, this feels janky. Also if you have a smaller to mid size car or small suv( mine is a camry), in rear facing I can't really recline it without me or the front passenger adjusting our seats. The seat looks comfortable minus the bottom buckle area and it does rotate one handed but all the latches and locking into position feels loose like that's not the feeling I want in a carseat to keep my child safe if the worst were to happen. Definitely returning asap and trying to find a better rotating option

      What did you end up replacing it with?

    • @jointjutsukonan3074
      @jointjutsukonan3074 Před 4 měsíci +1

      @caramelchic123 thank you for replying, I lost where I left this, and I wanted to update.
      In short, or my attempt to be lol.. unless you want to spend I think 650ish possibly more on the rotating nuna, which with a 18 month old whos tall, it wouldn't last me long since it's weight/height limit is pretty low, this is the best rotating option. I looked into maxi cosi, the price point in-between evenflo rotating and the nuna, and you have to use 2 hands to rotate. Not only that, but the button you have to press is in the front so it's a little awkward. One of the best parts of the evenflo is the handle is on both sides, very convenient, and super easy to rotate. Once i even rotated her 180 to rear facing to get her out easier since it reclines more in rear facing. I looked into every fully rotating carseat even more, used all in person and while it has its flaws, the evenflo rotates the best, feels the safest (minus nuna) and turns out the maxi cosi also has the issue of the crotch buckle being too short. I've gotten use to the bad latch to loosen the straps. Honestly, the rotation is such a huge life saver. I'm not ever going back to one that doesn't. So I've kept it, it's mainly due to very limited choices in fully rotating car seats. Many rotate from back but not from front facing. That is useless for us. I feel like some of the issues with all, including evenflo, are partially due to the mechanics of a rotating seat. Since I didn't want to spend that amount on a nuna that might last us 2 years tops, I eventually accepted this was the best option and am happy with it. The rotation i cant praise enough it really makes things so much easier. Especially if you have a large baby or back/neck issues. Probably other health issues, too. I hope this helps!

      Hey i saw a video the other day on how to get it longer if you notice the buckle does have 3 slots you can put it in too but you have to remove the whole cover to do this and get it to the length you want, let me know if you tried@@jointjutsukonan3074

    Hi! Are the Evenflo and the Nuna the only truly one handed to turn? I’ve read reviews that it can be difficult to use the some of the revolving seats with a child in one arm. Thanks!

      Hi! Great question! I would say that the Nuna REVV, Evenflo Revolve360, and even the Baby Jogger City Turn will be quite easy to rotate truly one-handed. I would say the Maxi-Cosi Emme and the Cybex Sirona S would be the two that can involve a little more effort while rotating. Hope this helps! :)

      Hi there! We would recommend looking into all-in-one options, as they are meant to grow with children for an extended time. Some of the popular all-in-one's are the Birtax One4Life or Diono Radian collection.

      Great question! The REVV has one of the smallest footprints when rotating, but they will all be larger in size due to needing to be able to rotate. If you have a store local to you I would recommend testing the floor models in your car first!
