When I saw Cincinnati runestone in the thumbnail I thought you were going to be talking about our local Heathen group Runestone Heathens of Southwest Ohio. I had no idea this was in Spring Grove cemetery. This video ought to get some conversation started in the group. Sharing it now!

FYI, I'm going to visit 3 other runestone locations next weekend. They all sound REALLY interesting. I'll be making separate videos for all 3.

Is the Heavener Runestone of Oklahoma one that you will be looking at? I saw it a few decades ago. Very interesting. Lots of theories about it. One said a catholic priest was with the Vikings. I know Wikipedia says it’s very recent.

Mr. Shell, I am of German, Swedish, and Norwegian descent. Since you are an expert on Germanic language, I was just curious as to whether you were of German descent as well? I have always had a love for the German language. I really enjoyed your video today. Thank you.

Where can I order a runestone to be constructed? We all die sometime so I may as well get a head start.

Well, that I’m not too sure about! Whoever does it, I hope they put their heart and soul into it and know what they’re doing!

@@akatosh2795 Artists chisel through stone. Masons chisel through stone. A Runemaster chisels through the very fabric of the rune, making manifest the very mystery of intercommunication between this world and the other! 😉

@@scottt.shellcontinentalger2464 THAT, more of that in some videos would be fascinating. Everyone tries to remain fully academic on here, fine - where it belongs. But there are other things that fall outside that realm (these days at least). Bring that back, be at that forefront.
