12: Layouts | grandMA3 for grandMA2 Programmers | consoletrainer tutorial 2021

I'll explain how to create and edit layouts, including some new things you can do. I'll also show you how to make the fixtures in your layouts look more like the grandMA2 style, and less like cutesy lightbulbs.

Hi thank you for the video!
I disabled the "show Title Bar" option in the layout View settings. Very handy, but now I can´t open the layout setings and enable the bar anymore...
Is there a way to show the title bar again?

Hi Angus! Don't think so. We can have duplicates of some objects (like sequences), but not fixtures. At least, not in v1.4. No idea if this will change in the future.

Is there no current way to make the outer frame of each square fixture a color like you could in MA2? I have a plot made earlier today - followed your video and its great however - if I have a plot full of different types of fixtures (beams,washes,etc) in MA2 I would just color code them...when I go into the layout edit under appearance - none of those colors actually show around the fixtures, has this not been implemented yet?

Its not in v1.4, but there are colored border options in the beta. I would guess that we'll see it in the next release, but I can't guarantee it. Its up to MA.
