Derek is the greatest living guitar player, his wife Susan is the greatest living female rock singer, and TTB is the greatest and tightest touring band in the world.

Derek is a natural leader. The cast and crew are top shelf, and they seem to understand that "less is more". I've seen them dozens of times, and they never overpower the rooms they play. For my money, the best band touring these days.

Every interview I've ever seen from any of the band members in this group is always so genuine. They just come across as "good people" and the music they play is full of substance and beautifully orchestrated. I love it. Derek's guitar playing is so incredible that It's like his guitar is another separate band member that speaks and cries with so much emotion. All the other band members are incredible too. Every single member is so valuable and has a solid spot that makes it all work. This band is one of my favorite.

Great interview. This guy asks a question and then let’s the answer happen. Derek is such an awesome guitarist and articulates things so well.

Thanks. I had not been hearing Susan’s name much so good to know they are still together and getting through all this loss.

The band talks about the difficulty it has faced over the last few years, are they referring to the loss of Kofi? Or is it more than that?

Kofi, Greg allman, Butch Trucks, Colonel Hampton... it's been a shitty couple years

Danny Smith Kofi was still with the band when the album was recorded (he past away on the day of release). To be specific the losses that the band confronted in the process of making this record were mainly those of the Colonel, Gregg, and Butch among others.

Danny Smith Quite a story right? To me personally Signs sounds a bit sad which I guess is inevitable considering all these losses and the emotions that the songs convey.
