Simple Sculk Sensor Farm

You could just drop them on a (soul)campfire to kill off the ones that spwan with armor and survive the fall.

​@@MineTheFab Should as the catalyst responds to deaths within a radius around it not just on top of it then triggers skulk growth like what you already have going on.
