    I works very well to spinkle baking soda and spray with vinegar. I remove the excess after soaking up the wetness with paper towels, use a shop vac or handheld vac to take up the crumbs. Then lightly spray and wipe down. Or call a maid to come detail the entire kitchen and house so it's restored to almost new condition. Yes that's what I really want and need.

    Good stuff. But vinegar is an acid and baking soda is a base. When combined, they neutralize each other. The mixture produces water + carbon dioxide + a salt compound: NaHCO3 + HC2H3O2 → NaC2H3O2 + H2O + CO2. Best not to mix them until you want to neutralize the baking soda.

    Is the spray vinegar bottle diluted with water? That’s a lot of vinegar to pour into a bottle? If with water how much parts of each? Also how much parts water to baking soda

    That stovetop was not dirty at ALL. There was nooooo baked-on, or burner food stains. That stove top was amazing clean, to begin with. I do not recommend this video. Come back when yo have a REAL stovetop burner, baked-on grease MESS to clean! You notice how easily those yellow stains drop off of the grating, once she wipes it? Sorry sister... Not buying it!

      Haha 😂 I know when something calls for baking soda and or vinegar or hydrogen peroxide I know it’s not going to work on tuff jobs. I’ll be scrubbing for hours wondering why I’m not getting the same results and at the end I find something with chemicals that make it so much easier

      Yep lol my stove has probably been in my house since the 90s trust me it’s going to take a little more than what she did here

    • @MB-ve3ex
      @MB-ve3ex Před 3 lety +6

      It actually works. I’m one that always uses this combination. BUT, it only works for light jobs. Definitely not for heavy duty cleaning. It will only get so much off and then you will need something else. For heavy duty greasy and cooked on spills and burnt on stuff it’s a must to soak overnight in AMMONIA. Put whatever it is in a ziplock or heavy duty garbage bag, pour in Ammonia and seal tight. Soak overnight. Flip over items 6-8 hours later then take out the next day. I GUARANTEE it will peel off like butter and look like new again (grates, oven racks and stove caps). To clean the stove top use a non scratch Scotch Brite scrubber and alternate with ZEP degreaser wipe clean with wet hot towel, then use baking soda and vinegar solution. Wipe clean with wet hot towel. Stove top will look like new!

    Like the fact that this uses nothing abrasive which is very bad for oven esp around control knobs , will rub numbers off in a shot.

    There is no point in combining vinegar & soda... 1st is an acid, 2nd alkaline so they cancel each other. Basic chemistry🙈

    • @MB-ve3ex
      @MB-ve3ex Před 3 lety +6

      Vinegar and baking soda works. 1 is an acid and the other is a carbonate. They work together to create a natural but gental cleanser for cleaning, scrubbing and removing grease. Dont know what Chemistry class u took but they work together. You can’t mix them and seal them because it becomes a gas and it will explode. But if you mix into a paste or use them separately as in sprinkling baking soda first then spraying vinegar on top it’s fine for cleaning some areas...especially the stove. Educate yourself
