It really bothers me that the Spider-Man Ben Reilly figure doesn't have the black patches on the hands unlike his comic book appearance. It wasn't such a hard thing to do and yet they decided to half ass that anyway

Ben Reilly is one of my favorite characters, but these two figures represent the latest ruining of him by Marvel. I doubt I'll be getting them. It's heartbreaking to me how they waste such a fantastic character.
When they brought him back in clone conspiracy and then he had his own short scarlet spider run, I already didn't really like how his character developed but still kinda able to accept it.. beyond storyline definitely made it worse, he's nothing like how he was during the clone saga. I guess they are essentially making a new character 😅
Great review dude! I'm looking forward to picking these up eventually. Although I'm disappointed there isn't a full set of hands with each one - how am.i supposed to balance them without wall crawling hands?! 😁
You'll have to do it with one hand for Ben, for Chasm, balance using his fists! 😂

i really don't mind the sun fire body mold. it actually does a wider split. it still holds very good now just not for spider men figures any more when it comes to articulations so to me making a spider figure it needs far better articulations now. so all spider figures should be done with the same body molds as the retro Spidey but without the pins even though i don't mind whether it has pins or not. in my opinion till Hasbro can think of something else they can effort to do. with the Spidey figure. the ben Reilly figure just needs a head swap. I think his eyes are too big. And his head is like a helmet under a mask. to some people I bet too lol
The eyes being big is actually accurate to the comics, but that round head isn't lol.. and yeah sunfire body actually does a good split, but for spideys figures I feel having the mid torso ball joint allows better poses than ab crunch
@@Stillfigurineout well those eyes are too big on comics then my friend lol the toros joints have good potential but not perfected yet and it depends some people feel the ab crunch is better and some think the ball joint is better but i don't mind both of them i think both can't not do without the other hoping toy companies can effort to put both on their figures without making them look bad .the head on this ben Reilly does look okey on the sunfire figure though .lol

Marvel Legends fans hate marvel legends figures. There is nothing you fans like. You hate the packaging, you hate the paint, you hate the description on the back of the packaging. There is nothing about marvel legends figures that you like. Why do any of you fans buy marvel legends and you hate them so much?
It's because we know they can do much better, for example the Doctor Strange figure which comes with 2 alternate heads, a pair of hands, a staff and two magic effects and he isn't a deluxe figure, it's hard to not feel hard done by when we have figures like this with basically no accessories for the same price as figures like Doctor Strange
